Thank you so much! It really does a lot for someone to notice nearly all of the little things I put into this. I'll add a few fun facts that may be interesting. You're right, it's very hard to find models for these monsters, some I had to just recolor to make them kind of close to what I needed. Like curse of Dragonfire, magician of chaos, Magi Magi Magician gal, and Ebon illusion magician are all recolors of a different model. And yes! The fact of how Kaiba is content with the Pharaoh leaving because he recognizes both Yugi and the Pharaoh as the King of Games is awesome. The Pharaoh would’ve lost as he was left behind in his time of the ancient game, even if he used the newer, modern cards of his Dark Magician and his old deck, Kaiba’s advantage with having synchros would’ve given him the edge to allow his victory, but Yugi also borrowed from the future, or more so a different dimension of the game with xyz’s. The future marches forward from the past, in the direction the latter directed the former to, not in the haze of fading memory, but in recognition of what was, is, and going to be, even what it can be, symbolized with the Pharaoh’s Age as the King of Games, to Yugi being passed down the title, to Kaiba learning synchro summoning from the future, to Yugi learning to Xyz summon from what the game is in a different 'dimension'. I’m just being a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh and how well this capsulated everything so well, with how interconenctive we've seen the shows are with certain movies, series, etc. The moment the Pharaoh returned reminded me of my first time watching the transformation the first time, goosebumps.
I actually like this a lot. I was complaining in the beginning with Atem coming back to save Yugi, but I loved words the ending. Technically, Atem was defeated, but Yugi came back and showed us why he's the modern King of Games. I appreciated the fact that Yugi won. Thanks so much for this animation
Wow, pretty good quality all things considered. Would love to see an alternate take on the GX Graduation duel between Jaden and Zane with their modern support if you end up doing more of these.
I noticed that yugi used exactly 39 and we already saw the last card so its awesome for you to show us all his deck. Sadly we didn't get to see kaiba deck
This just feels like what I needed in years being a Yu-Gi-Oh anime fan, bonds connected through time, to know that Takahashi-sensei story with the manga lives on this way, man.. I miss him yet I guess people who would be connected with his work are right here, everywhere related to this video. Thanks for such a wonderful moment, this may be personal but I would want to believe that the true king of game is watching over Yu-Gi-Oh and us from up there, having a smile or even laughs with some his late fans, and that's all!
This is amazing on so many levels, great VA work, and very good animation, and by all means this feels like a genuine duel I can see in the anime. Also Kaiba going to the future is not the craziest thing he could do so it somehow makes more sense than him going to the afterlife.
If I gotta occasionally give 4kids credit it'll be them giving Yugi just as much presence as Atem when it comes to strategies and thoughts in their duels, Atem being the muscle and Yugi being the brains
I wish duels were more like this again, the back and fourth the decision making, no less everyday is pretty much an OTK summoning 10 plus monsters in a turn and games ending in 1-2 turns or who wins the die roll Also this video was amazing not sure how long this took to make but I would love to see a Jaden be Aster Phoenix match since they are rivals as well
The difference between anime and reality is that: 1. anime characters tend to hold back, meaning they don't expend their entire hand to build a board or combo off. Probably in the later series. I just finished 5Ds. So when their opponent finds a way to cook them, they have plan B to fall on. 2. Anime characters have insane draw power to cut through their Deck faster and build their hand for the next turn. 3. Anime characters stick to their pure archetype or whatever Deck they build with about 3 staples like Monster Reborn, Mirror Force, & Raigeki. So you wouldn't see them build a board full of Omni negates and a bunch of counters. In fact, Omni negates were considered the boss monsters that they had to work to build up, which made it even more impactful on how they found a way with like 2 cards in hand 1 facedown and somehow blow up their whole board or got enough ATK to simply go for game.
@@UTgohan A lot of monsters didn't have floating effects too. Once you dealt with a monster, it was done for. No effect to add cards to hand, special summon from the deck, banish something to revive it, etc. Usually they would have a really good effect that would dominate the monsters but since we gotten spells and traps that can easily handle monsters to where you wouldn't need to battle, they had to make more immunity. Which is fine by me. Helps keep it more narrow to where you have to actually beat it to get rid of it. Instead of a cheap trick to remove it. But even boss monsters these days basically do the same thing their materials do when they leave the field by recycling cards to their hands to summon another copy or cook something else up.
@@UTgohan Usually I see the traps and spells as handling the smaller guys, karma cut their materials, floodgates trap hole all their pendulum summons, (that's actually a toxic move I pulled in Duel Links 😆), but simple moves to keep them from trying to summon their main monsters they use for their board.

I honestly love this video so much!!!
Stumbled upon this and have to give praise and thanks, amazing job! From the character writing to the faithfulness to the OG cards and the retrains that came after, this is absolute gold. My only feedback would be that I did notice the pharaoh getting blasted back by Neo Blue-Eyes’ attack where Kaiba was never physically affected, even when he took 3k to the chin from Dark Magician of Chaos. Also, I think Kaiba would have struggled to accept this loss as readily as he does here. Even if just for a moment, I feel like he would have been in disbelief that he was wrong about Yugi after all these years. But these are just my opinions and you and your team did an amazing with this!
