I don't know what's scarier. SCP-682 adapting to and replicating the Doomsday Virus, or Doomsday evolving to become strong enough to kill SCP-682, then unleashing that power on the rest of the universe.
Funnily enough that’s the whole reason the SCP foundation hasn’t used more extreme methods to attempt to kill 682 because that exact reason if 682 were able to adapt and use whatever thing of such a destructive nature than the entire world if not, the universe is dead

Well, if it's "reduce to a group of individual cells in a pile of goo" to win, Doomsday probably would. 682 was reduced to that at least once; they theorize he regenerated from cells rinsed off 173 and into the sewer system.

Although it is heavily implied that he is purely fuelled by malice, hate and similar emotions, (hate is pretty much explicit, the others are more vague), if those concepts are ceased then he dies
Not gonna lie, I generally like the idea behind this battle a lot but the problem with SCPs is that they aren't in a format where their power or abilities can't be easily observed like a comic book, a manga, cartoon or anime, etc. Still, if there was gonna be any SCP that would most likely make it into death battle it would be 682 and I honestly can't think of a better combatant than Doomsday. The song itself isn't what I was expecting, I was thinking it was going to be something more chaotic and violent. Yet, and this might be just me, the track sounds a bit clinical, clean, and synthetic. At first, I didn't know how to think about it but then I came to a thought: the music is from the POV of the SCP Foundation observing 682 combat a creature of equal power and recording their findings. The anger, the chaos, the violence is there but being observed and studied from a cold, detached viewpoint.
The SCP universe is also not a studio or a industry owned by someone, it is just a community project that various people can create and add characters in their own details, and the website can also be edited by anyone. So finding something that is completely canonical or powerset on the SCPs is almost impossible.

@@King-ze2kt the SCP-682 canon includes all outliers as his base abilities. He adapts permanently. And he has a bullshit true form that would eventually activate and destroy Doomsday’s soul, body, mind, and everything else. Eventually meaning about a few trillion years later.
I don't think the track really fits either character. You don't get a sense of rage or imagine cosmic level destruction while listening to it. In fact it almost sounds calm.

@@versus22REALLY I actually have a scene in my head that during the fight animation the sun and moon would rapidly orbit the earth until the sun becomes a red giant, and then it will be shown they're *STILL* at it. Would emphasize their unkillableness as well as being a reference to an SCP-682 tale known as "the end of all but me".
Actually 682 wins because of his infinite adaptive nature. He does not need to die to adapt. He has a true form more powerful than Darkseids, and in a few cannons has survived attacks that destroy souls, timelines, reality destruction and creation, and the infinite void. And he came back a few days later completely immune.
How I think the battle would start: Doomsday is rampaging through an SCP Site, killing pretty much everything it sees. Things are getting desperate, so the 05 Council releases SCP-682 in a last ditch attempt to stop Doomsday. 682 steps out of its chamber, kills the remaining guards, and Doomsday and 682 lock eyes. 682 snarls. “Disgusting.” Doomsday responds by roaring, and they charge at each other. FIGHT! Thanks to @bluntsouthernanger for an idea on how the battle starts! I also have to credit @Hydrathermal for an idea on the fight itself: Nearing the climax of the fight, the camera would show the sun and moon rapidly orbiting the Earth, with the sun eventually becoming a red giant, and 682 and Doomsday would STILL be fighting.
If I were to make up a scenario I would have Doomsday kill 079 in the process of his destruction. It'd give us a extra pissed off 682 and more of a reason to fight Doomsday.

Constant adaptation to the point of near invincibility. I thought Death Battles had to actually end with a death.... Nice work Yates there's a consistent terror in the track which also seems to be morbidly contemplating the fight, how fitting for the SCP foundation.

Man I can hear the Secret Lab/Containment Breach OST inspiration here. I had no clue how you were going to give an SCP a "sound" so to speak but this is really incredible.
How I think the battle would beginning: A member of the SCP Foundation starts a new experimentation log in a recording device, basically stating how the foundation was recently contacted by Project Cadmus. They have been having trouble destroying, and even containing, their last acquisition that seems to have similar characteristics as SCP-682. The member of the foundation states that the SCP Foundation and Project Cadmus had agreed to bring Cadmus's subject to the foundation's installations with the purpose of finally destroying either of the test subjects in this experiment. While he says all of this, a Project Cadmus' truck has arrived at the facilities, Class-D personnel along with Cadmus' personnel start to transport Doomsday to SCP-682's cell. Professional members of Project Cadmus arrive in the observation room almost at the same time that Doomsday is set in front of SCP-682. Doomsday releases from his containment suit and kills the Class-D personnel in the room in the process, he grows at SCP-682 and he simply replies "It's disgusting". The member of the SCP Foundation ends his experimentation log saying "This experiment promise to be very... interesting" The fight has started.
Ending: 682 and Doomsday are knocked into the Garden of Eden which contains the Tree of Knowledge. Doomsday starts to overwhelm 682. “I’ve had enough, you son of a bitch...!” He proceeds to break the seal 343 had on his true form, and reveals it. Doomsday steps away in confusion. The Hard to Destroy Reptile slams The Ultimate Lifeform through the Garden and into the Tree of Knowledge. Doomsday gets out of his grasp, rushing towards 682’s true form. They then clash, as 682 appears in his avatar state. He then looks around as he sees he is in Gate B, before declaring Doomsday as a “Mindless, pathetic beast.” before Superman arrives on the scene along with SCP-105. “Alright, let’s get you back in your cell.” *K.O!* Boomstick: Wait a minute, what? How did Doomsday, the one who LITERALLY killed Superman, die to some crocodile? Explain to me, Wiz!
Something that won't die VS Something that refuses to stay dead. I wouldn't want to be the guys working for Death Battle having to try to figure out how this fight would go down if this ever turns into an actual episode.
I think 682 would take it. Cause whilst Doomsday has needed to die in order to become immune to what killed him, often taking days or years, 682 survived all of his extermination attempts on the fly, showing that he has the overall better survivability. Not to mention he's much, much smarter than Doomsday and could likely figure out a new way to kill him.

