ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

8: Jean Grey- could’ve had double jointed elbows, no accessories, kinda plain but still good.
7: X-Man- not familiar with him, could’ve had accessories.
6: Wild Child- good, but nothing special, not familiar with him.
5: Weapon X- Great figure, but it needs another head and I prefer the other Weapon X design.
4: Morph- one of my favourite X-Men, cool design, could’ve had accessories.
3: Sunfire- looks sooooooo cool! And I love this design for him, could’ve had accessories though.
2: Dark Beast- Looks soooo cool, and I have no complaints.

Wild Child for me was a welcomed figure to the line. But for me he felt more like an early accessory to Sabertooth, as opposed to an actual action figure.

Age of Apocalypse was amazing. When I was done reading it was like wow, and then I thought I wish they had figures and then like 10yrs later they are finally doing them. I read the omnibus.

Least is Jean grey, then Wild child, then morph, then x man, then weapon x, then sunfire, then sugar man(I did not get dark beast because I thought that I could just use a mjolnir from a different toy line that is to scale with sugar mans hammer.)
That marbling makes the hammer look pretty good actually, I like it.
It looks waaay better with the marbling. I always loved marbling as a kid.
#1 - Mount him to a wall or glass, and put light behind or under him, SUNFIRE is FIRE !
#2 - Yea that X-man is good, and we waited long enough for him finally.
#3 - Take a great figure and make him "DARK" - dark beast is great.
#4 - Ok its not the morph we all want for THAT display, but its the morph for this wave.
#5 - Shes really hard to make a custom of.... wait no thats not it. Ok its AOA jean.
#6 - Is his hair really that big? YES, yes it is. Weapon X.
#7 - He really should have been an accessory..... like half the size and packaged with someone else....hmmm...
#8 - The first AOA build a figure, and its the biggest loser enemy of AOA. (so many great villain options in this story) Apocalypse four horseman are ABYSS, nemesis, Mikhail Rasputin!? and sinister.... so the first 3 are better. And what about the big bad Gambit fights(no spoilers!)
I just collected the figs I needed to build Sugar Man on Friday. In my opinion, one of the best looking BAF's ever.

The Sugarman figure looks good not exactly what I was expecting from what I saw of the custom one that was on the Marvel what the video but still a good design and a great unique figure to have in your collection

Recipe for how to make Sugar man.
Step 1: Secure, steal or create your own teleporter as seen in The Fly.
Step 2: Threaten Trantor, the troll from Ernest Scared Stupid, with milk and hugs to get him into said teleporter.
Step 3: Reality hop and bribe Duke Nuke'm with beer and tits and a really hairy hottie in the shiny metal closet. AKA teleporter.
Step 4: Ignore the yelling, roars, death threats and other questionable sounds and flip the switch.
Congratulations, you created an abomination. Whatever you do do not get it wet, feed it after midnight and keep it out of the sunlight. The last one is mostly for the sake of others. No one wants to see that shit.

Sugar man is such a unique figure and it stands out in my collection so much, and idk, I missed out on the old Sunfire and have always loved that design, plus when I was playing Heroclix, AOA Sunfire was a beast.

It's full circle. I remember (I mean I know you remember shartimus, because I wasn't alive) when the early marvel figures were made they had the marvel universe and the x men figures separated. And they the same molds mostly. That's kinda happening again with marvel legends. Funny, isn't it...

I bought this entire set JUST to get Sugar Man. He's my favorite in the set obviously, but I still give Dark Beast #1 Simply because he's one of the figures I had to buy in order to get the parts, so it wouldn't make sense to count Sugar Man. I give Dark Beast #1, Nathan #2, and honestly Wildchild #3. They're so fun to play with, so many different points of articulation, great weight distribution, amazingly detailed... I guess I'm just looking at through a different lens, since I only bought them to get the BAF.
That Franklin Richards figure looks so sad lol anyway, I agree with your ranking of the wave.

Still waiting on my pre-order to come in from BBTS, which is weird, cause i'm already seeing these, I saw Sunfire and Wildchild at Target (and usually I have a real problem finding anything at Target that isn't a peg warmer) today and managed to pick up Weapon X 2 weeks ago, so idk what the hold up is, but I am most excited for Dark Beast and to build that friggin nasty (but awesome!) looking Sugar Man! Hey Shartimus...Have you tried the Morph body with the Mad Cap head that came with the Deadpool figure? With those boots and hands should be interesting...
Id love to see you start using the Toy Biz Deadpool more maybe do a comparison video of the many Deadpools that are out now so we can see how its held up over the years compared to newer releases

What baf do you like more Sauron or sugar man?
Overall, very disappointed that the only “accessories” that came with any figures in the wave were the chain on Wild Child, Weapon X’s little clawless nub, and Morph’s cape. Not even little snap on “energy effects” for X-Man or Jean. Morph only came with a lousy leg other than his cape when possibly a few extra heads would have been nice. Plus they could possibly be used on the figures of characters they went to as added expressions. I’m VERY happy to see that the second wave of AOA figures is fixing this by including extra hands, heads, and accessories with each figure despite the BAF being a VERY LARGE Colossus. Even Sabretooth, who is based on an older Colossus figure comes with an extra head and hands! I honestly think the lack of accessories turned many away from this wave that otherwise would have got them. So far, I’m only missing Dark Beast and Sunfire, and these are my ONLY Marvel Legends Hasbros. I do have the Hellfire Club Toy Biz Legends Wolverine, but that’s it. I plan to get all of AOA Wave 2, and any other AOA figures, if I can get them, but my collection of Legends will likely stop there.

I %100 agree with your ranking, other than for SOME reason I'd go Sunfire over Beast, but for sure give Sugar Man the top! Great reviews!
