I loved watching you in secret millionaire. I too have been homeless for a year now wanting just one person to believe in me. I am going for my bachelor's degree online for family and social services. I am blessed that God has always made a way for me to get my school work done. Now I just got a job at the Levi store. Now will be looking for a place and a car. You are a blessing thank you for you inspiration.

Hello Dani, my name is Tim Carpenter and I understand the experience of living on the streets years ago, but, I also have the good fortune to get my Bachelor's and Masters degrees in journalism and media management and at the age of 34, I worked at NBC Sports with Dick Ebersol who NBC Sports for 10 years, and I was able to become a millionaire. I now teach media management and journalism at DePaul University in Chicago, and I was lucky enough to be one of the executive producers for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia and will do it again at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games In Rio De Janiero. What I want to say is the episode of secret millionaire you did was absolutely inspiring and I respect you a lot for doing what you did, from being homeless to being a multi-millionaire, to me you are an inspiration to me. I wish you and your family continued success and I hope your are an NFL fan and watch NBC's Sunday Night Football because I will be the executive in charge, which means I get final say on material goes on the air and teach students who want to be in the media business and see them succeed is a good feeling. Sorry for the long comment, but I had to say what needed to be said and once again I repect you a whole Dani and keep on doing what you do, and thank you.

Olen, my comment is at one time when I was younger, I was homeless too, however, just like Dani said "I boot strapped it," and got my degree and worked at a very good company and now I want to give back to other who might have similar circumstances, you would be surprised the number of college students who seriously struggle while getting an education, and as I said before, I am lucky to be given a big break, but, I also earned that opportunity, so in a nut shell, that is the story Olen.

I was hoping the majority would be given to the Love Kitchen. Feeding the poor. AND these women are elderly themselves. They were very grateful for the $20K though and it certainly does feed a lot of people. I was so touched by this!!!

Guys, according to the Love kitchen website, Ellen Turner passed away in April 22nd, 2015. T-T RIP Ellen.
This is the best thing i have ever seen, omg im crying i hardly cry but this lady make me cry.. for the love and compassion she shows to the needy people, i have seen here poeple saying that she did not give much even though she is millionaire , but dont for get that, any money is allot if you dont have it. what ever amount she gave , its allot to them, and the best thing is knowing to give something back to the same people that make you rich in the fist place..:)

I don't care how selfish (or honourable) the motivations of these millionaires are, if they are donating money to those that slipped though the cracks they are champs to me. We all know this system is structured to make the rich, richer and keep the poor, poor. I have never heard of a self made millionaire that does not acknowledge luck was a part of their success as hard work and brains won't do it alone.

Those rich people s in Indian learn from this ...I never ever heard or seen in TV Indian millionaire giving away helping poor ..all they do is differentiate between rich and poor communities and they look down upon the poor and needy ..and the worst is the govt and those political people all the scheme for the poor they injoy the money sending Thier kid to abroad buy whatever they wants..the poor will become poorer and the rich will become richer ..this happen in Indian society and community..in most of the Indian region still they maintain or practice the high caste and low caste they don't even wanna talk to the poor and they torture the poor people this are the fact practising in many regions. Of India..