I double that! Because this actually shows Yugi in charge. Not yet another recycle theme that cancels all the buildup of Yugi surpassing his other half. Here we actually see him TRULY take over
Because it wasn't often that they used their extra deck and this time it was "more modern" than in every duel they've ever had. This is the closest we've ever gotten to a modern Yugi vs Kaiba duel.
This was some amazing work, I’ve actually started my voice acting career with the Yugioh Characters so I’d be more then happy to help if you were interested in further vocal accuracy in the future with. If you reach out I’ll send over a list of the voices:) cheers lads
This is an amazing video. Thank you for taking the time to make it. Not only did you make it a good duel that actually followed the rules of yugioh but you kept the meaning of the show in having yugi not pharaoh win. you also gave closure to kiba in that he beat pharoah but not yugi! amazing vid and a testament to the fact that u can make entertaining content and follow the rules of the game!
Bro this is fire ! When Yami dropped dark illusion it made me feel like I was playing master duel I got hype and jumped out my chair no circle on board but I know the video was still cooking / unfolding 🎉
I like to think this is the alternate timeline in which BBT movie took place. Everything is mostly the same excpet that kaiba having probably kept track of the duel somehow(cameras, duel disk, footage etc) and explores the idea of synchro summoning and makes new cards for himself(as in dsod). And by introducing it to the world DM would probably accelerate their mechanics instead of 40-50+ years to develop.
Very good. Good animation, accurate Yu-Gi-Oh! play, good voice acting. It would have been funny if Yugi had been playing Pendulum Magicians though. I really wish Magi Magi Magician Gal could have been released in the TCG.
So, wait. We had the prequel film of Kaiba traveling to the future and dueling Jack to learn Synchro Summoning, and Yugi says his Xyz Summoning comes from another dimension. Does that mean there could potentially be a *second* prequel of Yugi learning Xyz Summoning by dueling Yuma?
Thanks a lot! I've recently watched some of your videos to help me understand some archetypes I want to use in the future! Would love to work on a something with you in the future! Let me know if that interests you!
Also with Kaiba tampering with the dimensions together with his "bleeding edge" state of the art technology known as Duel Links, duelists from other dimensions started appearing all over the place and with the appearance of Paradox, it has become problematic to turn things back to normal as it is.
Randomly stumbled across this. Its always great to see Yugi/Atem face Kaiba. So much to unpack here. First of all whomever wrote this script and orchestrated this duel is a TRUE Yugioh fan 😂😂😂😂😂😂 the details into everything is uncanny. Whomever is voicing Kaiba sounded EXACTLY like him in certain scenes. Got his cadence down perfectly and even some of the stuff he would say lmaoo. And while the actors of Yugi and Atem dont sound anything like them they, they did capture the essence of those 2. I love them keeping detail of after Yugi turned into Atem, whenever atem would be thinking, it would be Yugis voice. Dan Green was truly talented for doing that during the english version cause they didnt switch voices in the japanese. Also absolutely hilarious and acurate of after that major attack Atem screaming and getting knocked to the ground 😂😂😂😂😂 Love that Yugi still beat Kaiba even tho they saying the pharoah lost during his time. Technically tho, pharoah started dueling after so he didnt get a fair stake. Also kaiba didnt face the Egyptian God cards. Non the less i really enjoyed this duel using modern day yugioh mixed with classic yugioh. I wish they would expand the original Yugioh. It ended too early. The newer yugioh shows are not good at all.
The pharaoh relies on Egyptian god cards to win which Kaiba has counters for which isn't going to work because Neo Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon is stronger than all of the god cards. Slifer could work but Kaiba can just deprive Atem of his cards to lower its attack power. However, Yugi Muto shows exactly why he's the modern King of Games and he demonstrates that you don't need god cards to win.
15:10 that can't possibly be legal. "Oh, you're playing a top teir deck? Well, next year, K̶o̶n̶a̶m̶i̶ Pegasus releases a set with cards specifically designed to counter that deck! Haha who is king of games now Yugi? You really should have known I'd invent world changing technology and even figure out how to access the afterlife and bring you back to the world of the living just so I could beat you in a card game!"
This is most definelty part of my Saturday morning lineup! I digs this heavy ! Nostalgic feeling as I slide down my stairwell to the top of my fridge and grab Captain Crunch !

This was really good! I loved how the was so much going for it. The story and duel alone we stellar. Nice work!
This duel was actually even better than that duel of dark side of dimensions 🔥
I double that! Because this actually shows Yugi in charge. Not yet another recycle theme that cancels all the buildup of Yugi surpassing his other half. Here we actually see him TRULY take over
Because it wasn't often that they used their extra deck and this time it was "more modern" than in every duel they've ever had. This is the closest we've ever gotten to a modern Yugi vs Kaiba duel.
