Does anyone else remember watching the 1994 Spider Man series where Madame Web was vocied by Joan Lee, a.k.a. Stan Lee's wife?
I go play Spider-Man 2 on digital PS5 instead
Blade 3 is my worst comic book movie 👎🏽💩
@T-M-N-T L Take fam
Who else cared more about Jeremy’s review, than the actual movie?
All of us.
Everyone with a brain of course
🙋🏻🙋🏻🙋🏻
Jeremy? Wasnt he Madame Web co-star Ezekiel Sims?
Waited for it before going to see it. Now I'll wait for the release date
So glad that Ezekiel is reviewing his own movie.
Im relieved to know he is just as confused as the rest of us
It was nice of him to take a break from researching spiders in the Amazon
@colten53 The Amazon is just cursed. it's probably where the symbiotes and that Lion that bleeds on Kraven come from.
@@colten53so considerate 😂
Lol
Jeremy is so classy, even a movie nobody wanted or have seen, he still did two separate videos for the 5 people who didn't want it spoiled lol
I mean I love Jeremy but he’s clearly incentivised to do another video about a movie that’s being talked about heaps online
@@thezanycat On point clearly 😂
@@thezanycatman's gotta eat, and I want him making videos for a long time.
When I saw spoiler vid on Friday, I just assumed that this was his one and only review. Nope.

3:47 this was too perfect. I was literally thinking “huh, this guy looks like Jeremy” before JJ spoke up. I’ve rewatched this part several times cracking up.
Is it him?
It just might be him 😂
It's cool that Jeremy pointed out the resemblance.
I didn’t realise Adam scott was playing uncle ben. I can already hear Ryan George in his pitch meeting “Ben Parker he’s in the spiderman movie wow wow wow”
That is close enough to what he said in the video.
"HE'S FROM THE OTHER MOVIES!"
I love how he dresses up for the ad read and immediately is back to business in his robe 😂
Damn, lol I just caught that.
That transition was smooth af

He would have recorded that previously. As it's a sponsor he dresses smarter and isn't in a house coat. That's it, it's not for any creative reason 🤷♂️.
Even if you look at the press tour for this movie, Dakota Johnson looked so absolutely done with this movie to the point that she didn't even care anymore 😂
She kinda always has that vibe though to be honest lol
Apparently she even jumped ship from her talent agency right after the trailer dropped. I think that proves beyond anything how much faith she had in this film.
And yet she decided to promote her movie on SNL.

Yep and this right here is the Robe/Bourbon Jeremy.

Easily my favourite theatre experience ever. Every single person knew what we were in for and laughed so hard at the schlock fest. When they did the responsibility line, it was the loudest laugh I’ve ever heard in a theatre and everyone applauded.
Thank you so much Sony, never change 😘
Still till this day Halloween Resurrection is my favorite theater experience. Whole bunch of people knew that us was a lame story and laughed and yelled at the film, don’t go In there you idiot, Michael Myers is in there. It made the film better.
That’s always the best type of experience. I’ll never forget watching The Wicker Man w/ my cousins and being so baffled at just how goofy that movie is.
Thanks for not being 2024 Chris Stuckmann.

That movie is Luke warm Garbage.
But man, it had *Style!* It's a classic case of Enjoyable good time, but not good.

