    I’m gonna give my slightest bit of recommendation, with these am6s if you have enough torque a 17t front sprocket will do wanders and allow you to cruise at 55mph all day long without being high in the Rpms!

    I run a 115 main jet in a 21mm Delorto with no issues at sea level on a 70cc kit, using a Stage6 pro mk2 pipe.
    You need to talk with Technology Elevated about fitting a Smart Carb which eliminates needing to do jetting because of altitude variation.

      We will but we dont sell many am6 parts, seems to be a very low interest engine for us. So we arent going to do a bunch of content when less 1% of the viewers are buying. We will be doing more sherco stuff in a few weeks. Help us out get more people over buying am6 parts and interacting with the videos and we will start doing them more. We make content for the stuff we sell, and projects going on, & bikes people have. If that makes sense.

    Hi from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I have 2 am6 bikes. A Yamaha tzr 50 with a 70 top performances kit and a 21mm carb and a rieju rs3.
    Is this still running the stock carb ? You need at least a 19mm for 70cc , 21 is fine too that’s what I have. I recommend the polini cp carb, easy to tune and well made.

    in sweden we ride 50cc on street legal with license when 15 years old

  • @sjemmiesjem
    @sjemmiesjem ปีที่แล้ว

    i don't know what the US regulations are. in Holland, Europe we are pretty tight on laws regarding the power output of your (max 50cc) moped. you'll need a special moped-license to ride it on public roads and be able to get an insurance.
    everything over 50 cc will be considered a 'motor' and requires a full license.
    everything over 0.7 Kw ( roughly 1 HP) is considered illegal and once caught by cops your moped gets an illegal status.
    you'll have to detune it to the max tolerated output and bring it back to the policestation were they'll measure the power output again to confirm that it is 'original' .
    although you can buy the big bore kits like barikit, malossi, polini, voca etc. everywhere and easily, you're not allowed to ride them on public roads.
    i run a 80cc malossi MHR team cil.kit, barikit crank, flowed/tuned carters, 28 m/m. mikuni, 145 mainjet. custom made pipe and a french made racing ignition that still has a lightning spool and can be run with an e-starter. it has massive torque at the low end and the blistering powerband runs 8,5k to 12,5K. i could time the ports even more and equip a racing pipe although this would surely catch some cop attention...
    ps. suggestion: stick to the tuning part mate' ..let every one be.
    why even bother about people being homeless or why should they even live like how you'ld prefer it; it ain't your life right...?

    Hey, if you would have putten similar parts on a typical gilera/ piaggio or minarelli scooter who would win? i often feel like the acceleration is better on geared mopeds rather than scooters or? What do you get the most bucks off of? scooters og geared mopeds, what is easier to work on etc?

    • @Scooterswapshop
      @Scooterswapshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That was something we were all talking about. Bang for the buck you get more out of the Sherco. You don’t have to invest $700 into the cvt. Sprockets and clutch is around $200. Bs on over range belt clutch pulley contra bell etc
      These are easier to work on. Now, they’re not difficult when your splitting the case, but everything else the geared bike is way easier. Zero fairings to take off, don’t mess with the wheel everything is at arms reach

      you'll have to run a larger main jet also and with these simple cost effective methodes your bike could easily run a solid 80km/h ( around 50 mph)