A very techno and somewhat fear inducing track. You get a feel for these two that whatever you do to stop them, there's no hope. They can never go away no matter how much you try. Don't run, don't hide, don't try, cause no matter what, they will always come after you.
How it starts Doomsday is on a rampage in metropolis, no superheroes to be found. Several black helicopters bearing the scp logo fly onto the scene. Agent 1: "bright, are you sure this will work?" Dr bright steps forward, holding a bucket of popcorn: "I have no idea, but it'll sure be fun to watch!" Doomsday notices the helicopters, picks up a car, and throws it at one. Agent 2: "hes found us, bring in 682!" A third helicopter flies in, carrying a large semitransparent tank full of a greenish fluid. Doomsday throws another car and destroys the third helicopter, causing the tank to fall and break on the ground. The green liquid disperses, partially dissolving the ground around it. In the middle of this green puddle, scp 682 stands up and shakes some of the acid off his head. Doomsday and 682 lock eyes, roar at each other, and charge. Dr bright gestures to the scp agent next to him in the helicopter: "my money's on the tall grey guy, what about you?" The agent just stares on in horror as the two monsters collide
Termination log unsuccessfull after 800 hours of battle doomsday was no where to be found when the dust settled while 682 rested with 99 percent of its body mass destroyed termination attempt failed
Two beings of absolute terror and destruction, an immovable object meets an unstoppable force, two beasts grit to the teeth refusing die. This fight would be a treat.

His true form is stronger than Darkseids true form, and he got clapped by Doomsday. This comes down to “who has more reality breaking feats than transcend infinity and time, and has killed more Eldrich gods?”.
Darkseid can't be killed the same way twice, and being beaten to death, stabbed, torn apart, and eaten was done already. And even if SCP-682 does kill him, he'll likely return and the same method won't work again. And 682 is 682. A never ending battle really, and they would NOT decide to work together ever XD.

