Oh my gosh!! Your video just made my day/month/year!! You have no idea how much work you saved me--I thought I would have to take alllll the food out! I have this exact setup and your explanation was so perfect! THANK YOU! I subscribed to your channel. This was just so easy and I've opened and closed my fridge a dozen times just for fun!
Thank you Mr. Get it done… thank you for following through and not assuming that I would know all the details to do this job. thank you for the alternative fulcrum tool (2 pieces of wood) I don’t have a crow bar. And as a single female owner builder of my entire house (of course i hired men) I wasn’t raised with tools and find it a huge challenge just understanding how to use the tool. Many DIY videos seem to be made for people(mostly men) that have a general understanding for most tools. I just got a new double door refrigerator with fancy double doors that are supposed to finish closing on their own. well after months of frustration i finally found your video and have fixed the high tech doors to cooperate. Step by step, slowly slowly we will guide each other home. -
Thank you. I watched several videos. None worked for me until yours. The crowbar/shim combo did the trick to elevate the beast. My garage frig didn't have separate feet, just the rollers. But I put a couple shims under and I'm back in self closing land. Thumbs up.
Oh, my gosh - thank you for this video. The door wouldn't close on our brand new fridge from a big box retailer. I searched TH-cam, found you, watched the video, and reconciled your info with what I found under my fridge and FIXED IT! Door swings closed perfectly now. I couldn't find my level, so I downloaded a bubble level app on my phone to check everything as you recommended: front of fridge is up and it's level left to right. I can't thank you enough! Liked and subscribed. May your channel grow it's subscriber count and viewing hours exponentially!
This is an excellent very well explained video. I appreciate the brevity and methodical easy to understand explanation. If you see this post, please tell me how to get the fridge door to close quietly. My house echoes sounds, especially at night. When the fridge door is closed--day or night--it's super loud. So loud that it wakes my daughter who sleeps upstairs. Unfortunately, the fridge sits directly downstairs directly under her bedroom. How can I get it to close quietly? Thanks!
Very logical, I own a Frigidair refrigerator for 2 years now with top freezer, the freezer door self close beautifully but the man door does not. the manual says to bring those levelers down until they touch the floor, but not more that that, do you have any idea why?
Great video! I usually carry different size bits of wood in my car. We come across a lot of different fridges, some have no legs or they are broken - usually i just slide the right size piece of wood underneath the front 2 legs or the front of the fridge to slightly raise the front of the fridge so gravity closes the doors.
Thank you! Now I can fix this headache without calling the service guy. One major error you made for guys like me: you just casually tossed the removed screws on the floor. I don't know about you, but that's a 97% probability that I'm going to loose at least one of the screws, even after I pull the fridge out to look underneath. I always put them in a small cup when I remove them.
1 video, 10 minutes, and I fixed a 2 year old annoyance. Thank you and bless you!
Wow nicely put. Glad it helped!

I'm happy to help. Great job. My daughter recommend that I always explain in great detail because as you said not everyone knows how to use the tools.

He went from his goal being 1/16 to an 1/8 front to back to about 3/4 to 7/8 of the bubble. But it works and that’s all that matters. Thank you sir!

Perfect detail on leveling bubble, my door no longer swing open and it holds at a 90 degree angle. Thank you.

I think that the last level bubble position is very different from what you said was the desirable bubble position earlier in the video.
well done!
Thanks for watching
Mine is the opposite. As soon as I open it to put something in or take something out, it is really to take your head off
Ty
thanks
You're welcome!
I like my door to stay open until I close it.
Is it me or @9:40 the bubble is way more to the left while you said in the beginning that you want just slightly off-center to the left ?
Yes it is off center because we want the door to close once you let go of it.