Thank you, Ezekiel Sims, for such an excellent review of your own film!
She was voiced by Stan Lees wife in the Cartoon
That’s sad
I'm surprised that Jeremy did a spoiler talk for this considering that I don't think anyone really is interested to see the movie in theaters now. But then again, always looking forward for the review of this movie than the movie itself 😂
I don't think no one seeing the movie (or being interested) is a factor. Sometimes you just have to get it out of your system like a disease and never talk about it again :D
Its likely precisely why he did a spoiler talk for this movie.
If you never intend to see it because it is an objectively shit movie, is it really being spoiled? I'd argue that no it is not, and is in fact deliberate content that will likely be watched by many, since nobody besides Jeremy and 12 other people on the planet bothered to see it.
He's trying telling us how much he hates the movie by going the extra yard to make a spoiler movie about this shit.
Given his previous vid on this film got big views in just 2 days, it makes sense for him to capitalize on talking about it once more, can't blame him. That and probably alcohol doing things jk
Adam Scott who plays uncle Ben is also named Ben in show Parks and Recreations
Wow crazy
Ah so he met Leslie Knope in the movie
Into the Benverse
And he's also the main character in seBENrance
Also one of the Spider women, Isabel Merced, plays basically an adoptee in yet another film. She was in the foster system in a Mark Whalberg film called Instant Family.
my guilty pleasure early 2000s superhero movies are the two movies featuring Jennifer Garner as Elektra. The costume designers certainly knew what they were doing :)
I loved Daredevil as a kid . She awakened things in me lol
Jennifer Garner had that girl next door quality to her.
An actual movie review on Madame Web instead of a critic on the movie studio.
This is refreshing. Thanks Jeremy
Lol Stickman is a dweeb
There’s literally nothing to spoil because nothing happened in this movie
When it comes to new movies it’s SO important to check the director and writers first before ANYTHING. That will answer your questions on how and why story and character development wasn’t part of the prep work.
Its written by the same people that wrote Morbius. That says a LOT
THEY STILL HAD A CAREER AFTER THAT MOVIE?!
@dimitrikusnetsov8731 Well, they certainly won't have one now lol you'd have to be completely insane to let them anywhere near your film
@@R0b0SquidHDMCthey have nose rings so they have at least 7 more years in the industry
The 2004 Punisher movie with Thomas Jane is a fun campy time. It's a hold over of the 80's and 90's action film, and it does it really well
I've loved that movie.
Great movie
My dad was in downtown Tampa when they filmed at the Riverwalk the fire scene he said it was just as awesome as the movie
My favorite punisher film
Punisher Dirty Laundry is worth a watch
For 2000-2009 bad comic book movies I have a soft spot for:
Fantastic Four (2005) & Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) - I developed an appreciation for these movies after watching Fantastic Four (2015).
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) - I developed an appreciation for this movie after seeing X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019). (It's amazing how an even worse piece of crap could make you appreciate what came before.)
Spider-Man 3 (2007) - This is my true guilty pleasure film. However, I don't blame Sam Raimi for how the movie turned out as much as I blame the producers and studio for interfering. Whenever I watch this film, I always wonder what it could've been if Sam Raimi was just allowed to make the movie he wanted to make.
Yes, Rise of the Silver Surfer is my pick. I don't say the first one because I don't consider it a bad movie, lol; plus, it obviously did well enough to get a sequel. Whereas Silver Surfer was a definite drop in quality, with more of a tv vibe. But I liked it at least as much as the first, and the reason was that now everyone was at peace with their powers and could just enjoy them.
I like all those movies man
@@NadeemShekh-uy9zn same
Spider-Man 3 is not a guilty pleasure. The movie is a 7/10 at best. Yea, it’s the worst in the trilogy, but it’s not a horrible movie.
I enjoy Last Stand more than First Class
Doesn’t Jeremy look like the baddie?
I'll be freaking amazed if this SOMEHOW gets a sequel.....
Dude, I am frankenstein gets a sequel before this
As long as Sony owns Spider Man don’t be surprised by anything that come from that studio

The Punisher with Thomas Jane is my guilty pleasure early comic book movie for sure
One of the best.
Its a decent movie not sure its bad enough to qualify as a guilty pleasure 😅
I love that movie! Is it a masterpiece? No, but it’s a great Punisher movie and very entertaining.
That's just a good movie bro
I really liked it.
@ 6:16, That was the ambulance for the pregnancy. The one that Ben Parker (Adam Scott) called, and Mary Parker (Emma Roberts) explains there is not enough time to wait for. Plus, it was arriving at the same house they just left from..
Bro, I'm at work on a Thursday watching a spoiler video for a movie I will never see and laughing my ass off. Thank you for making my day go by faster.
Just saw this last night, regarding the ambulance jacking: the EMTs were going into the house she was coming out of, Ben called it for Peter's birth, but it was going to take so long which is why they left in the car (leaving the pregnant woman unbuckled in the back seat for some reason).
So, fortunately no movie people died so she could save the spider-teens.
yes, second review i watched who missed that. my thing was how long she is driving around in a stolen cab with no plates.
@@americanjesusshow4087 that she just crowbars off. Plus for half the movie the front is all smashed in.
Mike Eppes character died though in the movie 😂
@@americanjesusshow4087, She used that cab to get to the airport, had to park in long term parking, flew to Peru, flew back, and the cab is still there waiting for her.
@@justingary5322Oh who cares? It's just Mike Epps, the only "good " movie he's ever been in was...uh, I wanna say, "Friday After Next"? Because I liked the Friday movies? Why is Jeremy bashing his own movie?
“Who flips off an ambulance” was in a stand up comedy set I watched from Trevor Wallace. Surely not a copied joke. Idk if he has that much reach😂
I unironically love Daredevil 2003. Colin Farrell as Bullseye, in particular.