Ok I've listened to this a few times and I can literally picture the whole fight in my head already, how it would go, and what would happen at what point in the track Startup: Doomsday is the latest SCP in the Foundation, and they've determined he might be able to destroy SCP-682, they've set up a way for the battle to be monitored by a floating drone equipped with a timer that will start when Doomsday and SCP-682 begin their epic battle, and stop once the confrontation ends, SCP-682 is brought in as planned, however Doomsday is resisting containment, eventually breaks free, and kills the D-Class subjects used to lure him towards where 682 is waiting, he kills the last one before turning around an spotting 682, that's when "Immovable Object" Ques 0:00 Doomsday and SCP-682 look at each other and prepare to battle *SCP-682: What is this disgusting creature? Another disposable abomination?* *Doomsday: No, I'm you're Doom!* Doomsday and SCP-682 both roar, they charge at each other, the timer starts counting, and the fight begins 0:10 They clash and begin violently attacking one another, all the while their fight is always being monitored by the drone and there is a timer being displayed for how long the fight lasts (use your imagination on what is happening, and who's besting the other, cause I'm not sitting here describing every little detail) 1:10 At this point they're getting out of control and are causing too much damage, so the Foundation are told to intervene and stop them, however they're too far locked in combat to stop and the Foundation can't get close without they themselves getting harmed, Doomsday and 682 are now causing the place to crumble and fall apart, and people (both important and expendable) are getting caught in the crossfire, however the drone is still monitoring the fight, which at this point has been going on for only a few minutes 1:30 Doomsday and 682 break out of the Foundation and take the fight outside, they've caused more collateral damage than any other attempt to destroy 682 the Foundation made previously, and Doomsday and 682 are all the while becoming more and more immune to each other's attacks, only making each other stronger, the drone now reads that the fight has been going on for close to an hour, then moves onto several as the fight continues 1:40 At this point Doomsday grabs SCP-682 and throws him to the floor on his back, and proceeds to punch him repeatedly, hard enough to start tunnelling his way through the Earth, they pass though the core and back out on the other side of the Planet, to where the drone cannot follow them, and even gets damaged and rendered flightless, but the timer still records that their fight has lasted just over a day 1:50 When they pop out the other side, time slows down and starts flashing by, the timer reads that the fight has gone on for several weeks, with neither Doomsday nor SCP-682 willing to give up, we see flashes of them pause in frame beating each other up with whatever they have within their Arsenal, hoping that something, SOMETHING, will finally finish the other off, all the while they're destroying everything in their path, from people, to houses, to towns, to cities, to counties, to countries, to entire continents, until... 2:11 ...there's nothing left, the entire world is now in ruin, the fight has gone on for nearly a month, and both Doomsday and 682 have now become immune to nearly everything that each other have to offer, and they're getting angry, Doomsday is glowing and burning with a red heated aura around him, SCP-682 is growing tired, and now sees that he has destroyed nearly every living thing on the planet, all but one, Doomsday 2:31 Doomsday explodes his energy and goes all out, so powerful at this point that he's disintegrating the remains structures around them, boiling the ocean and incinerating what little life there is left all just by walking around, Doomsday gets the upper hand on SCP-682, who then gets slammed to the ground and Doomsday fires a beam at him, trying to completely erase him, but something happens in that dire moment 2:54 SCP-682 has now unleashed his true form and regained his strength, the fight continues, and the two clash once again and start destroying not just the ground around them, but the entire planet explodes, and then Space, Time, Gravity, Reality, Existence around them starts to disappear 3:17 The timer finally stops, and at the end of the battle... ...well, that would insinuate that I actually knew who would win the fight, or if there even is a winner or a loser, which I don't, and even if I did, that would be telling, wouldn't it?
If doomsday wins:the whole universe dissapears as a spiked creature surfaces with the reptile's head which he crushes with a victory roar If 682 wins:the reptile surfaces with not a single remnants of doomsday left floating in the empty void where nothing exists until he hears a familiar demonic voice
This song is perfect, It has that feel of a grand epic battle... but it roars of a hopeless apocalypse none shall survive... only the two fighting shall be left in the end
I mean you're not entirely wrong do you say has traded blows with Superman will 682 at his maximum in his base form has only ripped off renforced steel doors durability is pretty equal to say half survived attacks that would normally kill them but they just survived and the 682 does have adaptability and regeneration advantage only with intelligence and well plot manipulation doomsday has to survive to plot manipulation so 682 blows Doomsday's feats out of the water
If this happened, it would probably come down to the fine print. Doomsday still dies to whatever it is that kills him, but 682 stays alive and kicking.
This is a cool matchup, but understanding the essence of each character gives us a really clear winner. With a couple of "there is no canon" exceptions in tales and one SCP file that is good enough I won't complain, 682's thing is not dying. It adapts to prevent its death before it dies. Doomsday dies, but always comes back immune to what killed him-he adapts to prevent future deaths when he dies. Note that one of them dies and the other does not. 682 just has to prevent Doomsday's return to life after killing him. And even if Doomsday broke 682's immortality and killed it, 682 copies the abilities of what it interacts with as well as adapting to survive-see what happened when it was exposed to SCP-999. So 682 would adapt to use Doomsday's ability and come back to life even if Doomsday killed it. So 682 would in either situation be much better equipped to keep Doomsday from coming back again than Doomsday would be equipped to kill 682 AND prevent it from returning again. So 682 has way better odds, hands down. And with enough time, 682 would flat-out copy everything Doomsday can do and add more onto it. A number x can never be greater than x + 1 no matter how big it gets.
There are 2 stories on the SCP website where it mentions 682 dies The first one is about how 173 started making clones of itself and overran the earth and the guy telling it mentioned how he took pleasure in knowing that the clones tore 682 apart. The second one is about the dead universe where the robot they sent discovered 682’s corpse. So he can die just not as much as Doomsday has.
@@bradyhoneycutt3564the 173 story is no longer considered canon and the one where everything dies happens in a different universe (IE: different 682, since he is not a universal constant). In that universe 682 may not have had as good regenerative traits as main universe 682 does.
@@owenharry128 682 is a universal constant though, as shown in SCP-6820 where the things that build the concept of 682 are contained within the noosphere, the collection of ALL human thought outside the individual universe. 682 still wins regardless though, simply because 6820 shows that it can continue to exist without it's body, and that it could likely copy doomsday's ability of self-ressurection if it WERE to die somehow, in addition to feats such as rewriting plot itself or tanking the attack potency of the gate guardian which I don't think doomsday can remotely compare to.
Holy hell, this is amazing! Not that that's surprising considering the music comes from you, but still! You did really great making it feel like a fitting song for both of these absolute *monsters* - which is even more impressive considering that 682 and the SCP Foundation don't exactly have official themes. Ending Idea: Doomsday, tired and worn, is forced to the ground by a mangled claw of a heavily mutated 682. Doomsday: “WHY?! WHY CAN’T I KILL YOU?” The lizard’s now giant head stares down. SCP-682: “Your weak, your disgusting... *And no matter how much they try, you can NEVER. BE. ME.*” SCP-682 proceeds to tear Doomsday into a fine red mist as well as his soul before roaring in the ruins of the earth.
@@hadouradiance3566 to be fair, I was thinking about something savage and flashy like what we saw in say Hulk v. Doomsday or a lot of other SFM fights. I don’t think Doomsday could actually kill Hulk with a spike through the head or Raiden could dice Wolverine to death, but as a Death it’d be more cinematic then the actual way I’d think he’d win.
I can only imagine that Wiz and Boomstick broke into The SCP foundation to get 682’s information And then the episode ends with the studio getting stormed.
Considering how utterly bullshit DC and SCP Foundation can get at times I'll be shocked if this doesn't end in the multiverse or universe getting destroyed. Because we all know Doomsday isn't going down without a fight.
SCPs would be a pain to use in Death Battle since they have no actual canon, and especially for 682 there's a whole bunch of wildly different interpretations (including one where it's straight-up unkillable, and another one where it gets killed by a bunch of 173 clones). So I have my doubts that any of them will be used... But dammit I want it to happen.

@@Running9750 Doomsday didn't really beat True Darkseid at least not in his standard self. You see what you're referring to is when Doomsday got increased in size and power through a boomtube to better fit in apokalypse. So no Doomsday didn't beat true Darkseid through normal circumstances.
@@brandonnix7278 Either way it's much more impressive than SCPs own inconsistent feats which ranges from high end to low end rapidly. "A Boom Tube is a slang expression for an extra-dimensional point-to-point travel portal opened by a Mother Box used primarily by the New Gods of New Genesis and Apokolips" Plus the two have fought in the past, and the majority of victories was that Doonsday came out on top. And he even was resistant against Darkseid's most haxxier properties like the Anti-Life Equation and Omega Beams that can break holes in reality and BFR opponents into never ending death cycles.

