Wow. I didn't quite expect to find something like this, but this is... REALLY well done. The voice acting is REALLY close to the originals-- I'm DEFINITELY eager to see if you come out with more content like this, more "what-if" duels that we never got to see. and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the detail of each of them having the life counter unique to their series. That's such a tiny detail that shows you care about what you're doing. Well done on your Kaiba voice especially! Maybe try to slow it down a little, though? That's the only advice I can offer on that front. Also, it feels like you're going for a "story" setup, but you throw us right in the deep end without any prep at all, it takes a little to catch up and feels like we've missed something. That's a problem that only gets worse when you introduce original characters. A little preamble introducing the situation, the characters and how we got here/what's going on, even if it's only a few slides of text with minimal voiceover, would go a LONG way to making this feel a lot smoother. Still, I'm VERY much looking forward to where your content goes next if THIS is where you're starting from! Keep it coming!
Wow I appreciate the long comment! This was my first time ever doing any kind of acting so I'm aware that my Kaiba was a bit imperfect but I do appreciate the feedback! And don't worry! The VRX series and this series are completely different universes! The reason I jump straight into the duel is honestly because I'm nervous that people won't care unless I jump right into things but maybe at least having one sentence of exchange before beginning isn't such a bad idea, kinda like how Fighting games do it!

You've done well with imitating Kiba's raspy voice, don't forget they are always; changing voice actors in anime, so I wouldn't worry too much about getting it to spot on. I wonder if using software that has vocal distortion would help? This may also save your vocal cords tons of compression and distortion, and try to use your lower abs (but not a crunching action) for better vocal support, with breath control (this will stop the vocal cords from doing the work and create a stronger sound.) I'm learning to sing, and I've passed on some advice that my vocal teacher has taught me to stop my voice from becoming sore and horse, and to prevent losing it. I hope you don't mind? Would you take on the challenge of Atem and Kiba? or Yami Yugi and Yami Marik? I'm going with Seto Kiba because I grew up with the original Yu-Gi-Oh series. You have my like.👍

While this was fun, I’ve gotta say it feels a bit unfair to have Jack using essentially just his own cards from the 5Ds era while outfitting Kaiba’s deck with so many cards from the meta defining ABC series (also Chazz’s cards, which were still better than some of Kaiba’s stuff). Even giving Jack those Traps adapted later on in the game’s lifespan; game-original cards generally feel on another level to adaptations of gimmicky anime/manga cards. So comparing their decks it’s like, “which one of these two was supposed to be from the past again?”

Hmm this wasn't played as well as it could of been. Especially with A assault and b drake you could of grabbed c rush with union hanger and abc buster dragon. And banished the competition sooner. So miss play on that part.
