thanks for the video. i also have a 2021 aw polo gti. i have wanted to changed the sound of the car with minor adjustment to the exhaust just put it off because i didnt want to affect maintenance plan. so good to find out more info about this thanks again.
Hey mate! Nice video 👌 I love the way you try different exhaust configuration like me and share it on youtube ❤️ I think you find the perfect sound now! For me a daily it's to loud, I just buy a Milltek catback to fit with my Milltek downpipe with sport cat! Can't wait !
Hey mate!👍🏼Thanks. This is the same setup we spoke about, just decided to do a video on it 😁 Like your videos too bro. Keep posting! The more content we have on these cars the better. I think this is the one I am happy with for now. Would love to have Miltek but its to expensive to import😅
Just a question bro. I bought the 2019 version of this car 2 months ago and it seems the exhaust is modified however I am not sure what was modified exactly but I see the muffler at rear is still there. Does this not affect the maintenance plan that the car still has with VW? If so do you know if it's possible to go back to stock?
Awesome! Welcome to the club 😁 My car has been in for Maintenence with no muffler and resonator and VW said nothing. No issues with Maintenence plan. It also depends on your relationship with your service advisor. Always tip them and try to build a friendship. Though modifications such as these shouldn't affect your warranty. I got some feedback from another AW GTI owner who has the same setup as me at the moment (Sec cat delete, Res delete and Muffler delete) and he told me his car went in for service and they said nothing too. They said that it's fine as long as you don't trigger your check engine light and with anything after the downpipe you won't trigger a light. The only mod you need to stay away from is the primary cat/downpipe and tuning. A tune and downpipe is an immediate void of your engine and gearbox warranty! Ofcourse its not fair to uphold VW to your exhaust warranty or exhaust maintenance if you have made modifications. The straight pipe catback being warranty safe is something I can only say based on my experience and other owners cant say for certain it would be the same in your case, so don't hold me to it 😄😅 Enjoy your new car and you are always welcome to ask any questions.✌️
@@carcrazyguysa4059 Thank you very much, quite informative. I have also asked someone I know who owns an R-Line with exhaust modifications and he told me the same thing.
@@carcrazyguysa4059 Hi Gents, i was also concerned about this so i took my car (2020 Polo GTI) to powerflow today and they removed the sec cat and everything behind that to straight pipe it and it is sounding very very spicy 😁. So, in your experience they won't say anything about it because i was thinking i must put it back in again because i dont want to void anything.
There definitely is drone especially on the freeway, but I have gotten used to it. Just my opinion but the drone is not that bad once you have it this way for a few weeks but everyone has different tolerance😅👍🏼
@OomStu ZA It does! It adds so much-needed life to the car. I just couldn't deal with the stock exhaust. I daily my car as well and I don't find it that annoying. I guess you have to experiment to see if it works for you.
Hey bro, your exhaust system definitely. Everything else should be covered as long as you don't touch your downpipe or tune your car. It also depends on your relationship with your dealership and service advisor. Most guys I know haven't had any issues by doing this. Don't hold me to it, though 😅
sounds amazing. Just wish you'd make the videos a bit longer and take the car for runs maybe along the freeway or something... where we can hear those pipes more but otherwise please upload more regularly. Your car is really dope bro.
Thanks bro👍🏼I would love to do longer videos but my analytics show that viewers don't stick around for longer than 3 mins. If people are not watching the full video that puts me at a disadvantage to grow my channel🤦🏻 Nonetheless lot more content planned, thanks for the support✌️
Hi Mate great video. I’ve recently bought a 22 plate gti. I’ve had my back box out and didn’t get farts but this weekend I’m getting my resonator removed. Do you think I will have farts then? Really want more noise. I spoke to the guy last time who removed my back box and he said to have my cat removed I’d have to have it mapped because there is sensors either side of it.
Bro I got a 2021 Polo GTI. How do I get my cab to sound like urs it's damn amazing.

Nice man! Sounds amazing. I still need to mod mine but saving up for it so sooner or later I'll join the club.
Thanks man👍🏼 It will be worth it once you make the mod trust me 😁
Hey bro are you on instagram? I’d like to pick your brain about dsgs
Your car is my dream car
I hope you get one of your own soon ✌️
This is perfect mate!

❤❤big ups to you brother... best decision iv made on mine all thanks to you...really makes the car much more fun to drive.
Haha 😁👍🏼 Pleasure bro, definitely exhaust gives this car some much needed life😆

Please can I ask how much did you pay for the exhaust system
Roughly R2k

You still have the GPF ?
No, GPF is not required for South African cars. This setup is res delete+muffler delete+sec cat delete. Primary cat still in place.
Howzit man. Did you try with the primary cat delete and the secondary cat on? With the straight pipe?
It’s completely Straight?
Just stock primary cat in place. Sec cat, resonator and muffler deleted for a full straight pipe.
@@carcrazyguysa4059 stock Downpipe and central?
@@alescireable Only stock downpipe everything else deleted/straight pipe
@@carcrazyguysa4059 thank you for quick responses, I have a 2019 polo gti. I watched all your videos, you are the best for me!!

Actually Straight pipe means from the turbo lol
Fart is stock or activated in the control unit?😳😍
Stock bro😁 you just gotta ring it out upto 4k rpm then shift quick. But its only possible with this exhaust setup