This is one of my 5 favorite SCP matchups, with my other 4 favorites being SCP-173 vs Weeping Angel (SCP vs Dr Who), The Rake vs SCP-096 (Creepypasta vs SCP), Herobrine vs SCP-4335 (Creepypasta vs SCP), and Phantom vs SCP-966 (Minecraft vs SCP). All 5 of those I really like. Sucks to see SCP got basically deconfirmed, because there are some legitimately fascinating matchups for the verse. As for this: I'd imagine the fight starts with Doomsday crashing into or breaking into a facility and going after SCP-053. 682 breaches containment and goes to save her. Doomsday challenges him, and they battle it out. Good start and would be pretty in character for them both depending on what's used, it could be close, but more often than not 682 wins, so 682 FTW (He's one of my favorites because of how funny the foundation's desperation to kill him can get. I've read that multiple times and legitimately said aloud "What The Actual Fuck!?" to some of those).
If Doomsday legitimately tried to kill 053, Doomsday would die immediately and would need to wait for his next regeneration for the fight to actually begin. 079 on the other hand...
*The battle ends on a ruined earth as 682 fully absorbs Doomsday and the two merge into a singular entity. A monster worse than anything the Dark Multiverse can ever conjure up. Truly unkilliabe this new life form will ravage and conquer all that was, is or ever will be.*
And then Norris and Segata Sanshiro burst into existence, continuing their apocalyptic stalemate, ravage the surface of the ruined Earth and pop this new unkillable monster like a zit as an unintended side-effect before taking their fight into yet another plane of existence.
-Doomsday breaks into the facility and into 053's cell, making her cry -682 hears this and breaks out of his cell and tackles Doomsday then yelling "LEAVE HER ALONE" "FIGHT!"
Then he respawns, also, he could enter through that hole SCP. He could enter. Dead. But as the researchers and whatnot try to analyse him. He reanimates, causing severe damage and a containment breach.
*[end of the fight]* Doomsday stands over the now mangled corpse of 682. Their fight causing the planet to become lifeless husk of it's former self. But suddenly, 682 springs back to life, biting into Doomsday and pushing him away as they both let out a rage filled roar. Suddenly, Doomsday begins to adapt once again, except it's not his strength or resistance that's growing. His perception of reality is. Soon, a white void envelopes the area. 682 is now nowhere to be seen. Doomsday looks around before a tear through reality opens up before him, and through the tear, a single eye opens. Staring directly at Doomsday as the white void breaks apart, revealing the nearly incomprehensible cosmic entity. Doomsday stares up at the unknowable entity, now having the perception and intelligence to see 682's true form. He charges at it before throwing a punch. But it's ineffective. Slowly, the entity looks down at 682, a strange light gleaming around it as Doomsday suddenly lets out a roar of pain. Reality begins to bend around Doomsday. As it does, several timelines begin to appear, showing the same outcome. Doomsday getting erased from everything, time, space, reality, conception. Its roar begins to glitch out before he falls silent, Doomsday is now gone without a trace. The entity known as scp 682-1 continued to stare down where Doomsday once was before staring directly at the camera before bellowing. "Pathetic."
Hear me out. When anyone else hears this song, do they also get the same vibe as madness envenom from venom vs Crona? Idk why, I get the same sort of swing from it and this. Neither are all that violent and chaotic sounding, but instead are more imposing and formidable sounding, and you know what? *I fucking dig it.*
As much as I wanna see this happen, I'm not sure how DEATH BATTLE is gonna incorporate SCP Foundation into one of their episodes since the fans of the site gives different looks and abilities to the SCPs.
They could probably pull a Ninja Turtles on this one (specifically what they did for Leo in Leonardo vs The Red Ranger) Applying abilities and feats from all over, as long as it makes sense for the character

This battle... oh boy, where do I begin. First off, I love the music. Really incapsulates the anomalous nature of 682, while keeping the monstrous feel both of them have. Second, I think this is the greatest possible MU for SCP on Death Battle (minus maybe Chaos King VS Scarlet King, but that's a discussion for another day). As for who I'd think would win, it'd come down to who outlasts the other more. Because really? Neither can *truly* permanently kill the other. Doomsday is known as the "Monster Who Killed Superman" for a reason, and so is for SCP-682 for being called the "Hard-to-Destroy Reptile". But, who takes the W most times? Well, that comes down to what versions of these guys we're using. In extended lore, SCP-682 can cause the destruction of the universe and its time upon his "death". Meanwhile, Doomsday can fight on par with Superman, who has shown many Universal feats. Though, that's without bringing up True Form 682, who scales to the Scarlet King roughly, who can cause the entire SCP multiverse (which is larger than countably infinite in size) to be cast into chaos. So, if we do include True Form 682, everyone's favorite unkillable reptile will be the victor here. Otherwise, I'd say Doomsday takes it.
You bring up great points! Though I've seen people debunk Superman's strength to being outliers, though I wouldn't oppose any of your points. I personally think SCP-682 wins, but otherwise it's a match where I don't really mind who wins, since that's what makes this match up so interesting. Wiz: All that is scary enough, but perhaps the most terrifying thing about him, and the most likely reason why so many fear it, is that 682 isn't indestructible, it's adaptable.

Boomstick: From being hit by a sowrd with flames hotter than the sun, to having every bone in his body snapped, to getting 85% of its body destroyed in a 27 hour battle against 096, 682 has taken it all and gets back up to kill some more. Like I said, indestructible. But luckily for everyone, he was found by the SCP foundation and brought into containment where he was classified as a Keter class anomaly. Wiz: Keter class anomalies are creatures that are difficult to contain, either due to certain abilities or just being outright difficult to contain. With his adaptability and hatred for humanity, the foundation knew they had to kill it. But as you can probably already guess, the foundation had a slight problem. Boomstick: He just wouldn't die! Fire, lasers, liquid nitrogen, nuclear fusion, even abilities from other anomalies just made the reptile stronger. He is literally the embodiment of the saying "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger".
@Micheal indeed. Wiz: Also, despite what most believe, it's important to remember that 682 is the "hard" to destroy reptile, not the "impossible" to destroy reptile. Sure, it's survived numerous termination attempts, but it has been killed in other timeliness, though, only under specific circumstances that, more often than not, end in an XK class "end of the world" scenario. Boomstick: Like when he got ganged up on by an entire army of 173s or when 2935, O'death was brought out of its world and into our own. So, yeah it's possible to kill 682, but you'll most likely die in the process. But hey, more often than not, he can just regenerate back to normal, right. Wiz: Well, yes but his regenerative abilities do take time to fully heal him, so enough external damage can incapacitate him, and his healing can be slowed down by continuous damage. Boomstick: That's why the foundation contains him by putting him in a tank of acid, so that he's constantly regenerating and unable to reach his full potential. I already heard this in Grandbull's channel and all I can say is that I love the mystery vibe that the song gives. To be honest, making a track for an SCP is hard, since SCP does not have many things to base off into. I love the MU a lot, and I am very happy that this became popular, since I love SCP, and this MU as a whole impulsed SCP into the VS Community, and I love that. 682 wins, and that is just a + for the MU as a whole. A DC L to Non-Marvel that at the same time, is an SCP W, like come on man!

