    Love your reviews! Simple, consider the audience and what they want to now. I did get fit and ended up with 6 and up in Pro and 7 down in MP 225. Thank you!

    Good job. I do love those Mizuno golf clubs. Even on a mishit they do quite well. You do a very good job of reviewing them. Thanks.

    Just discovered your channel and really appreciate how you reviewed the Mizuno club. Thank you. I get lost with the swing analysis reviews and enjoyed your down to earth approach. I’ve been looking at the Mizuno 923 because my Ping G425 5i and 7i are breaking again, I maybe chunking them and thinking that having a thinner bezel would help. I did get fitted into my Pings but honestly didn’t think it was thorough as he kept leaving.

      Hey good choice. The Hot metal pro is a great club. I played ping and these clubs totally outperform the g425

    Mine just came in today leaving for Columbus Ohio to Par discount golf to pick them up in the morning. I bought the Hot Metal standard and was hitting them the absolute straightest of the 6 irons I was hitting. Stealth and Callaway was tied for second.

    Hi Jim……great review……my questions is if you can usually strengthen the lofts on irons…..I have been playing the D9 and I love the lofts…..but I want you to build me a set of D9 forged. Can you match the lofts? Thanks

    Great review.. where are you located ? Looking to get fit for new irons, played the 921pros for 2 seasons now and have made some swing changes. Wondering if changing or upgrading equipment now would help or even just help me to keep improving my game.

    Jim, can a shaft that is too stiff result in a loss of clubhead speed? I tried the DG X100 vs S300 and the clubhead speed with the S300 was 1-2 mph faster. My clubhead speed with a 7 iron is ~94/95 mph.

    Love you honesty and pro comments. Compare to Stealth irons?

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not hi the stealth's but have have them in the shop for repairs. I would think the stealth would be a bit further as the lofts are stronger but the feel or control would go to the 923s

    Love the JPX 923 HL, i have a swing speed of high 80's and low 90's so i thought they were not going to be for me but after i saw the spin rates and height with no loss of distance I knew they were the ones for me because I really wanted that stopping power. 7 iron spin at in the mid to high 6,000 rpm range and still hitting it 175+ accurate, had me sold.

    What do you think about bending the pros weak 1 or 2 degrees? I tried them the other day , felt amazing just went a little far for a 7 iron 195 yards

    I’m currently playing JPX800 Pro Forged model with True Temper Dynamic Gold 105 S300 shafts. The irons were re-shafted this year with the 105’s instaed of the originals that were the 120 gm weights. I really like them. When the 921’s came out I was interested so I went for a fitting. The fitter suggested the JPX921 Hot Metals but my concern was a the stronger lofts. I’m a 6.5 handicap at age 72 and might be interested in changing this year. I would likely prefer the 923 pro model since the lofts in the shorter clubs are more near the lofts of the 800’s. My 7 iron should be 33 deg i believe. Any input about choice? I also like the MizunoPro 223’s due to the look and lofts. Thanks for the review.

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  ปีที่แล้ว

      both the 225 and the 923 pros will be stronger than the 800s. but I would think you would gain about one club

    I currently game the 921 pros and I came across the 923 pros in store and immediately noticed the difference in size. Which was my only complaint about the 921 pro. They just seem a little too big for my eye. Can’t beat the feel best feeling iron I’ve ever hit. I’ll be trading up to the 923 pro very soon.

      Had my fitting today and hit Callaway Paradighm, Taylormade Stealth and the JPX923 hot metal. Nothing I hit compared to the spin rates, distance and dispersion that the Mizunos had so they're going in the bag.
