- Sadiq Khan has won an unprecedented third term as London Mayor, securing the second-largest victory margin in the city's history. The Labour candidate garnered 1,088,225 votes, surpassing his main rival, Tory candidate Susan Hall, by a majority of 275,828 votes.
This victory marks a historic achievement, as Mr. Khan is the first London mayor to secure a third term in office. His term will extend until 2028.
In his victory speech, Mr. Khan expressed his gratitude, calling it the "honour of my life" to serve the city. Despite a brief interruption by the defeated Britain First candidate, Khan remained humble, stating he was "beyond humbled" by the support.

I am an American living in Florida. In a Republican state, city, and county. I watch what is going on in your country as well as ours and see the results of the vote. Yesterday I watched a video recording what is going on in NYC, stores closing, or empty stores with licked items. rampant crime. Immigration issues etc. Meanwhile I have been in several stores where everything is fully stocked with nothing locked, and more importantly, I feel safe. NYC is a mess because of the politicians who have been voted in and the policies they have chosen. There us a difference between our parties. If you take note, the cities that are in chaos are the ones who voted for liberal candidates who all seem to be members of the Democratic party.
I went to the University of Florida. I was very pleased that the head of the Univerdity told the students there would be no protesting on campus. If they skipped classes to protest, they would be expelled. That is what these young college pro Palestinian kids rioting on campus never learned, accountability.

It could be, but there is always the possibility of voter fraud, it's likely we won't be able to question this and even look if there is a case of fraud via postal votes, despite the fact a Peterborough politician was convicted of voter fraud...and he was representing labour. It's a legit question that should be asked. And frankly postal votes should only be given to those with a legitimate reason as to why they can go to the polling station, like they have severe mobility issues, or they're for example a surgeon who has multiple surgeries the day of the election and cannot get t vote, or say if someone is a member of the armed forces and out of the country, same goes for people away on business. No on who can go and vote on the day should be given a postal vote, there's people who simply prefer to use postal who should be going to the polling station, who put elections at risk by by ping up the use of postal votes, that are proven without a doubt able to be corrupted and distorted.

I'm born in London a real londoner I now live just inside Essex where we have the tube but we are not allowed to vote for the mayor even though we are affected by all of his choices. This happens in all of the outskirts of London so the people voting for him can have lived in London for a few weeks yet are allowed to do so. Students from anywhere, recent arrivals, and trust fund kids having their urban journey whilst trashing my city who will then go back to their country pile. London, beautiful London as it once was is finished. Its so sad to witness, but many like me are totally unable to have a voice

He has wasted vast amounts of money on vanity projects. Crime is soaring especially violent Crime. Nightlife has closed, traffic congestion is at an all-time high with high levels of pollution. Housing is unaffordable and people live on the Streets often with multiple addiction/mental health issues.
Every time there is a problem he blames Central Government and/or Racism. If something goes right, he takes full credit.

Khan is a dick, but to be fair nearly all of the issues you mention are down to ridiculous levels of immigration over the last 20 years, and you can blame the ENTIRE Westminster political class for that. NO party has had a proper grip on immigration levels in recent decades. And the last two years have broken all records for net immigration. It's a total debacle. In the General Election I will vote for the Reform party after voting tory for the last three elections.