I don't care how broken Doomsday is, he can still die, right? But the point of 682 is that it can't. As far as I remember, Doomsday needs to die to something to become immune to it. 682 on the other hand, rapidly changes to suit the situation, and because of how SCP works, he can basically be or do anything.
The point of SCP 682 is that it's Hard to Kill. Never has it stated that it can never die. Mind you SCPs are inconsistent with their feats and most of the wanked stuff they pull are mere fanfics. Not only that but there was a time where 682 adapted to a Star level Solar Flare from another SCP a d was clapped afterwards. Plus 682 has died before. And it resulted in a Universe ending. Something Doomsday is more akin to due to fighting True Darkseid who can casually survive the destruction of a Multiverse and Crisis Resets.
You know, if this would happen, I can imagine the fight taking place after Hulk Vs Doomsday, with Doomsday rampaging across the world, kicking the asses of the Justice League with Superman not having arrived yet, and the Foundation decides to screw it and drops out 682 to stop Doomsday, hoping that A, if 682 wins, he may be damaged enough that he'll be weak enough to be put back in containment, B if Doomsday wins, 682 would be dead and Doomsday would be damaged enough that Superman would be able to finish it with hopefully less casualties. Just imagining so no idea if my idea for how this would start would how It would actually happen.
Alarms. Loud beeping alarms sounding throughout the entire facility. The ground shaking as containment chambers are broken by some THING. The foundation has seen many things but this one was... unique. A being with enough power to rival many of the SCPs that were known about. And it was rampaging through an important facility, going towards one of the most dangerous anomalies that the foundation had "secured". Suddenly, more alarms start going off. Special alarms, alerting to a specific containment cell being broken out of. Two anomalies were now rampaging through the facility, and both were heading right for each other. Breaking through one of the thick Metal walls of the heavy containment zone this new anomaly had come face to face with what it was searching for. The large grey creature almost toward over what it was after, but it's target didnt back down. The creature let out a loud, violent roar A scream of brutal intent. 682 stared down this monster, this... Doomsday unphased by what it assumed was a display of intimidation. It was unimpressed with all of what it saw only saying three disdain filled words to the Doomsday. "You are... Disgusting"
@Alastor Stickman has potential to be a Universal character at his peak, Steve is at best mountain level, and it doesn't help that Stickman has more futuristic and helpful equipment, and if we take the mistake factor out of the Stickman games, it is very likely Stickman can just erase steve from equipment, so in reality, this is a stomp for Stickman no matter how you look at it.

Even if we involved Creative Steve, Stickman has equipment in his arsenal capable of deleting an entire universe, as well as the ability to freeze time temporarily with the NRG drink if we're going full composite mode here. Stickman just has too much high tech equipment and if all else fails, he always has divide by 0 to finish steve off. Yes, it is very likely Steve could recreate worlds, but he is still too slow to even consider keeping up with a Massively Hypersonic+ to low ftl Henry Stickman.
Dr. Bright is not allowed to bring unkillable genetic creations from alternate dimensions to pit in a fight against SCP-682. Even if they might win. Especially if they might win. We don't need something worse than SCP-682 rampaging about. No, not even if you're allowed to guest star on a internet series that specializes in this sort of thing.

Well, if it's "reduce to a group of individual cells in a pile of goo" to win, Doomsday probably would. 682 was reduced to that at least once; they theorize he regenerated from cells rinsed off 173 and into the sewer system.
Wasn’t he thrown into a pit that makes stuff not exist anymore and had to exist in a place where the concept of life (or rather not dead) was wiped from all of reality in order to die?
Although it is heavily implied that he is purely fuelled by malice, hate and similar emotions, (hate is pretty much explicit, the others are more vague), if those concepts are ceased then he dies
Or you know, the concept of not being dead no longer applies to all of reality
Not gonna lie, I generally like the idea behind this battle a lot but the problem with SCPs is that they aren't in a format where their power or abilities can't be easily observed like a comic book, a manga, cartoon or anime, etc. Still, if there was gonna be any SCP that would most likely make it into death battle it would be 682 and I honestly can't think of a better combatant than Doomsday.
The song itself isn't what I was expecting, I was thinking it was going to be something more chaotic and violent. Yet, and this might be just me, the track sounds a bit clinical, clean, and synthetic.
At first, I didn't know how to think about it but then I came to a thought: the music is from the POV of the SCP Foundation observing 682 combat a creature of equal power and recording their findings. The anger, the chaos, the violence is there but being observed and studied from a cold, detached viewpoint.

That's why SCP 2000 exists.
The SCP universe is also not a studio or a industry owned by someone, it is just a community project that various people can create and add characters in their own details, and the website can also be edited by anyone. So finding something that is completely canonical or powerset on the SCPs is almost impossible.

