The doctor being the last of his kind and has lost people he cares use time to run away
What a fitting match up
Count bleck and nox is best matchup for both the doctor is nox good alt and lord drakkon is count bleck's good alt
THE DOCTOR IS IN! I feel so old, were Ten's days really that long ago.... He's quite timeless both the character and the actor.
I don't know the series has moved on since Tenant's day, and continues to grow with a good likeable prota- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I COULD NOT SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE.
Cause it’s a woman I’m 100% certain
And now with 14
As the guy who commissioned this, really loved it. My only complaint is that there is no track art, would've loved to have seen what you'd come up with (maybe the TARDIS in place of Nox's helmet), but other than that I loved this! Very tense and somber, with some great Doctor Who vibes. Thank you so much for this one. (EDIT: For some reason, I forgot that the track art is separately sponsored. My bad. Sorry.)
I don't do the track art! Those are commissioned separately usually!
@@BrandonYates Oh my god I'm an idiot. Sorry, that was my bad. I have no idea how I could've missed that! I really should've realized that on my own. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. Won't happen again :( .
Awesome, but you should have commissioned Doctor VS Rick Sanchez
@@bencrailer8483 Eh, I'm sure someone else will do that at some point.
@@bencrailer8483 that’s a good MU but Rick Sanchez may fight Doof from Phineas and Ferb
There’s also John Constantine from DC but he’s fighting Raidou
So the best opponent for the Doctor is Ozpin from RWBY
Wiz: Time Travel. A fascinating but dangerous method within the science fiction genre. We would be able to see wonders of the past, but changing yesterday in the SLIGHTEST could result in NO tomorrow.
Boomstick: Whether it’s by phone booth or flying car, some people use the power of time to either fix problems or just escape from them.
Wiz: Like David Tennant, the Tenth Doctor and one of many Time Lords.
Boomstick: And Nox, the ruthless Xelor and mad villain of Wakfu. He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick.
Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Two Shows I have not seen in like forever.. omg this was needed!!
I can just picture it, well the beginning at least:
Nox is scavenging and is trying to find a certain part that may help him get to meet his family again. However the TARDIS comes crashing down on him, luckly he telported away from it. The Doctor comes out and as he looks around he noticed that the TARDIS was damaged... They both see each other. Nox sees somthing in the TARDIS that may help him and The Doctor sees something behind Nox that will help. Doctor calls him to come out and he is not going to hurt him, but Nox only teleports and tries attacking him.
Fight!
in thought I sense no Wakfu in this man but that box he has might help me advance my tech
Indeed
The techno feel to it and somber melody is a treat to hear. Timeless job on this one!
Bro. . .I don't know why it took me so long to finally listen to this.
I knew neither one of these characters before listening to this. But after that and doing a bit of research of them (Nox especially). .I feel genuine sympathy for them.
Time travelers with a desperation of seeing loved ones again. Somber, and elegant. Tragedy and sorrow, I can feel it from the start to the very end.
I genuinely despise myself for finally taking the time to listen to this song. It's so damn beautiful. . .
Those vocals at the end gave me chills
Sweet vibe Brandon. Honestly the name "No Time Like Forever" feels like a James Bond title
Ooh, you were relatively close
Yeah, getting the Doctor in Death Battle would be tricky, because there are few, if any, characters that could compare!
What about Rick Sanchez?

Pitting nox against the doctor is essentially a death wish, as the doc is very powerful, not only that, if it starts with the "first" doc and nox uses his time powers against them, the doc will endure it and will end with 13th doc mid regen telling nox that he is fucked as nox's machine is undone by their multiple versions, including the pre "first" versions of them
Richard Walker but what about Nox's time stopping abilities and the option of the eliacube? Plus, Nox could scale to Grougal and Yugo, one is a dragon and another is a LITERAL GOD
No, Nox has this ability to siphon the ki of someone, Wakfu and Regeneration Energy are essentially both forms of Ki. Nox should be able to siphon The Doctor.
Jerome Lancashire proof?
The ability to siphon Ki won't work on the doctor, as they don't utilise Ki based martial arts, not only that but experiments done by either a very rasillon/ the other has stated that the doc has endless regens

