    The best part is when the pitchers throw at or behind the hitter the next at bat after they pimped an absolute moonshot off them. If you don’t want them to pimp you, don’t throw them a pitch to crush. Don’t give up a HR if you don’t want them to pimp it.

    5:17 this umpire shouldn’t ever ump again. You can see it on his face he was wanting to eject someone. I seriously want to see umpires be fined for bad calls or poor ejections. Cause an ejection can truly effect a game and these umpires have a god complex it seems like, yes there are some rules to follow but there are lots of times umpires get in their feelings and do something ridiculous.

    There needs to be a boxing ring set up in the outfield somewhere at EVERY stadium, and whenever the "boys" want to fight, get in the ring and go at it. Everybody else, just stay away. They don't need any help from you. Just play the FN game. And you wonder why people complain about these games lasting too long. Certainly not boring, just wayyyyyyy too long.

    I hate the idea that you're not allowed to celebrate a home run without ending up with a welt on your thigh. The one commentator in the Tim Anderson clip that kept saying he deserved it and had it coming pissed me off so much. The fact that pitchers are allowed to drill a guy 100 mph because their feelings got hurt is laughable. I'm glad the game is moving away from that, and pitchers don't act as soft.

    Replying to the Astros vs the Rangers clip. The plate umpire ejects someone from Astros dugout for complaining balls and strikes. You see the plate umpire starring into Houston dugout. Game broadcaster comments that umpire has no business looking into dugout and should foucus on calling the game. As a sports official in multiple sports. Regardless of level dugouts are part of the jurisdiction umpires have as responsibility to make sure players and coaches follow proper behavior and good sportsmanship practices. Universal rule in softball,baseball you can't and I repeat CAN'T argue balls and strikes. Good for the plate umpire to to eject and not put up with this behavior. Reason for him looking and starring is to identify see with certainty who the person is.

      The fan touched the ball, but I don't think that can be interference because in order for the outfielder to make the catch, he would have had to reach above the wall. It should've been fair game for the fan to catch the ball, and make it a home run

    • @ryandonovan5895
      @ryandonovan5895 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @markmelchior726 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ryandonovan5895 You very well could be right, but the way I have always understood the rule is they have to interpret whether or not the ball would've landed over the fence if the fielder were not there and if there were no fans right there. Again, you could be right.

    Here’s the thing, right. If the zone is consistent, no reason to complain. Learn to hit it. I get it, it might not be easy but you are a professional hitter. If it isn’t consistent, than you have a reason to gripe! 100%. Not just they are professional, but knowing that the zone is wide or tall, make the adjustment and go after the ball. Walks don’t win ballgames!

    One thing I think that can be applied to life and Baseball (especially when umpires are hearing it from both sides) is that "if you come across one butthole every now and again, they might just be a butthole, but if everyone appears to be a butthole, then maybe you might be the butthole." The baseball equivalent is "if one person has an issue with your call, it's most likely just them. However, if EVERYONE has issues with your calls, then maybe your the problem" Ehmm, Angel Hernandez, Will Little.

    Will still always belive that at least 50% of the time, its the catcher that give the pitcher a special to actually throw at the batter, and that is why, all those years ago, saw that one video where the batter got thrown at and the first thing the batter did was give a round house kick right to the catchers chest then he went after the pitcher, this is why a number of times you actually see managers of the teams yell at the catchers.......

    Somebody really needs to tell the umpires that people don’t pay big bucks for tickets to see them eject players from the game. The sheer volume of the number of ejections should tell the powers that be at MLB that something is seriously out of kilter here. Even when a manager or player isn’t profane or overly confrontational, the umpires have fuses that seem to get shorter and shorter. But then again, MLB wouldn’t get rid of the joke that was Angel Hernandez, so why should expect them to ANYTHING about horseshit umpiring? ⚾️

      thats exactly why its an automatic ejection. You're no longer arguing the call the Umpire made but someone else made. Managers know this but they are still pissed and decide to take it out on whoever is standing there

    • @redbeard101272
      @redbeard101272 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Managers are usually still angry at the initial call. Going to replay, in their mind, should never happen. Umpires should get the call "right" the first time and not go to the booth. So, even though they know they will be done for the night, they argue the initial call.

  • @Seemsayin

    Batters who try to bunt, should do so, at their own risk.
    I don't see how a pitcher can be liable for hitting the extended hand, relocated to the barrel
    of the bat, from the handle. When you deliberately move your hand from the handle, you
    intentionally increase the chance that the ball will make contact with a body part. Sort of like
    standing directly in front of the plate. Depending upon where the ball winds up after the hit, it's
    either a fair, or foul ball.
    I don't know the official rules. Just my 2 cents.

    • @wesnall6796
      @wesnall6796 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know it’s been a year, but I’ll clarify the rules. If the batter is actively attempting to bunt at the ball, and it hits his hand, the pitch is a strike, the ball is dead, and no runners advance. If the batter is not attempting to strike the ball; but has his hand in the strike zone, the pitch is called a strike, the ball is dead, and no runners advance. If the batters is not attempting to strike the ball, and his hand is out of the strike zone, but does not attempt to avoid getting hit, the pitch is called a ball, the ball is dead, and no runners advance (unless it’s ball 4). Lastly, if he gets his out of the zone, and has attempted to avoid getting hit, it is a hit batter.

      @@Seemsayin in essence, I was highlighting that there’s only one instance in which the pitcher is truly deemed “liable” for hitting the hand of the hunter. That’s basically if he threw a pitch that missed the strike zone and hit the batter while the batter wasn’t attempting to hit the ball. Much the same as he would be liable for missing the strike zone and hitting any other part of the batter while the batter wasn’t attempting to hit the ball.

    No matter what, every time I see an ump get confrontational I get pissed.
    Look, you blow a call, it happens. You tell them to stop bitching after hearing them out, ok.
    But when you see an ump “show up” a player or a manager or throw a guy out for walking away EVEN IF THEY’RE still talking, then you’re not ready to be in the majors.
    These guys are playing for large money and you’re not the star. You’re the ump. You don’t have to take abuse, but when you’re looking into the dugout, or following after a guy, you’re being the punk and the league should implement a way for the team to appeal a toss when something like that happens.

Poor commentating etc’’ see how it works dude?

      It’s about the showing up a player. Umps don’t want players showing them up but there is ZERO repercussions when the umps do it to the players.
