Thanks😁 Just a little to raspy sometimes😅 Definately planning on doing a couple videos on just fuel consumption and how to reduce fuel consumption in performance cars.
Truthfully I hated this setup! I ran it for maximum 2 weeks before I just got fed up with it and stuck my resonator back in. I would never recommend a full straight pipe. The vibrations in the car make it unbearable to live with. Not to mention the violent cold start in the morning which can easily peak over 130db. This was just experimental for me and I doubt I will ever go back to this setup. The only pro is that your turbo can breathe better but I feel cars need atleast a little bit of back pressure. The cons far outweigh pros of which there aren't many other than feeling like you're driving a track car. I will have a video on exhaust setups in the new year so keep an eye out for that one!✌️
Hey bud 👋 for this specific video I was just using my phone Samsung Galaxy A20 or Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge😅. It was a really long time ago, I don't recall exactly. I have since started using a Go Pro Hero 8.
In this video it was a full straight pipe, no cats, no res, no muffler. I don't recommend it. Way to loud to live with daily. Bare minimum need to keep the stock resonator.
@@carcrazyguysa4059 alright thanks for replying back. But I think it sounds nice especially the dsg farts you don’t have to rev it all the way to hear them
@agentridge5283 👍🏼 Yeah its definitely better for DSG farts but way too raspy. Trust me on video it really doesn't come across well. Not to mention the vibrations in the car and raucous cold start is too much in my opinion. Not worth it. I just added in my stock resonator and it was a perfect setup. Though not warranty friendly.
I'm not running this setup anymore it was a bit too annoying for daily use. To answer your question: -No OPF in South Africa -Catless downpipe -Sec Cat delete -Resonator delete -Muffler delete Basically a full straight pipe 😄😬😅
@@carcrazyguysa4059 Thanks you my friend. The sound is beautiful. what country are you from? I am French and the police do not like downpipe and no Opf… 😢
@@Pablito_bike 👍 Thanks brother! I am from South Africa. Yes unfortunately EU has become very strict. Things are not so strict here. As long as we don't annoy anybody in residential areas the cops don't really mind. Though some can be difficult. Some will stop you just to hear your car 😅. I'm sure we will eventually get the same regulations here too. Sadly with your strict laws there isnt much you can do with your exhausts. Maybe you could do a muffler delete + resonator delete and a high flow cat downpipe (sports cat).
@@carcrazyguysa4059 yes and unfortunately now in the EU we also have the OPF on petrol engines. this is problematic because I intend to put a downpipe and leave the second catalyst (which acts as sport cats ). and as I intend to switch to ethanol, this will allow me to pass the technical control. however the OPF which allows it to filter out other particles there is no "cheat" solution. but I think that if I leave the OPF and the second catalyst and I put downpipe and straight pipe it will already be good 😝. yes in Africa it's like in America he does not look at the polution but the laws will change I agree. we in Europe are starting to have a lot of electric cars because they no longer want heat engines which will be banned for sale in 2035. There are a lot of Teslas now.. it's beautiful but there is no more noise ..
@@doomldn718 It would help if the car had a 7th gear but the drone in my opinion is not too bad at cruising speed but it depends on the road, uphill it just drones and drones 😖 I have such love hate situation with this exhaust setup. That's already a huge upgrade. From 147kw to 193kw. Does it shoot flames as well? Must be be very quick. Also did you put in coilovers, if yes, which ones? Need to make my car more alive
Not sure where you got the info from 😄my car is still stock 147kw. I haven't tuned it (yet😉). I'm not sure if my car shoot flames 😅 never seen it from behind, sure sounds like it though especially with the brutal DSG farts. My car is still on stock suspension but I plan on installing the Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs soon (my car has the adaptive dampers so limited on what I can change). The best mod you can do to this car to breathe some life into it is a catless downpipe + muffler delete! Don't take out your resonator its too much 😆.

😆If you consider the original vacuum cleaner exhaust to be a "nice sound" I don't know what to say...its subjective what sounds good to one person might not to another. I will admit its a bit too raspy but I like it...just my opinion
@@carcrazyguysa4059 The original 'vacuum cleaner' sound does actually sound better than that. that doesn't sound nice at all. It sounds like a blowing exhaust, as if you've hit a speed ramp too fast and damaged a box. Everyone to their own I suppose, just my honest opinion. Probably the same opinion as pedestrians and neighbours as you drive past. As long as you are happy, that's all that matters.
I love how deep it sounds when you're just cruising around boet.. could you include the current fuel consumption in the gauge cluster next time..
Thanks😁 Just a little to raspy sometimes😅

Fuel consumption seems good👌🏽
You need an intake man. The sounds are so good
Whats your thoughts on muffler delete bro?
Nice, but i’m surprised someone hasn’t filled your exhaust with foam already.
😂You so rude. But even I hated it I got rid of this setup within a week. I couldn't deal with it. Sounded sh*t!😅 Much more calmer sounding now.
i have a question how can i get louder dsg farts without making sound too loud, yey yours sound awesome but too loud for me
Could you maybe explain what are the pros and cons of straight piping, because I got mixed opinions when asking different people

Hi where did u get ur exhaust system
Stainless Steel Downpipe & Fooler from Mr Turbo in Killarney.
The rest is all basic mild steel from Powerflow.
Which country is this in?
South Africa bro
Sounds amazing my bru🤭
OPF version? Downpipe?
No opf required in South Africa, yes Catless downpipe and full straight pipe no silencers
