    This is by far the best and most detailed video that I've seen on wheel bearings for a patriot. Thank you.

    Brother you saved me a lot of headache. I'm a mechanic by trade but each vehicle is different and I love watching these videos to find out more about new vehicles. I own a patriot two wheel drive 2016 but I noticed most of the videos on TH-cam were about four wheel drives. I'm really glad you decided to do one on a two-wheel drive because I have friends that have two wheel drive Patriots as well that will benefit from this video. Thank you my friend thank you so much and I will be subscribing

    Went in for a clutch, mechanic said I needed rear hub assemblies replaced. Now I believe I know why my ABS/traction control light keeps randomly coming on/off. Going to be doing this myself to save some money after the $1900 clutch replacement.. Appreciate the tutorial! ❤ thank you

    Excellent video! Best video on this replacement I've come across. As soon as I get some warmer weather (it's January in Pennsylvania) I'll be doing this.

    Thanks for the video Mano. Mine needs a new hub assembly and shoes...thing is, I've tried beating around the drum but I can't get it off... Im guessing the previous owner never had them changed and they've worn into the drum so badly that it's made a groove or something. The Haynes manual ive got is telling me to go through the back and turn that sprocket. But the damn brake spoon is too big... ugh, problem after problem lol. Idk what to do now. Sucks...

    Hey brother I'm in the middle of doing this job right now and the brake drum isn't wanting to come off it's coming off slightly but I can feel that it's catching the shoes and no matter how many times I try to tilt and move it back and forth it just simply won't slide off

    I'm struggling to find the bolts that attach the hub to the trailing arm since mines are really rusted and I have to replace them, I see they're 10.9 but nowhere in the internet to find them. Does anyone know the part number for those 4 bolts?

    it's the same hub, for brake disc on a patriot 4x4 2008

    • @curtisbaugher4904
      @curtisbaugher4904 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is not for a 4×4, it can't be there is no drive shaft going into the rear wheel

  • @familytabrizi76
    @familytabrizi76 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you are driving in Canada and have 4x4 just don't try it at home no no too rusty, you need power tools+ very strong rust remover+++, his car is American driven + is not 4 wheel.

    The only time you use that spacer is when the ABS sensor might mount too deep into the well, so if you put the sensor in and it doesn't bottom out inside and touch magnetic surface then do not put the spacer in, and if you put the sensor in place and you feel it is not going all the way in then use the spacer.