Too many people make the mistake of thinking the doctor is helpless. Just ask the family from that one episode. Well, the ones you can still reach.
Doctor is hardcore. Like Donna said: “I think you need someone to hold you back.”
"He never raised his voice. That was the worst thing. The fury of the timelord. Then we found out why. Why this Doctor, who had fought with gods and demons, why he had run from us and hidden. He was being kind. He wrapped my father in unbreakable chains forged in the heart of a dwarf star. He tricked my mother into the event horizon of a collapsing galaxy to be imprisoned there. Forever. He still visits my sister. Once a year, every year. There she is, can you see? He trapped her in a mirror. Every mirror. If ever you look at your reflection and see movement behind just for a second. That's her. That's always her. As for me, he suspended me in time and put me to work over the fields of london as their protector. We wanted to live forever. So, the Doctor made sure thatwe did."- Brother Dearest, Family of Blood.
Its really interesting given that while the doctor is quite a capable fighter, his main skills come from talking his way around battles and tricking the enemy one way or the other. I’m assuming the doctor will get to use his tardis which if he hides in with the shields up he could stall indefinetly probably, then again if the second he exits nox should be able to blitz him hmmmmm.
Definitely shades of Nox's original theme in there, very nice.
*Sees the symbol in the middle*

More people need to watch Wakfu.
Same
Agree, but the worst of Wakfu are the first half of season 1 (at least for me), but after that is really good, I wish that the protagonist had more matches on the vs community.
But oh well, I will continue to wait for season 4 to finally start.
Hiperfelix 64 besides the ugly pageant, I actually think that the first have of the season is a nice way to kick things off.
i agree i even like the english dub (i know shocker) but i love how the first half of season one has a very video game side quest feel to it then we get to the real stuff halfway through it
slambasta to be fair, we are introduced to Skribble in the first half, who is kind of relevant to get to Oma Island in the first place. It's also (I believe, at least) important to know that there are some plot revelations in the first half (Yugo's introduction, Skribble, and Ruel's bag). I also think the first half is necessary because it's building up to something. Although The Ugly Pageant can go die.
another no cover art MU, les go
The track sounds very orchestal and somewhat technological in its own way, and it accurately caughts the intelligence of these two.
Now, Wakfu is a series I've been wanting to touch for a while and it's another Code Lyoko on my list. A Wakfu MU is something I like, and The Doctor is an interesting pic. The Doctor should win from what I know, he's damn crazy with his hax!
Most important rule of the Doctor: do not anger the Doctor.
I love this soooo much. Nox is my favorite villian of all time and I have an attachment to Doctor Who. This track is intense and the sci-fi elements to represent The Doctor is very cool with the more intense elements to fit this together very nicely. Also the title No Time Like Forever, damn that's good. The Doctor will regen over and over forever throughout all of time, as a time loard. And Nox is willing to wait forever and ever just to go back in time to save his family. Even if The Doctor stomps, even if you give Nox universal scaling. This match-up is amazing, not my favorite for Nox as that's Kurumi and The Doctor probably has something else and just got on. Still great job Brandon and thank you to the commissioner
who do you think would realistically win this?
@@BabyGodzilla-lb5vw Kinda dependent, If we're going by Death Battle rules where it has to result in a death, like a regular vs debate. Then The Doctor, and not even close.
But if in character, it's more likely that Nox can't kill The Doctor. And he escapes in the TARDIS, since Doctor is a pacifist he wouldn't kill Nox most likely, unless he needed to.
@@glitch-xega alright, thanks