I don't think the track really fits either character. You don't get a sense of rage or imagine cosmic level destruction while listening to it. In fact it almost sounds calm.

Would emphasize their unkillableness as well as being a reference to an SCP-682 tale known as "the end of all but me".
Actually 682 wins because of his infinite adaptive nature. He does not need to die to adapt. He has a true form more powerful than Darkseids, and in a few cannons has survived attacks that destroy souls, timelines, reality destruction and creation, and the infinite void. And he came back a few days later completely immune.

How I think the battle would start:
Doomsday is rampaging through an SCP Site, killing pretty much everything it sees. Things are getting desperate, so the 05 Council releases SCP-682 in a last ditch attempt to stop Doomsday. 682 steps out of its chamber, kills the remaining guards, and Doomsday and 682 lock eyes. 682 snarls. “Disgusting.” Doomsday responds by roaring, and they charge at each other.

I also have to credit @Hydrathermal for an idea on the fight itself: Nearing the climax of the fight, the camera would show the sun and moon rapidly orbiting the Earth, with the sun eventually becoming a red giant, and 682 and Doomsday would STILL be fighting.
If I were to make up a scenario I would have Doomsday kill 079 in the process of his destruction. It'd give us a extra pissed off 682 and more of a reason to fight Doomsday.

Man I can hear the Secret Lab/Containment Breach OST inspiration here. I had no clue how you were going to give an SCP a "sound" so to speak but this is really incredible.
How I think the battle would beginning:
A member of the SCP Foundation starts a new experimentation log in a recording device, basically stating how the foundation was recently contacted by Project Cadmus. They have been having trouble destroying, and even containing, their last acquisition that seems to have similar characteristics as SCP-682. The member of the foundation states that the SCP Foundation and Project Cadmus had agreed to bring Cadmus's subject to the foundation's installations with the purpose of finally destroying either of the test subjects in this experiment.
While he says all of this, a Project Cadmus' truck has arrived at the facilities, Class-D personnel along with Cadmus' personnel start to transport Doomsday to SCP-682's cell.
Professional members of Project Cadmus arrive in the observation room almost at the same time that Doomsday is set in front of SCP-682.
Doomsday releases from his containment suit and kills the Class-D personnel in the room in the process, he grows at SCP-682 and he simply replies "It's disgusting".
The member of the SCP Foundation ends his experimentation log saying "This experiment promise to be very... interesting"
The fight has started.
Ending:
682 and Doomsday are knocked into the Garden of Eden which contains the Tree of Knowledge. Doomsday starts to overwhelm 682.
“I’ve had enough, you son of a bitch...!”
He proceeds to break the seal 343 had on his true form, and reveals it. Doomsday steps away in confusion. The Hard to Destroy Reptile slams The Ultimate Lifeform through the Garden and into the Tree of Knowledge. Doomsday gets out of his grasp, rushing towards 682’s true form. They then clash, as 682 appears in his avatar state. He then looks around as he sees he is in Gate B, before declaring Doomsday as a “Mindless, pathetic beast.” before Superman arrives on the scene along with SCP-105.
“Alright, let’s get you back in your cell.”

Cause whilst Doomsday has needed to die in order to become immune to what killed him, often taking days or years, 682 survived all of his extermination attempts on the fly, showing that he has the overall better survivability. Not to mention he's much, much smarter than Doomsday and could likely figure out a new way to kill him.

Several black helicopters bearing the scp logo fly onto the scene.

Dr bright steps forward, holding a bucket of popcorn: "I have no idea, but it'll sure be fun to watch!"
Doomsday notices the helicopters, picks up a car, and throws it at one.
Agent 2: "hes found us, bring in 682!"
A third helicopter flies in, carrying a large semitransparent tank full of a greenish fluid.
Doomsday throws another car and destroys the third helicopter, causing the tank to fall and break on the ground. The green liquid disperses, partially dissolving the ground around it. In the middle of this green puddle, scp 682 stands up and shakes some of the acid off his head. Doomsday and 682 lock eyes, roar at each other, and charge.
Dr bright gestures to the scp agent next to him in the helicopter: "my money's on the tall grey guy, what about you?"
The agent just stares on in horror as the two monsters collide
Clef: "Nah, I don't this'll work, rooting for the crocodile."

His true form is stronger than Darkseids true form, and he got clapped by Doomsday. This comes down to “who has more reality breaking feats than transcend infinity and time, and has killed more Eldrich gods?”.
Darkseid can't be killed the same way twice, and being beaten to death, stabbed, torn apart, and eaten was done already. And even if SCP-682 does kill him, he'll likely return and the same method won't work again. And 682 is 682. A never ending battle really, and they would NOT decide to work together ever XD.

Ok I've listened to this a few times and I can literally picture the whole fight in my head already, how it would go, and what would happen at what point in the track
Startup: Doomsday is the latest SCP in the Foundation, and they've determined he might be able to destroy SCP-682, they've set up a way for the battle to be monitored by a floating drone equipped with a timer that will start when Doomsday and SCP-682 begin their epic battle, and stop once the confrontation ends, SCP-682 is brought in as planned, however Doomsday is resisting containment, eventually breaks free, and kills the D-Class subjects used to lure him towards where 682 is waiting, he kills the last one before turning around an spotting 682, that's when "Immovable Object" Ques

Doomsday and 682 break out of the Foundation and take the fight outside, they've caused more collateral damage than any other attempt to destroy 682 the Foundation made previously, and Doomsday and 682 are all the while becoming more and more immune to each other's attacks, only making each other stronger, the drone now reads that the fight has been going on for close to an hour, then moves onto several as the fight continues

At this point Doomsday grabs SCP-682 and throws him to the floor on his back, and proceeds to punch him repeatedly, hard enough to start tunnelling his way through the Earth, they pass though the core and back out on the other side of the Planet, to where the drone cannot follow them, and even gets damaged and rendered flightless, but the timer still records that their fight has lasted just over a day

