What I love most about this channel, is that there are no LEGO kit reviews, it's all just videos dedicated to this layout and it's been so much fun to follow this channel along these past few months.
Man it looks good! I'd actually recommend not taking _all_ of the smaller trees out. Often times there are smaller, younger trees interspersed with the older trees, especially where forest has been cleared away to make room for farmland. That said, I bet the pieces from those old mini-trees could be put to use making a farm or something. A Vineyard? Pumpkin patch? Guess we'll see later! I also wonder if maybe the wheat field shouldn't be over between the castle and the watermill, so that there's a progression in the story going from left to right as you view the model. The proposed location would mean going from middle Wheat Field) to left (Watermill) to middle (Bakery) to right (Market). It'd also be a cool way to tie the entire set together. That still leaves the question of what to put behind the bakery, though. I'd guess maybe some auxiliary stuff, like a rack of firewood for the oven, or a dumpster. But I can't think of enough things to really fit. Maybe grapes to turn into raisins for the bread? Seems like a stretch.
It must be so rewarding to build such a large project and see it all come together. I aspire to be like you, not in building a Lego city of my own but to be as dedicated to the things you love. This is a beautiful piece of art. I’m glad you can share it with the world
id love to see the implementation of more gradual elevation changes. the big shelf to the right, and the future harbor area that will be lower down already add a great deal to the city; but id love to see more gentle slopes. they dont need to be big, only a few flat plates in height, but I think they would add a lot. no real city is built in a superflat world.
You should do a FPV train ride again, but stop every once and a while and take really long detailed shots of all the interesting parts of you setup. I love the setup, but I want to see more of it in detail. Just a long video of every bit of the layout. It’s just so detailed I can’t get enough of it!
Absolutely Fantastic!!! This City is by far the best on TH-cam. The attention to detail. So nice to see someone make a city that is not just a bunch of Modular Sets that they just keep re-arranging every week. Keep up the great work
At 5:10, I really like how you used vegetation to transition from the tiling to the rural area, but I believe this specific area would be better off with larger objects like bushes and small trees. I think this way it will create a form of natural barrier and focus our attention on the small line of tiles that connects with the pathway on the rural area. But that's just a recommendation.
I just found this channel about a week ago. In the time since, I’ve watched all your previous videos and couldn’t wait for this one to come out! Great work!
Have you thought about using some green plates to elevate the fields and big patches of grass to make it less "flat"?? I really enjoy your builds its super chill
I love this lego city man! Keep it up!! The best one I’ve seen in years! I have a recommendation, maybe you could add an abandoned siding with a rusty old train on it possibly in the trees near the front of the city?
Absolutely spectacular! I’m so glad I stumbled across your channel. I love how you have various buildings and areas of your city intertwined with each other that makes the storytelling so realistic, fascinating and compels the viewers to come back to the channel excited to see the updates! 👏 bravo! 💯
this city honestly reminds me in story of new york city here in the us. because it was one of the first cities established here, theres a wide mix of old and new buildings.
This city is awesome! You should remove some of the little trees next to the water and add little hooks and things to tie down the boat. Keep up the good work!
These updates have become a staple to my week, I sit with a cup of tea and see what you've been up to this past week. The bakery is one of my favourite buildings you've added and I can't wait to see the wheat farm and interior
I've been following your channel for a while now and I love the amount of detail in your city. It's so different from other cities which are basically a row of Modulairs.. Always looking forward towards updates. Keep up the good work!
i love watching your city grow and evolve each episode. i actually have a suggestion that i think might make your city look better or more realistic. right now the sky backdrop you have kind of cuts off the illusion of the city because it kind of just stops there and there is no “horizon” per say. my suggestion is that you could try and get an artist or a lego render of a small city fading into the back with hills or something to create the illusion of a horizon. :) anyways that’s all i love your videos and your city
This could be a really fun collab with another member of the modeling/artistic TH-cam community. I suppose it would probably have to happen later when the mountains and skylines are more finalized, but could end up being really cool for both channels. It would definitely be a unique project for the painter who would have to take the dimension and perspective into account. Love this idea!!
As a child, I always built mini cities using the top of my dads billiard cover as a base. I had a bank and a harbor area. Watching someone build such a massive environment like yours is peaceful to me. Kudos! 👍
What would be really cool is to incorporate a bit of time-perspective into the city. Or specifically an abandoned and overgrown train track from maybe the place ur working at at 7:30 goin to the harbour, as trains to harbours were very common some time ago. Like its already an area with vegetation there, why not make it more detailed. Would be super cool! :)
Its very nicely made your city! I wish I had the space for building my legos again. But living in a small flat limits me from having only a few hobbies. Making my legos left behind. But its so fun to watch your storytelling come to life! Keep up the awesome work you do! Do not give up! Keep sharing your ideas and building methods its a treat for the eyes and mind to seeing ideas come to life!
Maravilloso, felicitaciones. Eres muy creativo. Gracias 😊 por darnos el placer de disfrutar tus creaciones. Wonderful, congratulations. You are very creative. Thank you 😊 for giving us the pleasure of enjoying your creations.
A zoo is such a fun idea! So many unique architecture and terraforming opportunities. Especially if you can include an aquarium section. Very cool possibilities here. I love airport too.
Here's an idea on how you could make two different stories interact with eachother: you could have two of the workers, one carrying bread and the other carrying counterfeit bills, run into eachother, and both of the items be spread out on the ground as they both scramble to collect their respective products.
What an awesome city! I always wanted to see videos like this and I'm glad I found your channel! This is truly a work of an artist, the city, the houses, buildings, landscapes, minifigures all placed and built to perfection, what a great video and channel!
The city looks great. Don't forget to add a Mill. Either as extra building or part of the bakery interior. They would have difficulty baking the unprocessed wheat :)
I had seen the video already on your German channel, but wow, this city keeps amazing me everyview. Great progress. I love the tiling with studs, great idea.
Looks fantasic. The only thing I personally would change is to have small elevation changes in the grasses and around the river to make it more natural. Looking forward to the next update. Happy building.
As the english channel is much newer in comparison to the original channel, I would love to see a tour of the previous building such as the town center museum or a summary of how you managed to get the gradual slope on the town houses in the back of the city. Great work!
I really love this series, I never really watched lego youtubers, even though i have a small lego collection/city but not in ANY way close to your city!!!!! (like really, my city is that type that people would build when they are 9 and just be happy with it lmao) I really like your channel, you earned yourself another subscriber!
I really like the new building. Especially the color, brick work and the angled stairs. Though me - personally - I prefer the the smoother, tiled area to the 'studs'. Because I don't know why a city would have these 'studs' sticking up? Just places for people to trip over (in theory). But, it's your Lego City. ☮
This guy seriously needs to make like a Lego stop motion series. It would be so cool.. I would understand if that would take to much time out of your day but like seems like a cool idea to me
This is one of the best cities I have seen I like the rural area as most cities don't have that and the house designs are clever and top notch I have to say this will be the basis of my lego City for which I still don't have the tables yet.
The amount of detail in your city trumps any other Lego city channel I've seen. Always a pleasure to watch you add to it. Also, when are you going to expand on the moon base? I loved that video and your moon landscape looked amazing. Really looking forward to seeing what you do with it
The front harbor area is really getting fleshed out! I think it is my favorite section of the lego city. There already is a lot going on and you're not even done yet!
This is a great update! I do have a suggestion though, I think you should move the outdoor restaurant tables further away from the door, it doesn't look like there is much room to open the door 😂
You could tile of the top of the bakerys roof, the same goes for the near by buildings with a similar roof. If that isnt pretty try with those 1x1 slopes on top. I think it could look very good.
I love this city! :D So many details. One thing I noticed, is that the table outside of the restaurant blocks the door there. Maybe it sould be move at bit outwards?
You deserve more recognition. Also for the money laundering part of the harbor I think it would be cool to add signs like the construction signs or tape or something that would keep the public away and make sense to the story. Maybe make it part of the loading and unloading of the cargo of the harbor?
What I love most about this channel, is that there are no LEGO kit reviews, it's all just videos dedicated to this layout and it's been so much fun to follow this channel along these past few months.
Do you mean Sets?

