      buy 2nd hand it's alot cheaper or buy new one in installment. it's really worth the investment. the sooner you upgrade the more money you can earn in the same period compared to using a manual bike.

      👋🏼Candice! It is awesome of you to visit my channel. ❤️ your lifestyle/food delivery vlog channel!
      8 hours is the approximate hours for my style of riding. A lot depends on how riders use the ebike.
      Some riders like to use on the highest speed assist from beginning till end. Ofc this will drain the battery much faster.
      However i found once I started managing my speed assist efficiently, i was able to last 7 to 8 hours on a single charge.

    Thanks for this valuable review of the KolMax+.
    How long does it take to charge you battery back to full.
    Do you remove your battery to charge, or do you charge it while attached to the bike.
    I'll be picking mine up middle of this month.
    Moving up. From a manual bike.

      TH-camr ebike is KOL Max, not KOL Max+, different is battery. KOL Max+ battery is 48V14.4AH, while KOL Max battery is 46.8V12.8AH. KOL Max+ battery is about 15% bigger than KOL Max battery.

    • @grabadventures
      @grabadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Paul. The ebike I got was Kol Max. Not Kol Max+.
      The charging times would be different as the battery sizes are different. Mine takes around 7 hours to charge. It would be best to check with yr retailer how long yr battery needs to charge.
      Yep. I remove my battery to charge. I think it is safer.

    How come your 12.8 AH can cycle further than my 17.5 AH? My ebike is Orca 2.0 48V. I thinking if its because I use speed 3 all the time?
    Not many hills where I do grab, and I am 10kg lighter.

    • @grabadventures
      @grabadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The way I cycle is that I mostly use mode 1 and sometimes 2. I only use mode 3 for steep slopes or when the voltage is down to 47v which is when my mode 1 and 2 slows down.

    Hi bro, I'm doing grab delivery on manual bike, was thinking to upgrade to ebike soon. I was wondering is it necessary to update grab for the change of delivering mode? I just don't want receive longer distance job

    • @grabadventures
      @grabadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The choice is yours. However persoanlly speaking I don't really see much of a difference distance wise between both accounts. The main difference i observed is that I get frequent stacked orders.
      Also do take note that if anything happens, you won't be able to claim compensation as your mode of delivery is different frim grab record.

      @grabadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really. I don't see any rise in my bill. However I only charge around 4 times a week as I am doing part time.
      I hv 2 batteries. So i alternate them on weekdays without charging as I only use them for around 3 hours. On friday i will charge both of them.
      Sat and sun i tend to use 1 battery per day until only left 10%. So i will charge 1 battery per day on sat, sun or ph. Full timer I don't know.
