Alright. So i did something similar. After the french toast was done, some of my mixture still remained. I thought, hey, that's the same as an omelette mixture right? It was an absolute failure. I had throw away the crumpled up slob of an omelette. French toast was tasty though!

I let the bread soak for 10 minutes to a half hour, depending on how dry it is. So it tastes like egg, which I thought was the point of french toast. Don't really understand this "quick dip" thing, but I think it has to do with people who think deep down that raw eggs are "icky" and disgusting. That's why he insists that the eggs be thoroughly beaten "no globules". It's like people who must have their hamburgers burned to a crisp, or like people who (over) boil shrimp or lobster to death in an unconscious attempt to sanitize the food.
My mom never had TH-cam and I never had a chance tasting this type of food. I remember watching the food network and saw this. I mean you even included the heat temperatures, medium to medium high etc. You also included the amount of oil used, which most completely forget about. For that I thank you again. A great video that included every minor detail.
It's really delicious with apple butter. Growing up we couldn't always afford syrup, but we had apple trees, so mom made pies, dumplings, apple cakes and of course apple butter. Still love that combination and it takes me back to simpler times.😋
at 3 am most peoples bodies pass the fatigue and nausea phase. so basically if ur staying up long past ur bodies clock at once stage u start feeling tired and even sick but soon after you fight through that and u feel awake even for another whole day. for most people that would be 3 am, everyone starts feeling lively and is actually paying attention therefore commenting. And obviously some people just like the phrase that came from that i guess lol.

That helped me through my day
Thank you 😊
Well now if I could not make it it would truly be shameful 😂
OF ALL THE RECIPES FOR FRENCH TOAST THIS HAS PROVED TO BE THE TASTIEST. THANK YOU FOR THE SIMPLE PROCESS

Being south asian we always make savoury French toast: egg, onions, green chili, and salt. Still tastes really good!
Knows how to make it .
Watches anyway.
Decides to make some.
Me too. But another view is good. Always thought soaked toast yucky!
BiggD same
I was thinking the same thing! Just because someone watches a TH-cam Video, that doesn't mean they don't know how to Cook. Maybe they're just wanting a new idea on how to prepare it?
Sister Rose Exactly my situation, I have my own recipe but I just want to know how other people do it.
Yup same and it was delicious!
Thanks for this mate. I also like to KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid.
Love this recipe. Never though to add cinnamon and vanilla. But an amazing combo!
I'm a complete novice when it comes to cooking and I wanted to thank you, for making such an informative video. I mean you even included the heat temperatures, medium to medium high etc. You also included the amount of oil used, which most completely forget about. For that I thank you again. A great video that included every minor detail.
Haha Cool... 💕😂 🤭 Awsome and yummy right ?! Sounds esay enough for me... I can made my own version ..
Hey if you ever need a new room mate, be sure to dm me

Every time my kids wants french toast I watch this video. Thank you for your help. You saved me👍👍👍🤗🤗
I literally went and did this recipe immediately after watching the video(was wondering what to do for breakfast), VERY DELICIOUS!
Yes, me too. 🙋🙋
Yeah, thank you TH-cam recommendations
Donnwestt I did the same thing, mine came out great too
Love this recipe, didn’t realize how easy it was to make French toast.
Honestly. true me too I thought it was hard and you need to add flower and stuff 😂
Me neither 😁😁
It's really delicious with apple butter. Growing up we couldn't always afford syrup, but we had apple trees, so mom made pies, dumplings, apple cakes and of course apple butter. Still love that combination and it takes me back to simpler times.😋
You should try it with Truffle Butter!!! 😋 😋 😋!!

What's this obsession with 3am everyone, its like that one persistent thing that wont die.
at 3 am most peoples bodies pass the fatigue and nausea phase. so basically if ur staying up long past ur bodies clock at once stage u start feeling tired and even sick but soon after you fight through that and u feel awake even for another whole day. for most people that would be 3 am, everyone starts feeling lively and is actually paying attention therefore commenting. And obviously some people just like the phrase that came from that i guess lol.

Thanks for the ingredients list. Sometimes I just need that and I'm good, a lot of channels make you watch the whole video before they tell you.
Have made this recipe twice now and it is the bomb!! I cannot justify spending $11 in a restaurant for French toast anymore. What I make at home with this recipe is so much more delicious and so much more economical. Thank you!
I like the use of the word "decadent",makes me feel luxurious watching this video 😀
Try adding coffee mate French vanilla creamer to the mixture as well, taste amazing.
