    OK, I never usually comment on TH-cam videos, however I am going to on this one.
    12 years ago I was on a bike ride and when going up a hill my ear went (like when on a plane). I tried popping it but I couldn't shift it. I tried for days and eventually went to the doctors. I saw several specialists, had an MRI scan and even had a grommet fitted. All made little difference.
    The last doctor I saw was several years ago who said that the only thing they could do was fit a hearing aid. I refused. I always claimed that my hearing was fine before this bike ride.
    I used to get a lot of pain, lack of balance and general discomfort. I have thought on many times to just pop my ear drum to get rid of the pain.
    I came across this video last night, tried it out, and miraculously my ear has cleared. 12 years of pain and discomfort, fixed in less than 10 seconds. Everything sounds different and my balance is greatly improved.
    Thank you and I hope other people can get results like mine.

    I did this and I immediately heard a cracking sound in my ear. Moments later I had a huge amount of post nasal drip and drainage. Pressure is relieved and my awareness and alertness is improved because my head and sinuses are more open. Thanks so much Dr. Mandell. I have so many allergies and I really suffer throughout the year. This little procedure truly provided me relief.

I rejected the pills that a neurologue prescribed me 6 years ago. I thought of suicide many times. I found your video during my lunch break, tried it and on the first pull there was a very strong hurt in my ear. I continued. I did it during a few weeks after. it as been two months now and it's gone. I went back on my you tube history to find you. Thank you sooooo much for this technique. I'm sending the linked to my chiropractor who is amazed to. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Lots of Love your way. xxxx Nadine

      Thank you Dr. Mandell. You are very kind to share your knowledge. It is helping me. I already see the difference in my right ear. I will repeat it every day once to be completely cured. This will not be easy for the drug and hormone prescribers.
      It's been 10 days my right ear was clogged. Your technique was successful.
      As somebody mentioned in the comments that it had happened to her ears to be clogged when she woke up in the morning, the same had happened to me: I had woke up in the morning with my right ear clogged. The cause was: sleeping with my half dried hair after a bath, and having a fan in my bedroom, (not even blowing directly on me).
      You are a blessing.

      Oddly enough, I can breathe better after having done that. Like the other lady above says I have not breathe freely through both nostrils in at least two years.
      However I wonder what more you're supposed to do for the tinnitus and\or ringing in the ears.
      How many times a day or week are you supposed to do this to find relief for the ringing in your ears or to maintain the free flow of air through your nostrils?

    • @jakegordon4204
      @jakegordon4204 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The basis on why this works is there is that your brain is telling your ears that they are hearing something. There is a root cause somewhere, trauma, infection, blood pressure, diabetes, impacted ear wax, millions of reason why tinnitus occurs.
      The trick shown in the video "overloads" your sensors, making your brain adjust to the internal sounds that the tapping of your fingers cause. This does not CURE tinnitus, it simply helps the ringing symptoms.

    This is so helpful! I have had chronic sinus headaches, allergic rhinitis, and my right ear has always felt clogged up with fluid. I have been to doctors who have told me to just pop my ears...but that is not possible and there is no extra pressure. It’s something that is annoying but that I’ve just learned won’t go away. Many doctors I have been to have dismissed it or made it seem like it’s not that big of a deal. But I’m always congested, and it’s always a big deal to me. My Eustachian tube has cleared up quite a bit after doing this a few times. I’m happy to have a non-pharmacological method of eliminating some of this pain, pressure and constant congestion I’ve been experiencing. Thank you!

    • @aetheress
      @aetheress 7 ปีที่แล้ว +41

      Ear infections in babies comes when a lack of drainage in the Eustachian tubes causes fluid to build up and that area becomes infected. Humans instinctively/reflexively do things that bring relief to the body. We rub our temples or pinch the ridge at the top of our noses when we have a headache-those are sinus pressure points. We bang an elbow and we rub it-which releases endorphins and increases blood flow to that area quickly. Babies tugging at their ears, at very least, helps alert adults that something about their ears is bothering them. It's entirely possible they also find it soothing as it helps relieve pressure/pain there too. Nature is amazing.

    I just did all, I mean all, of your sinus videos because I don’t really don’t have drainage but a lot of swelling and they all helped so much. I’m ready to cry from relief. I’m so going on go to the chiropractor soon but this was so good for temporary relief!! My headache has reduced significantly in my head, neck, an face. I also did some of the neck stretched and stuff and I fell like I can finally sleep. Ive been sleeping with ice packs on the base of my neck for a week now and I feel so much relief. I’m so grateful I stumbled on you channel! Thank you!!

    Amazing! I have suffered from episodes of dizziness and tinnitus for many years. Doctors best guess was Meniere's Disease. Since I was born, I’ve had really bad ear infections. I would get tubes placed in and taken out. It has gotten so bad that when I was around 5 years old I lost my hearing for that day. Ever since it’s gotten worse, so worse that I wouldn’t leave my bed for the day. Sometimes I would cry because of the pain. Now that I’m 18, I’m fed up with ear infections! Today I had gotten one so bad, I told myself that I couldn’t take it anymore. So, I stumbled upon this video, well, I’m glad I did. My ENT has not tried to help figure it out at all, I've been to the ER so many times because my ears have been sore and then the vertigo. Listen.... I had ear troubles from when I was a kid. Always had ear infections, regularly sick with nose/ear/throat stuff. For the past 10 years, ever since a bad ear infection, my left ear gave me rumbling/high pitch tones/cracking sounds when it was quiet. I heard it every night when I tried to sleep. When I listened to ASMR, my left ear would pick up so much more detailed sounds, and my right sounded dull. I've told my doctors this, I finally went to a specialist this year. He said my ear canals are very tight but otherwise not much wrong.
    I tried this, in the correct way, and in 10 seconds, that all changed. Yeah my sinusses cleared a bit, and only my left ear cracked. But that rumbling, hours after pulling my ears, was gone. After 10 years of this. Gone, with one simple crack.

    I never comment. I've been having problems with my ears for roughly two years. Or we think it's my ears. I suffer from dizziness, imbalance, discomfort, and ear pain almost daily. My doctors thought it was all just anxiety and said it was nothing physical. I did this maneuver, and an ear that hadn't popped in 2 years popped, and liquid poured out. @___@
    I didn't realize that I had subpar hearing, but now everything is so loud!

    Just tried this and felt my sinuses start draining almost instantly, down my throat. I wish someone had told me about this sooner! Have suffered from vertigo pretty much daily for over 8 years, along with chronic sinus issues. I had balloon sinuplasty and septoplasty done in 2011 for the sinus problem and it helped (but recovery was painful). For the vertigo, I've seen every specialist possible, had the Epley procedure, went to a chiropractor for adjustments, nothing has helped or made it go away. I hope this works for the vertigo too. I'm 37 and it's been miserable!

    I've been told by my ENT that I have chronic bronchitis and sinusitis. My sinus's are clogged bad. The Doctor told me I had a deviated septum so she wanted to do surgery on it. I was not going to do that. Anyway, I suffer daily with coughing, spitting, choking, you name it. My voice has deepened severely. I sound like a life long smoker and I don't smoke. Anyway, I did the sinus technique here and it worked. It took a little while, about half an hour, but I am glad to say that my sinus is clear tonight. I woke up choking last night and my nose was stopped up. Not good. Thank you Doctor!!
