- In this video, Awesome’s Tabby talks us through the installation of an @APRtube exhaust system for the VW Polo GTI (AW).
In a world of OPFs that muffle the tone of modern cars, APR’s stainless-steel exhaust systems are designed to give your vehicle a little more of a distinct sound, whilst remaining road-friendly and drone-free for day-to-day driving.
APR is perhaps best known for its top-quality ECU and TCU tuning packages, but its range of hardware, including exhaust systems, is equally as top-notch. If you want the best, look no further!

That sounds great, deeper than stock without being crazy loud!
Always impressed with the quality of APR products👌
I got a cat-back milltek for my non OPF 2018 GTI and its perfect
Slightly more deeper exhaust note, but I was hoping to hear the DSG farts being as loud as big brother Golf GTI.
Lovely looking setup. Sounds very similar to the Scorpion GPF-back system from what I can tell.
So glad we dont get opf or secondary cats mine just has a catless down pipe and bmc filter and it bangs and farts like crazy
Thank you you are the first channel to upload a real soundvideo of the opf version apr catback.
Could you please tell me if you can hear the dsg farts in the cabin and if it burbles in the cabin manually downshifting?
Thanks so much. :)
@awesomecars1 could you answere please?
With the car still retaining the OPF, it enhances it slightly but not a lot.
The burbles when down shifting are really nice :)
So will you be doing sports cats that retain the gpf?
No, removing the GPF wouldn't be an option for us. Only once EC approved performance GPFs become available will they look at offering a replacement.
@@awesomecars1 i meant, creating sports cats that keep the gpf still…
@@ad_182_ukas the GPF and downpipe are attached on most VAG cars; until a manufacturer comes allong that can offer an e-marked sports cat downpipe complete with a factory or e-marked GPF - it’s not likely.
Where rear diffuser from ?
Rieger :)
Front lip spoiler?
Maxton v3
Is this really £1300
Same like Milltek exhaust for Golf 7.5R, waist of money... On OPF option is only removing last box and then you finally have sound 🙂
Just not worth the money cannot believe companies are selling this. Virtually the same price tag with only slight difference over stock. All gpf cars now sound so poor leaving many having to run the risk of just removing the gpf.
Get more out of a Res delete.
I had a milltek on my 20 plate gti and wouldn't buy again. now have a 72 plate and bought a pipe dynamics resonator delete to go in. At 1300 pounds i'd be disappointed.
Not much different.
I thought the same.