You are a LEGEND!!! Your gunna take over the Lego community dude, keep up the great work
Lego-end.

But most things are made flatter for building etc
I think it would be really cool if you built a lighthouse by the harbour
That new custom tree you made last time looks SO good with the leaves... love it. hope you can incorporate that design again in the future.

Your attention to detail is like no other, really enjoy the Lego content!

I feel the tables in front of the restaurant are to close to the door to be able to open the door to get in and out. The rest looks great so far!
actually your'e right - the door can't be opened properly atm :D didn't realize while building :)
At 5:10, I really like how you used vegetation to transition from the tiling to the rural area, but I believe this specific area would be better off with larger objects like bushes and small trees. The bakery was awesome, you could add police secretly taking pictures of the mafia make that deal.
I just found this channel about a week ago. In the time since, I’ve watched all your previous videos and couldn’t wait for this one to come out! Great work!
Have you thought about using some green plates to elevate the fields and big patches of grass to make it less "flat"?? I really enjoy your builds its super chill
I was thinking exactly the same thing. This kind of minimal leveling could really help with any uniformity in the trees and grasses. Good idea!
This city is the coolest I've seen on TH-cam, so excited to see what comes next!
This is the most lovely and cozy Lego city out there and I adore watching you make it even better with every video!

The greenery and detailing in your layout are simply insane! And I really appreciate the european style (being from the Netherlands myself).
6:27 beautifully created.
I've just recently started to follow your channel and find myself already looking forward to your updates. So much detail and dedication...

The city looks great.
Don't forget to add a Mill. Either as extra building or part of the bakery interior. They would have difficulty baking the unprocessed wheat :)
The wheat is taken to the water mill! And then to the bakery 🙂
You could add a small pond next to the shack in the wilderniss. This way it could be a small local fishing pond and a storage shack for the supplies!

You should make a old abandoned cemetery
I'm not making Legos anymore but I really love your videos, carry on with the great works!
maybe you can make some benches in the grassy part behind the bakery where people can eat their fresh baked bread while enjoying the nature.
