    I just watched 3 episodes of your story which on a long walk. I found my sister at 32. She was the product of my father's first marriage. I always knew she existed but even my father hadn't seen her since she was 7 months old. When we finally found each a hole was filled in our hearts. She is now my best friend.

      I'm glad you have had that experience. I don't have any contact with my half siblings.

    So lovely! Tears everywhere aha. I’m in the same position. I haven’t met my half brother and sister yet. Spoken on the phone to my brother and it’s crazy how much I look like the both of them. I feel like I’ve been missing them this whole time and now everything feels better already x

    Wow, so emotionally awed with your story. I found my bio dad at 61 yrs of age, hoping for siblings on his side but so far none. He died in 2018. I was rejected by some family members of half cousins and his wife after he died. In further research other distant cousins connected with me through Ancestry. Come to find out my dads mother had an affair and he and his twin brother had a different father. Imagine my confusion. I thought I finally knew who I was, but now once again not sure.
    I'm so happy for you and all your half siblings. It's scary yes but what a true blessing for all of you. Thanks for sharing your story.

    I heard of someone who married their half brothers half sister, because they were not related, but both of them were related to their half brother. It must have been awkward when they all got together knowing this!

    Thanks for posting these. I learned my mother’s fertility doctor used his own sperm instead of the sperm donor my parents picked. These videos are very comforting

    I have to say I loved watching this video. I am currently going through the same thing. I was adopted 48 years ago and grew up in a loving family. I always craved to know my biological family. In 2021 I found them only to find out my biological mom had passed away one month before finding her. Through all of this I found out I have a half brother and half sister. I met my half brother a month ago and it was the most surreal thing. Exactly as you described it. Probably one of the best hugs I ever had. I am hoping to meet my sister very soon. I loved watching your video and can relate so much!! So happy you found them !

      How did you process the fact that your mom died just before you met her? Did you feel guilty somehow? Did you grieve?

    • @jennifermance6585
      @jennifermance6585 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sleepnomore6065 I don’t think it was guilt but sadness. I had lost that possibility of meeting her. Although now knowing some of the history I know it was probably for the best. Getting to know my brother and sister and their kids has been so fulfilling. For the first time I feel complete and it’s so cool to have something of my own. Also crazy to have people that look like me.

    Very poetic story. I wish that you could number each video, because I am clicking randomly and missing huge chunks of the story development

    I've just discovered I have a Half Sister from my father after thirty plus years of active searching....I've reached out to her but sadly still no response....your story makes me tearful with a whole spectrum of emotions....I hope my story ends as beautiful as yours...thank you for sharing this with me.....
    You said it best ..the fear of me rejecting ME.