Can this FINALLY be the final nail in the coffin for the Sony Avi Arad Amy Pascal “We Can’t Use Spider-Man” Spider-Man Scam Movie Universe?
This entire business model is predicated on tricking audiences (and MAYBE EVEN some of their actors) into thinking these are MCU movies.
I'll give the SAAAPWCUSMSMSMU one more movie, after that it's over
don't forget about Kraven! And Venom 3!
The hits keep coming this year
@@Mando44646 And I hope both flop 🙏🏻
@@Horrormaster13Venom 3 will probably do ok. Kraven is ensured to flop though just like this movie was. I don’t understand how anyone at the studio hasn’t put a stop to nonsense like this or how anyone who gets paid to make these sort of decisions could expect these things to make money. It’s like the dumbest humans on earth are making these decisions.
Not yet. Kraven and Venom 3 are still planned. So wait before saying that.
The first Ghost Rider movie. I love that movie unconditionally
Some great dialogue in that movie:
"Lookin' for someone?"
"Back to hell!"
"We're not gonna have a meaningful conversation now are we?"
"you're going down!"
"....I don't think so."
Mind blown with how amazing that dialogue is. So deep with so much nuance. 😅
I'm never watching it, but the one minor thing from the trailer I liked was seeing Julia Carpenter's suit in live action. Because I watched the 90s Iron Man animated series as a kid and Julia Carpenter Spider-Woman was in that, so it's interesting for me personally to just see that.
The most suprising thing about this spoiler talk video was Jeremy being sponsored by Honkai Star Rail
Frrr that’s what i was saying haha

To answer your question Jeremy, either Daredevil with Ben Affleck, I have a soft spot for that film, and Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage
Soft spot wdym, there's people that consider Nick cage Ghost Rider as trash?
@@Vii_is_here no I love Ghost Rider, it’s Daredevil I have the soft spot for.
The big question I have before I press play: does the "Madame Web" in this at least end up as the blind old lady in the chair from the Spider-Man Animated Series? I mean, THAT'S the Madame Web I remember, and one we should've gotten Helen Mirren, Maggie Smith, or even Emma Thompson to play.
Yes.
God, Helen Mirren would've killed as Madame Web.
@@TheAwesomeDarkNinja
She sounds like such a fun lady.
I was thinking Glenn Close
They made her blind and disabled at the end of the movie
Jeremy, your hair is incredeeble ...
"Don't drag your date to trash" is fantastic life advice honestly
Anyone also notice how clean the transition from jacket to robe was? 👀
Even if I have absolutely 0 interest in the movie/TV show Jeremy is talking about. If he is holding a cup of Jack in the thumbnail, I know I'll be watching the video because unlike Chris Stuckmann, Jeremy still has the balls to dunk on bad entertainment.
Hulk (2003)
I like the weird paced introspective . Also like how comic book transitions are used.
Certain effects scenes feel more weighty than any other large scale destruction I've seen. When hulk is smashing tanks, it feels like they actually shot film of a big green guy smashing a tank.
Nick Nolte is off the rocker and I love how he torments Bruce. Also love Eric Bana always and Jennifer Connelly is bae.
Most of all (and i think a lot of people hate this) - I like how hulk moves and his body is proportioned. It doesn't just feel like bigger/stronger normal person. Hulk is compact, non fluid, almost like how tf would you even move with all that muscle.
Agree with all of this. Such a weird movie, in a good way. It also gets the core of Hulk in a way the MCU ended up totally discarding.
I straight up like hulk 2003 more than any mcu movie 😅
It has been, and if the current trajectory stays on course then it will remain to be, the best marvel movie of all time. Change my mind. ☕️
I played the shit out the Hulk video game tie on Xbox 21 years ago 😢
Well it definitely got captured the essence of the Hulk & his powers correctly. + it was a big influence for Hulk Ultimate destruction.
Thank you for the honest review and not just "movie studio bad, director good, director never bad."
But why does the villain look like Jeremy tho 😂
The Jane Connor reference in the last video was clever, I had to rewind a bit to make sure I heard it correctly.
Calling it now, some guy is gonna make a 5 hour video on Madam Web to talk about every single second of this movie and why it’s the death of the genre, Hollywood, his politics, blah, blah, blah
Is that you or a lookalike?
Dude when they showed her in the hospital, blind… I CRACKED UP IN THEATRE
It was her in a wheelchair and glasses for us 😂
The ambulance Cassandra steals was the one Ben called for Mary.
That's even worse! Also, I kept wonderin' why Mary didn't get to go in the ambulance but then that zappy scene wouldn't have happened I guess 😕😐
@@rahbeeuh They called the ambulance, Mary said she couldn't wait for it, so the five of them leave in Ben's car. Cassandra shows up around the same time the ambulance finally gets there.
@@Shadowstaarr I'm sayin' when Cassie hits Ezekiel and tells Ben to get as far away as possible. She could've let Ben drive the ambulance with Mary inside to the hospital.
@@rahbeeuh Ah fair. I'd handwave it away that without another person to either drive or monitor Mary in the back, him having the ambulance or a car didn't make a difference.
I was looking for this comment!
Really love to see Jeremy recognize Scarlet Spider. Before Spiderverse did a character assassination of the original alternative spiderman.
I can't wait for the pitch meeting (Ryan George) for this movie. Never watching this movie, but the pitch meeting is gonna be legendary.
It turned out to be the best pitch meeting ever.
1:15 I dragged my husband to Casablanca for Valentine's, glad I made the correct decision.
Daredevil is my favorite bad 2000s super hero movie. It’s hilarious and Colin Ferrell alone is worth the price of admission

