Labour's Sadiq Khan has been re-elected as London mayor - could this mean trouble for the Tories?

- Labour’s Sadiq Khan has been re-elected to City Hall for a historic third term as he cruised to victory in the London mayoral elections.
Khan secured 1,088,225 votes, compared to Conservative rival Susan Hall’s 812,397, delivering him a majority of 275,828 - or 11.1 per cent - and a 43.8 per cent share of the vote.
In third place, Liberal Democrat Rob Blackie secured 145,184 votes - closely followed by the Green Party’s Zoë Garbett on 145,114.
Reform UK’s Howard Cox came fifth on 78,865, while Count Binface - in third to last place on 24,260 - beat Britain First’s Nick Scanlon on 20,519.

I don't think he imported his voters. But he does things to buy votes. The majority of Londoners are experiencing a cost of living crisis, so khan invests the money he should be spending on public services and police by using it to keep bus fares low and give struggling families free school meals. Then khan looks like a real hero to those who are just trying to make ends meet and who don't really care about the bigger issues affecting the city.

Who could have been serious about a dustbin for Mayor of London - not me, at least Mr Khan has the stamina to do the job, fight for us and get some things done, unsure about knife crime, as his critics had condemned him, be interesting to see how things pan out.
Knife Crime is no where near as bad as you think in London. Firstly the MET are very aggressive on knife Crime and so it looks high, because Knife crime includes carrying small pocket knives and very sharp pencils (one child was pulled up and taken away for a very sharp pencil no joke).
Actual deaths in London from Knife crime is not that high (high for London) but not that bad.
If we look at violent crime and sexual assault stats for London it is one of the safer parts of the UK, when you factor in population, Crime per capita is lower in London than the majority of the nation, Merseyside is the worst, Yorkshire, Midlands, the North East are worse than London and a few more.