If this happened, it would probably come down to the fine print. Doomsday still dies to whatever it is that kills him, but 682 stays alive and kicking.
This is a cool matchup, but understanding the essence of each character gives us a really clear winner.
With a couple of "there is no canon" exceptions in tales and one SCP file that is good enough I won't complain, 682's thing is not dying. It adapts to prevent its death before it dies.
Doomsday dies, but always comes back immune to what killed him-he adapts to prevent future deaths when he dies.
Note that one of them dies and the other does not. 682 just has to prevent Doomsday's return to life after killing him. And even if Doomsday broke 682's immortality and killed it, 682 copies the abilities of what it interacts with as well as adapting to survive-see what happened when it was exposed to SCP-999. So 682 would adapt to use Doomsday's ability and come back to life even if Doomsday killed it. So 682 would in either situation be much better equipped to keep Doomsday from coming back again than Doomsday would be equipped to kill 682 AND prevent it from returning again.
So 682 has way better odds, hands down. And with enough time, 682 would flat-out copy everything Doomsday can do and add more onto it. A number x can never be greater than x + 1 no matter how big it gets.
There are 2 stories on the SCP website where it mentions 682 dies
The first one is about how 173 started making clones of itself and overran the earth and the guy telling it mentioned how he took pleasure in knowing that the clones tore 682 apart.
The second one is about the dead universe where the robot they sent discovered 682’s corpse.
So he can die just not as much as Doomsday has.

@@owenharry128 682 is a universal constant though, as shown in SCP-6820 where the things that build the concept of 682 are contained within the noosphere, the collection of ALL human thought outside the individual universe.
682 still wins regardless though, simply because 6820 shows that it can continue to exist without it's body, and that it could likely copy doomsday's ability of self-ressurection if it WERE to die somehow, in addition to feats such as rewriting plot itself or tanking the attack potency of the gate guardian which I don't think doomsday can remotely compare to.

I don’t think Doomsday could actually kill Hulk with a spike through the head or Raiden could dice Wolverine to death, but as a Death it’d be more cinematic then the actual way I’d think he’d win.

SCPs would be a pain to use in Death Battle since they have no actual canon, and especially for 682 there's a whole bunch of wildly different interpretations (including one where it's straight-up unkillable, and another one where it gets killed by a bunch of 173 clones). So I have my doubts that any of them will be used...
But dammit I want it to happen.

Plus the two have fought in the past, and the majority of victories was that Doonsday came out on top. And he even was resistant against Darkseid's most haxxier properties like the Anti-Life Equation and Omega Beams that can break holes in reality and BFR opponents into never ending death cycles.

This is one of my 5 favorite SCP matchups, with my other 4 favorites being SCP-173 vs Weeping Angel (SCP vs Dr Who), The Rake vs SCP-096 (Creepypasta vs SCP), Herobrine vs SCP-4335 (Creepypasta vs SCP), and Phantom vs SCP-966 (Minecraft vs SCP). All 5 of those I really like. Sucks to see SCP got basically deconfirmed, because there are some legitimately fascinating matchups for the verse.
As for this: I'd imagine the fight starts with Doomsday crashing into or breaking into a facility and going after SCP-053. 682 breaches containment and goes to save her. Doomsday challenges him, and they battle it out. Good start and would be pretty in character for them both
depending on what's used, it could be close, but more often than not 682 wins, so 682 FTW (He's one of my favorites because of how funny the foundation's desperation to kill him can get. I've read that multiple times and legitimately said aloud "What The Actual Fuck!?" to some of those).
If Doomsday legitimately tried to kill 053, Doomsday would die immediately and would need to wait for his next regeneration for the fight to actually begin. 079 on the other hand...

Doomsday stands over the now mangled corpse of 682. Their fight causing the planet to become lifeless husk of it's former self. But suddenly, 682 springs back to life, biting into Doomsday and pushing him away as they both let out a rage filled roar.
Suddenly, Doomsday begins to adapt once again, except it's not his strength or resistance that's growing. His perception of reality is.
Soon, a white void envelopes the area. 682 is now nowhere to be seen. Doomsday looks around before a tear through reality opens up before him, and through the tear, a single eye opens. Staring directly at Doomsday as the white void breaks apart, revealing the nearly incomprehensible cosmic entity.
Doomsday stares up at the unknowable entity, now having the perception and intelligence to see 682's true form. He charges at it before throwing a punch. But it's ineffective.
Slowly, the entity looks down at 682, a strange light gleaming around it as Doomsday suddenly lets out a roar of pain. Reality begins to bend around Doomsday. As it does, several timelines begin to appear, showing the same outcome. Doomsday getting erased from everything, time, space, reality, conception. Its roar begins to glitch out before he falls silent, Doomsday is now gone without a trace. The entity known as scp 682-1 continued to stare down where Doomsday once was before staring directly at the camera before bellowing.

This battle... oh boy, where do I begin.
First off, I love the music. Really incapsulates the anomalous nature of 682, while keeping the monstrous feel both of them have. Second, I think this is the greatest possible MU for SCP on Death Battle (minus maybe Chaos King VS Scarlet King, but that's a discussion for another day).
As for who I'd think would win, it'd come down to who outlasts the other more. Because really? Neither can *truly* permanently kill the other. Doomsday is known as the "Monster Who Killed Superman" for a reason, and so is for SCP-682 for being called the "Hard-to-Destroy Reptile". But, who takes the W most times? Well, that comes down to what versions of these guys we're using. In extended lore, SCP-682 can cause the destruction of the universe and its time upon his "death".
Meanwhile, Doomsday can fight on par with Superman, who has shown many Universal feats. Though, that's without bringing up True Form 682, who scales to the Scarlet King roughly, who can cause the entire SCP multiverse (which is larger than countably infinite in size) to be cast into chaos. So, if we do include True Form 682, everyone's favorite unkillable reptile will be the victor here. Otherwise, I'd say Doomsday takes it.
Finally someone with common sense
You bring up great points! Though I've seen people debunk Superman's strength to being outliers, though I wouldn't oppose any of your points. I personally think SCP-682 wins, but otherwise it's a match where I don't really mind who wins, since that's what makes this match up so interesting. The adaptability of 682 against the immunity Doomsday has obtained throughout the years.

