- Hello beautiful people and welcome back to another ride. Today I test out my new microphone and media mod for my GoPro so I took to opportunity to talk about how I got into riding and how I met my partner in crime, Ghost.

No other scooter in the world can get close to the Vespa’s status. Not Even close. It’s just the Classic that Never get old.

@@shanethetrain8132 go at your own speed and go around your town or something for a bit and get used to the feel and such of the bike, or you can go for a massive long ride and such
I'm 59 years old and have owned most styles of bikes though predominantly sports bikes such as Ducati 916sps , Fireblade 1000RR.
I now ride a Vespa 300 GTS and I enjoy it so much.
I've ridden from the UK to Azerbaijan on it and they are as capable as anything else I have ridden.
I'm 41 and I've ridden all kinds of motorcycles. I've always liked classic Vespas, but at the same time, I've always looked down on scooters with the attitude of "they're not real motorcycles." The thing is, ever since I saw the 946 a few days ago, I've been bitten by the bug and can't stop watching videos of Vespas...
21 is not late. I'm just getting into motorbikes in my late 30s. Enjoy what you enjoy.
I'm a bike rider and all bikes to me whether scooter or not are motorcycles. Love your enthusiasm for just being out there riding. It's a while since I had my Xmax 250 but yours looks like a great bike 👍

That is why a Vespa sprint 125 beats anything else in the city. I ride a BMW R9T, amazing bike, also easy to ride and commute on but when there’s a bunch of traffic in the city little nimble Vespa sprint just perfect and easier to squeeze through tight narrow spaces. So I love my main ride, still upgrading it to make it perfect, I will never sell it. But I plan to also buy a little Vespa Sprint 125/150 just for running errands and when traffic is really bad the amount of power for the city is quite enough.
I definitely agree with you. It’s always nice to have something small and it’s most definitely got the right of power you need to just get through the city in a hurry

You won't regret getting a vespa. Good channel to watch is vespa motor sport, Robot is an absolute hero. They have tons of repair videos and ride outs, they did an amazing trip to South America, that's what got me hooked.

Out of curiosity what microphone are you using? I find every mic I use has barely understandable quality.
Thanks for the comment, im glad you enjoy the videos. The mic I use is called a "Purple Panda Lavalier Microphone" you can pick one up from Amazon for £15 thats the mic most moto vloggers use. Hope this was helpful and keep enjoying our vids. - Blaze

Did you get your scooter and do you like it ?
No. German Authorities denied my attempt to get a permission to drive a 125 cubic . So I bought one of these funny three-Wheelers. Piaggio MP 3 300. Stronger, faster and also a lot of Fun. This is a gap in German law. You can drive those three-Wheelers even with 500 cubic. @@Scale_Slotcars_Latvia

Hey man, check for millage, check the tires tread to see if their worn out or fresh. Make sure the owner has a log of the service history. Goodluck man

for a scooter me myself got a primavera s 150,as for the bike i've got a z900rs cafe
i love retro vehicles as well as the classic old vehicles especially for a scooter and motorbike,at first i want to buy old vespa pts,but my dad said that "boy,you're too old to take care old sh*ts,better get a retro look instead of the classic one"
maybe not much people like how does 1960s gp motorbike looks like,but i do like them and in fact i prefer to have a bike that look like that instead of modern fairing bike so i got myself a z900rs cafe because that's the closest thing i can get

We received our brand new Vespa (Primavera 125cc) 8 October we did ride it for 5 days and got an electronic problem! Now already a month later still no Vespa waiting for a replacement part from Italy.
OK, no actions from Vespa. I start to get angry and will tell it worldwide!
Piaggio Italy does not have electronic spare pieces in case of.... with a lot of luck repair will be in December but it can take month as well because the parts hase to come from Asia 🥵🥶

I enjoyed this clip. I've got my eye on a Vespa LX125. I've never rode a bike before. Is this a good bike to start out on before moving up to a Triumph or HD?

How are you enjoying the scooter ?
I enjoyed going along with the ride with yer'. I got back on the road a few years ago after buying a Peugeot Django, mainly because a liked the look of it.
It has everything I want on a scooter but a lot of people stick their nose up at it! So because I want to be accepted by the scooter boy's...I need a Vespa!
Haha people stick there noses up at scooters all the time but you cant go wrong with a Vespa
I almost bought a Django, I think it's a lovely looking bike.
@@1960ARC She is a nice looking bike and a joy to scoot around on. I dream about riding on an old Lambretta or Vespa but this little darling does the job for an old one like me! Coincidentally (and honestly), I'm just going to pop out for a ride for the first time this year as the sun is shinning.

I was going to buy a Vespa but went with the Royal Alloy 2023 GP 300S. The dealer is only 20 miles away. The nearest Vespa dealer is 120 miles.

@@offtracktv01 Yeah still on track for the CBT yh life happened .... I'm wondering on average how much you pay for insurance and all the other payments. Looking to learn to drive too .... so I can get a rental car if needed .... was going to get a Brompton bike if all else fails as they are easier to maneuver but will see haha I'm just worried for the yearly costs and the actual cost of the vespa .....
@@nicolescott89 goodluck with the CBT its very easy and i believe in you, Also the insurance depends on many things but it will definitely be less than £80 pm and yearly cost of the vespa is really low. just 2 services a year is important but ive had mine for almost 4 years and ive never had to change the break pads, rollers or drive belt. youll be fine and i promise you wont regret it. theres just a certain feeling you get when riding a Vespa. Vespas better than a geared bike, you can put a 218cc kit in it or some vespas and they're one of the top, besides Yamaha and Honda bikes.

Lane splitting is: immature…inconsiderate…rude…dangerous…and downright stupid.
I'd like you to elaborate on those points so I can bring a precise argument to why you're wrong about everything you just said.
Elaborate I shall. I’m sure you think you’re a supremely skilled rider and that negotiating a lane split is well within your capability. But let’s say you’re lane splitting on the right and, while traffic is stopped, I’m discharging a passenger curbside and that passenger opens his door. You wreck your bike, you’re injured and my passenger is injured. Who is at fault here? Let’s say you’re lane splitting on the left and I, not seeing an idiot coming up in my lane (my lane homie) decide to move a little to the left to negotiate a left turn. Who is at fault here? And more importantly, who is a threat to the safety of other drivers around him. I do understand. You’re in a hurry and obviously a privileged being and after all you’re just trying to eliminate traffic conjestion and we should understand. But if you look at this objectively you must understand that you’re a menace to society, an impatient, immature, entitled rider on two wheels that needs to grow up and be an adult before you send yourself or someone else to intensive care.

Lane splitting is LEGAL here for a reason. if we wanted to sit in traffic then we would buy a car. youre clearly just a Karen who's never ridden a bike in their life or YOU would understand why we do it. end of argument.