Sad part is,
The doctor doesn't like violence to my knowledge...
...so the death battle would be a battle of smarts instead
yup. but he isn't completely opposed if it comes down to it, which the doctor being the doctor, it rarely does
I would have preferred to see The Doctor go up against Ozpin from RWBY but it’s still awesome to have the Doctor in Death Battle and this is quite the killer track.
Good work as always Brandon!
Hopefully we get Captain Jack Harkness and The Master in a Death Battle eventually
You can't put Jack in one.. one because he's literally that immortal. And Two... you wan't a death battle not a sex battle
The master would be far more interesting though.
I'm not sure if it was in here or not, but if this was ever a real death battle I'd actually want the 10th Doctor to lose so that it could fade out on the Ood singing him to sleep. If any DB would end on a somber note, it'd absolutely be one with The Doctor in it.
I like the look of this Nox guy. Might look into him.
Wakfu is an... interesting show. Great animation, but a lot of the normal adventure episodes leans VERY heavily kid-friendly to the point of being goofy. However, when the story actually does kick in it gets much more dramatic and intense, and has some of the best antagonists in modern animation. I recommend, just don't be turned off by some of the early episodes.
Yeah, the early episodes of Wakfu are really episodic without a real impact, they even have 2 episodes related to a soccer tournament, but after that said tournament it focus on the story and becomes like a series instead of a cartoon, kinda like book one of Avatar, also the show has 3 seasons (I heard that was supposed to be 4), and from the second half of season 1 it becomes more like a series. It's worth watching, but you have to bear the first episodes.
@@Hiper_F64 That's not a fair comparison in my mind; it's too binary. Episodes "without impact," just adventure-of-the-week type episodes, can be fine, and Avatar has many, many amazing ones. It's just that Wakfu's adventure-of-the-week episodes _aren't very good._
@@bigfatcarp93 yeah, I should have explained myself better, I just was comparing that, like Avatar, the first half of the first season is the structure of adventure of the week, and then by the second half it gets a progresion, but your right, the adventures of the week in Wakfu aren't really good, at least in the first season.
@@Hiper_F64 Fair enough, I can agree with that.
Why does this go so fucking hard?

Doctor Who is my favourite show but I am doubtful that any of it's characters will appear on Death Battle on account of most of them being close to immortal (especially the Doctor them-self). If you wanted to have the Doctor in an episode, you would have to either remove regeneration (one of the core aspects of the character), or pick a specific version of the character. Plus, only four have ever shown real combat experience, none of which was hand-to-hand combat.
Well... and then theres Captain Jack Harkness... you physically can't put him in a death battle... not just because he can't die... but because he'd turn it into a sex battle... This guy woke up in bed with his executioners.....

Another new script, this one being a OC matchup of The Doctor VS Horologium! (Doctor Who VS Mutants & Masterminds)
*The scene zooms in on a destroyed London in the 30th Century, and amidst it's ruins are The Doctor and another who's name shall not be spoken for now.*
The Doctor: This is.... unusual. I don't think the future had this much devastation in-
*Suddenly, the figure spots The Doctor from a distance. From the opposite end, Horologium stares him down as the music cuts towards **0:24**.*
The Doctor: .....Uh-
Horologium: *You.*
*Horologium suddenly rockets towards The Doctor, slamming into him like a missile and launching him through the remains of Big Ben. As the time traveler settles down, he finds that his attack wasn't all that successful as The Doctor simply gets up and brushes himself off. Snarling in anger, Horologium launches himself forward again, firing concussive time energy blasts from his palms that strike the doctor numerous times before he's dragged across the dirt and hurled to the high heavens before kicked downwards. Again, The Doctor simply gets up without a care in the world.*
The Doctor: I guess your not the talkative type?
*Horologium shoots himself down towards the doctor again, only for him to pull out the Sonic Screwdriver and disable one of Horologium's jet boots, causing him to freefall before the Doctor hits him with a hard hook and launches him backwards. Horologium summons a pair of Chronal Blades to his side and starts swiping at The Doctor. He evades most of the strikes and hits Horologium with a chop to the side, causing him to crumple as The Doctor enters the TARDIS and escapes to another time period. Horologium follows after him as the two arrive in 294 BC at a Mayan temple, frightening the native Mayan's away as The Doctor judo-throws Horologium to the ground, and he responds with a flip-kick to the skull. Horologium then creates a lasso of time energy that ensnares The Doctor's wrist, and begins to make it decay at an accelerated rate. He whips out his Sonic Screwdriver a second time and uses it to disintegrate the lasso before he throws his rotting hand at Horologium, who blocks it but gets a fist upside the jaw for his troubles. Horologium snaps his head down and grabs The Doctor, then teleports high into the sky before throwing him down through the temple and into the dirt. However, the earth appears to start collapsing as The Doctor's true nature as a Timelord begins to be revealed.*
The Doctor: This fight of ours has gone on for long enough, i'm putting and end to it here and now.
*The Doctor fires another blast from his Sonic Screwdriver, knocking Horologium down as he slowly walks towards him.*
The Doctor: You may think i'm another ordinary human, but you couldn't possibly be any more wrong than that. I'm the doctor, and you're history.
Horologium: ....Not quite!
*Horologium suddenly creates a thin blade of chronokinetic energy and fires it through the doctor's chest, causing him to undergo Regeneration. However, as he is undergoing said Regeneration, Horologium charges up a time energy beam.*
Horologium: *DIE ONE THOUSAND DEATHS!*
*Horologium fires the beam dead-center into The Doctor, who screams as his regenerative properties are pushed to the limits. His body physically and mentally degrades as he flashes between each incarnation of himself since his conception before vanishing in a burst of blueish-yellow light. The Doctor has, as of now, effectively been erased from the timeline of all history. As the time traveler stands back up, he finds himself in London during early 2020, and simply disappears to another point in time afterwards.*
Couldn't The Doctor use his Sonic Screwdriver to deactivate all of Horologium's weapons and gadgets, like he did with his jet boots here? All it takes is one scan.
Also, when did The Doctor become a fist-fighter?
What is Mutants and Masterminds?