Amazing duel, Amazing Voice Acting, Amazing everything.
Excellent work bro. Truly enjoyed this!
This was some amazing work, I’ve actually started my voice acting career with the Yugioh Characters so I’d be more then happy to help if you were interested in further vocal accuracy in the future with. If you reach out I’ll send over a list of the voices:) cheers lads
I always announce auditions in my discord and community tab of this channel!
@@crispy_synchron sweet, what is the discord? I’ll send you a sample of lines
I absolutely love this duel! This full version is awesome. Well done 👍🏾👍🏾
That was an absolutely amazing video! I loved the voices for all of them:
absolutely a Masterpiece. and then without advertising. Nice Work Guys
I really loved Dark Side of Dimensions, i just really wished they made more episodes instead of just one movie 😭😭😭😭
we need a special where we see Kaiba face the Pharaoh for the final time
this was amazing to watch. I really look forward to what you have in store for the future
This should have WAY more views.
Gonna share it with my friends because this brought back lots of nostalgia.
Holy cow! This duel was AWESOME! 😮🤩🤩🤩
good shit! hope to see way more duels like this in the future.
This got recommended to me on the home page and im glad it happened, what a great duel and animation!
Such a great way to represent the current game with everyone's favorite rivalry
I think this made a lot more sense than the dsod version. I also like the outcome more! Well done!❤
(hears a familiar tune goes off) Whenever that tune goes off, that's when you know that little Yugi is taking a nap while Atem is gonna play
Absolutely great as always! I wonder how Yugi was able to learn Xyz summoning!
I don't remember Little Yugi going so hard on his attack declarations. My man needs a cough drop after these lol
Love little Yugi voice, especiallly when he screams during attacking lol
this is actually really good. why is there only 600 likes? so under rated
This is actually fkn sick. TH-cam recommendations strike again!
Bro this is fire ! When Yami dropped dark illusion it made me feel like I was playing master duel I got hype and jumped out my chair no circle on board but I know the video was still cooking / unfolding 🎉
Thanks! I know staples are better in real life but I try to incorporate more interesting answers to bad situations in my script if possible!
I like to think this is the alternate timeline in which BBT movie took place. Everything is mostly the same excpet that kaiba having probably kept track of the duel somehow(cameras, duel disk, footage etc) and explores the idea of synchro summoning and makes new cards for himself(as in dsod). And by introducing it to the world DM would probably accelerate their mechanics instead of 40-50+ years to develop.
i love the voices and the animation, i feel that yugi dub was tiring his throat trying to have a higher pitched voice
Why its always give me chills when yugi said partner
Very good. Good animation, accurate Yu-Gi-Oh! play, good voice acting.
It would have been funny if Yugi had been playing Pendulum Magicians though.
I really wish Magi Magi Magician Gal could have been released in the TCG.
1:35, kaiba cards, wow just wow😲
This was an amazing duel and they used actual cards and no shenanigans
I love the original roar of Blue Eyes White Dragon
say what u want these games are more entertaining than watching a competitive game
You are amazing at these
The animation was amazing! Keep this up!
Im shocked. This is a true masterpiece. WOW
I would have a battle royal with the heroes of each series of a duel.
The voice acting and production was amazing. I was so invested in this duel!
👀
Happy 25th Anniversary, Yu-gi-oh!
Not bad impressions of these two legendary duelists.
This was a huge treat to watch, excellent work!
Thanks a lot! I've recently watched some of your videos to help me understand some archetypes I want to use in the future! Would love to work on a something with you in the future! Let me know if that interests you!
@@crispy_synchron That sounds fantastic! Hit me up on Twitter/Discord/wherever and let's figure something out!
0:35 "Grrr-" 🥶🥶🥶
A magnificent duel!!
I love how Yami/Atem recognized Synchro Summoning because he dueled alongside Yusei in Bonds Beyond Time
Also with Kaiba tampering with the dimensions together with his "bleeding edge" state of the art technology known as Duel Links, duelists from other dimensions started appearing all over the place and with the appearance of Paradox, it has become problematic to turn things back to normal as it is.
Damn, we eating good on this one!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Omg this is freaking epic!!!! Outstanding job!!!! Clap clap clap!!!
Feels like a canon episode to me. Very well done in my opinion.
This was a pretty great duel. Was bit surprised that I didn’t see Jet Dragon.
Haha to be fair isn't that kind of what Paradox does in Bonds Beyond Time?
Great job!!! It's an amazing duel. I loved so much
The efforts in this is crazy
Your talented
that was awesome!!!!!! thanks!!!!
This is most definelty part of my Saturday morning lineup! I digs this heavy ! Nostalgic feeling as I slide down my stairwell to the top of my fridge and grab Captain Crunch !
2:37 I have flashbacks from duel links.
This was amazing work . Hats off to you
That psycho plays underworld circle but never thought to run necroface or d.d. dynamite...
How the hell this video has few views 😟? Incredible work 😃
I wish a game was like this
a love letter to the yu gi oh anime
Just as good as reboot and beast wars. The memories.
