It's more interesting to look at character development. In the first season, she is just a child who is afraid of her powers. In the second season, she is calmer and understands her powers better. Well, in the third, she has matured a lot, controls her powers, calm and reasonable. I think in the fourth season it will fully comply with the canon.

Nah. Agatha's is (was?) completely borrowed from the Darkhold - she just didn't know it. Her 'black magic' is her innate power as a child of Trigon (an Old God). Much as Wonder Woman has her own power set as a 'child' of an Old God. Only Raven is much more in tune with her magic in non physical terms than Wonder Woman ever was as far as I can see owing to her training with Constantine and the fact that Wonder Woman channeled her godly power into strength and speed.
If look closely, you'll notice that her darkness and the TK are the very same. The darkness is the visual manifestation of the TK that is her astral body in motion. Raven deserves better CGI and more screentime to show us the possiblilities os her wreak havoc magical powers.

Yeah like imagine that scene in a Marvel show. That would happen then someone would make a joke and everyone would be laughing and forget about it as if they didn’t just explode some guys organs and made him bleed out and die in a pool of his own blood. My personal opinion: Both studios are good in their own right. Marvel has the upper hand in movies whereas DC is better at TV shows but one thing DC has that Marvel doesn’t is that DC knows when to be doom, gloom and serious whereas Marvel loves to crack jokes every 10 seconds.

Ravens soul self is not some disgusting looking liquid goo the most accurate portrayal of her powers is in the animated teen titans. Her power is unbrakinesis she has access to darkness and shadow manipulation like the shade from dc comics. She has mastered the dark part of her soul and mind which enables her to teleport levitate and character fire shadow bolts. They just merc her character in this show

Dont really know about the spell thing, but for the cape, I like it but at the same time I like her current costumes a lot more. She went from a child with no home in season 1 to a young lady in season 3, so the costunes they give her really suits her

Raven is my favorite person titans but there are times they make her overpowered at times .....like her pulling power from the Lazurus pit(Hopefully its not destroyed) which she shouldn't be able to do ....hopefully Al'goul shows up and we get more about the pit

that's all coming in season 4 because she was unstable and still learning in season 1-2 and didn't really have time for it in season 3 but azarath metrion zinthos was really for only spell book incantations IDK if shell even have a spell book.

Dont really know about the spell thing, but for the cape, I like it but at the same time I like her current costumes a lot more. She went from a child with no home in season 1 to a young lady in season 3, so the costunes they give her really suits her
The teen titans cartoon was the only raven incarnation where she constantly says Azarath Metrion zinthos she was also originally created as a magic user...
She did wear a cloak in season 1 that was kinda similar to her Raven cloak
