Wow this Tesla fan boy designer just ruined BMW’s bread and butter cash machine. He thought he could use cheap recyclable plastic and fabric, use Temu sourced door handles and steal Tesla customers? Just because they have video games and garish LEDs? Fool never realized that BMW customer never cross shopped Tesla in the first place. You can’t even get real leather at any price point and they didn’t forget to raise prices by like 15%. You can “option” this to $85k. Last year’s top was $73k. Absurd!! This will be a huge sales flop in the US. They deserve it

And, what is with the interior lighting system? It feels like a half-ass circus lighting!!! All of these new design languages make Chris Bangel's design heavenly. Take the BMW logo out, and then see what people have to say. Cheap Toyota or Kia design.
Unlike many of the other commenters I an liking the exterior look of the 2025 X3… the interior is low quality and poorly designed and material selection and lighting looks very Target store to me… I was strongly considering buying it but read today that it is being built in the USA and in the third world country of South Africa…. This is a definite non-starter for me… I want my BMW built in Germany.
X3 has always been built in South Africa. Not only the upcoming model but the outgoing model has been built in South Africa. How racist you are. Most German cars are not actually built in Germany. You demonstrate your ignorance of how the car industry actually works. There are logistic and economic reasons why cars are built in certain places. Designed by BMW and built by BMW in South Africa and other countries.
the interior fit and finish is not the same as it used to be, looks like the quality has gone down but will need to see one in real life to know for sure
BMW Aust currently have no plans to add or stock a diesel variant for 2025. BMW Aust dont appear to have apparently lodged any necessary docs regarding the importation of any X3 oilers , nor how many diesel vehicles are required. Though it is possible that it could & can still be ordered as a special dealer import . But dealers would require a specific amount of private orders to make it viable .

I'm not sure why people complain so much about the exterior. I think it is much better than the existing model. I do have 2018 X3 m40i, and I think this looks much elegant and modern. The rear looks like a mix of current X3 and X4. The front headlamp is definitely an upgrade. The interior also looks more modern.. however the only downside is replacing physical buttons with digital haptic buttons
I can guarantee you that the cost of putting your 2018 car together is about 30% higher than this newer car. Getting rid of buttons etc is pure cost cutting. The car also costs 130k now. People should boycott the brand and it will stop disrespecting its consumers.

Looks modern and much cleaner than previous model. Love the exterior. Will be a huge hit in US market.