Hope you do one for Yugo vs Aladdin (Wakfu vs Magi)
Shendu vs aku
I’m all up for seeing The Doctor in a death battle. So what are the connections?
Time travel
They’re both time travelers who wish to find a way to correct their past mistakes in Nox’s case. And run from their mistakes in the Doctor’s case.
- Time Travelers from races of beings that can control, manipulate and build technology around time (Xelors/Timelords)
- Both have lost loved ones in the past (The Doctor losing their people/Nox losing his family). Turning them into who they are now, tragic, old men.
- Both time travel and face their problems differently (The Doctor running from their problems/Nox running towards them).
- One prefers to not mess with time, while the other wants to and knows it changes nothing but their own past.
I Wonder how this fight would do in Live-Action since the doctor is from a live action show.
I think if this was a live action battle they would need an entire film studio in order to match the grand scale and creativity of the shows.
It would probably take them a whole year to shoot, plus they would need a bigger budget for set pieces such as landscapes, the TARDIS and the time vortex.

Watch with the original French dub though, not the english one as it is bad
Can you even kill the doctor?
Yeah you can just kill the regeneration where they give him 30 regenerations this time
Technically yes, the easiest way ti be keep attacking him while he’s regenerating. you’re probably not gonna though.
If you manage to kill him while he is regenerating then technically yes, but good luck on that and even if you do manage to kill him, timelords have the capability to outright resurrect their dead. Death is no different than the common cold to them.

@@thespiderpatriot3835 yeah that's before regeneration but in the new ones that has gone
Obviouslya mismatch fight but onto the song. Can't go wrong with either of the source materials but I found the track to be stuck with what I'd almost call filler ticks over large swaths between the 'real' musical portions. Not a big fan this time.
music isn't more "real" when it's more intense. These are two thoughtful, complex characters and the doctor in particular is always trying to resolve issues through dialogue and de-escalate. a death battle with him would be very dialogue heavy.
@@BrandonYates Agreed, The Doctor in any incarnation is a thoughtful problem solver and while Doctor Who has some intense soundtracks such as "I am The Doctor" lots of the best tracks during pivotal moments in the show in my opinion are the more emotional tracks such as "The Shepherd's Boy".
@@BrandonYates I feel that if The Doctor were ever in Death Battle (which is WAY long overdue) just use one incarnation (the Tenth obviously because he’s awesome) but scale that incarnation to all the other incarnations in the show’s canon.
I think what’s stopping the Doctor from being in Death Battle is not his mostly non-violent nature but rather the amount of source material he has and whether or not it’s canon. There’s the main TV show, the Big Finish audio
stories, books and comics to gain a lot of knowledge from.
However, despite his non-violent nature at first he does have a lot of combat experience. He fought in the Time War between the Time Lords and the Daleks for hundreds of years and thanks to his Third Incarnation (as played by Jon Pertwee) he knows four types of universal martial arts such as Venusian Aikido, Martian Karate, Amtorian jiu-jitsu and Saturnian kung-fu.

Not including 13 because that's when someone made the retarded decision to let Chris Chibnal take the wheel and he ruined Doctor who a series running for over 50 years so unless 13's seasons are retconned the show is done for in the long run same with star wars unfortunately.
Exactly. He may not be “combat” focussed. But he has the cunning of a true immortal. The doctor is a master of the mechanics of the universe, and the second he realizes what Wakfu is, it’s over for Nox.