HSR sponsored NewRockstars twice!
I had no idea that Adam Scott played Ben Parker. I completely missed that, ah well.
My guilty pleasure, the 2003 Daredevil movie. “Ehh! Eh?? Bullseye.”
Daredevil with Ben Afleck has to be my favorite bad comic book movie. It aged so much better after meme culture hit. Hearing Bring Me To Life in that movie never fails to make me laugh
I never plan on watching it. But have been watching a ton of reviews since it’s genuinely hilarious and watching people tear this movie apart is surely more entertaining than the movie itself
Blade Trinity. It spat on everything Blade had made up until that point in goodwill, but that did start my love for Ryan Reynolds. Who just, did the best he could with the crap he was given.
Triple H, Ryan Reynolds, Jessica Beil, Parker Posey, and Wesley Snipes' Blade. I love that movie exactly for what it is.

Stevenson was a f%cking beast.

I really liked Push. I wasn't even sure I remembered it in theaters, but I thought it was great. It had the classic trope of guy starts out barley being able to get a die to roll over to by the end of the movie being able to deflect bullets.
I googled a quick list but PUSH didnt come up. That is definitely a movie with a TON of problems, but there was a good movie in there somewhere too. It came on cable last summer in the hotel and I was watching it before I left. I actually wanted to finish watching it again.
I just wanna say thanks to Jeremy for giving transparent, honest, agenda-free opinions and for not mincing words

As a former medic, the answer to the question, "Who flips off an ambulance?" is a lot of people. A lot of people like to flip off ambulances. It's pretty common.
Chris Stuckmann could never 😒. Awesome content Jeremy Jahns 👏
You have to be fucking joking
Why'd you bring him up? Is there a reference I've not gotten to yet?
Since Chris decided he wanted to make movies, he has refused to release any critical movie reviews (he freely admits this) which has destroyed his credibility as a movie reviewer which is his main job that pays the bills. He is viewed as a sell out. @rahbeeuh

The first extra super green hulk in the early 2000's was actually low key good!
X men origins: wolverine was critically panned but that too was pretty good apart from 2 scenes and the extra contrived ending.
They Would have benefited from "Elseworlds"/multiverse if Logan didn't lose his memories and had to live with the consequences of that movie.
That first hulk movie was the only time when they actually had the hulk get bigger and bigger the more angry he got , I loved that.
I think X-Men Origins Wolverine might have actually been good if they just made it about Wolverine & Sabertooth working in that Black Ops Team of special forces. Regardless, like you said, it does have it's good parts.
I'm still waiting for the fan cut where some enterprising photoshop person puts Deadpool bobbles into the last fight. The cinematographer even left all that unused open sky for you to do it in without blocking any of the action. I'm talking early 2000 multi though bubble differen color and font.
X-men origins had ALL the origins, but none of the story of Logans origins. Individual parts were good ( here's looking at the opening credits) but as a whole . . . I didn't fall asleep?