Wiz: Also, despite being a genocidal monster, and having a rage state that makes him even more violent and aggressive, 682 is surprisingly, and VERY, intelligent.

SCP 682: "The little human, wants an answer? It's feeble mind, cannot comprehend it? The fact that you would ask, means you already know."
Wiz: All that is scary enough, but perhaps the most terrifying thing about him, and the most likely reason why so many fear it, is that 682 isn't indestructible, it's adaptable.

Boomstick: From being hit by a sowrd with flames hotter than the sun, to having every bone in his body snapped, to getting 85% of its body destroyed in a 27 hour battle against 096, 682 has taken it all and gets back up to kill some more. Like I said, indestructible. But luckily for everyone, he was found by the SCP foundation and brought into containment where he was classified as a Keter class anomaly.
Wiz: Keter class anomalies are creatures that are difficult to contain, either due to certain abilities or just being outright difficult to contain. With his adaptability and hatred for humanity, the foundation knew they had to kill it. But as you can probably already guess, the foundation had a slight problem.
Boomstick: He just wouldn't die! Fire, lasers, liquid nitrogen, nuclear fusion, even abilities from other anomalies just made the reptile stronger. He is literally the embodiment of the saying "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger".

Wiz: Also, despite what most believe, it's important to remember that 682 is the "hard" to destroy reptile, not the "impossible" to destroy reptile. Sure, it's survived numerous termination attempts, but it has been killed in other timeliness, though, only under specific circumstances that, more often than not, end in an XK class "end of the world" scenario.
Boomstick: Like when he got ganged up on by an entire army of 173s or when 2935, O'death was brought out of its world and into our own. So, yeah it's possible to kill 682, but you'll most likely die in the process. But hey, more often than not, he can just regenerate back to normal, right.
Wiz: Well, yes but his regenerative abilities do take time to fully heal him, so enough external damage can incapacitate him, and his healing can be slowed down by continuous damage.
Boomstick: That's why the foundation contains him by putting him in a tank of acid, so that he's constantly regenerating and unable to reach his full potential.
Wiz: Though this hasn't stopped him from breaching containment and killing lots of foundation staff multiple times, some of which would result in him escaping the facility he's kept in.

To be honest, making a track for an SCP is hard, since SCP does not have many things to base off into. I love the MU a lot, and I am very happy that this became popular, since I love SCP, and this MU as a whole impulsed SCP into the VS Community, and I love that. 682 wins, and that is just a + for the MU as a whole. More that SCP is not exactly a lone IP owned by someone, it is just a community project that hundreds can just add in their details. So finding a concrete canon or powerset on these is more difficult.

I don't care how broken Doomsday is, he can still die, right? But the point of 682 is that it can't. As far as I remember, Doomsday needs to die to something to become immune to it. 682 on the other hand, rapidly changes to suit the situation, and because of how SCP works, he can basically be or do anything.
The point of SCP 682 is that it's Hard to Kill. Never has it stated that it can never die. Mind you SCPs are inconsistent with their feats and most of the wanked stuff they pull are mere fanfics.
Not only that but there was a time where 682 adapted to a Star level Solar Flare from another SCP a d was clapped afterwards. Plus 682 has died before. And it resulted in a Universe ending.
Something Doomsday is more akin to due to fighting True Darkseid who can casually survive the destruction of a Multiverse and Crisis Resets.
Darkseid can't kill Doomsday with his Omegabeams and Omegabeams can destroy you, remove you from existence.

You know, if this would happen, I can imagine the fight taking place after Hulk Vs Doomsday, with Doomsday rampaging across the world, kicking the asses of the Justice League with Superman not having arrived yet, and the Foundation decides to screw it and drops out 682 to stop Doomsday, hoping that A, if 682 wins, he may be damaged enough that he'll be weak enough to be put back in containment, B if Doomsday wins, 682 would be dead and Doomsday would be damaged enough that Superman would be able to finish it with hopefully less casualties. Just imagining so no idea if my idea for how this would start would how It would actually happen.
Fun fact: the foundation can kill authors but can not kill 682
Alarms. Loud beeping alarms sounding throughout the entire facility. The ground shaking as containment chambers are broken by some THING. The foundation has seen many things but this one was... unique. A being with enough power to rival many of the SCPs that were known about. And it was rampaging through an important facility, going towards one of the most dangerous anomalies that the foundation had "secured".
Suddenly, more alarms start going off. Special alarms, alerting to a specific containment cell being broken out of. Two anomalies were now rampaging through the facility, and both were heading right for each other.
Breaking through one of the thick Metal walls of the heavy containment zone this new anomaly had come face to face with what it was searching for. The large grey creature almost toward over what it was after, but it's target didnt back down. The creature let out a loud, violent roar A scream of brutal intent. 682 stared down this monster, this... Doomsday unphased by what it assumed was a display of intimidation. It was unimpressed with all of what it saw only saying three disdain filled words to the Doomsday. "You are... Disgusting"

Even if we involved Creative Steve, Stickman has equipment in his arsenal capable of deleting an entire universe, as well as the ability to freeze time temporarily with the NRG drink if we're going full composite mode here. Stickman just has too much high tech equipment and if all else fails, he always has divide by 0 to finish steve off.
