Sometimes they're responsible for a team losing and instead of manning up and admitting they may have been wrong they just start ejecting players and managers. There are way to many sensitive umps in the game these days and its time they start being held accountable.

No. The manager is trying to get there before the player gets ejected and to be the one ejected so the player stays on the field. Of the two, the manager is the one most easily substituted for, and he can even keep doing his job from the clubhouse. The player can't catch fly balls oe take an at-bat from there. And even if the player already got tossed the manager will want to get in between to not have the player suspended, further hurting the team.
