The only exception is the Meeseeks Box, which is so good that I believe it would become I think the second card ever to be banned before even being put into circulation.
The writing for this is actually amazing. I don't know how Rick got Ra but I love how you gave him an entire custom deck with cards that not only fit him but also that make sense.
@@TheBd0g I mean, the anime had a card that made both players send all cards in their deck besides 3 cards to the GY, a card that banished all monsters in both decks and then destroyed all monsters on the field, a card that made both players draw until they had 6 cards, and a card that made you draw until you had 5 cards in your hand but made you discard your hand after 5 of your turns. I think that a card that lets you draw 3 but costs 1000 life points is reasonable. The only complaint I have is that Ra's effect wasn't correct but even the team behind Yu-Gi-Oh GX got its effect wrong so it's not a big deal.
@@Shugunou Paying 1000 life points to draw 3 cards is ridiculously op, that's basically a pot of greed on steroids, and pot of greed has been banned for a long time for how unbalanced it is (and that's only one of the effects, this has 3). But yes, there have been original cards, and actual cards that have been used in more ridiculous ways in the anime.
@G- It's ridiculously op in the real game but not in the anime where decks are usually less powerful. Pot Of Greed remained in use in the anime, even after being banned in real life. It wasn't until Vrains that they started applying the OCG banlist to the anime.

From what I noticed, he used two: the Susanoo, which typically requires two of these eyes, that he uses to try to protect himself from Slifer’s attack; and Izanagi, which is revealed at the end to have been active. The Izanagi makes it so that reality is rewritten if the caster of the jutsu dies to make him survive instead, at the cost of the eye losing its powers and becoming blind

I'm surprised Rick didn't give himself EMS, considering the feats we've seen him do, upgrading the Sharingan without being of Uchiha blood wouldn't be out of the question for him.

Watching this full duel captures the feeling I had actually watching Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid. The way the dual ends is realistic and captures the feeling I had actually playing Yu-Gi-Oh. Even when the odds are 2/3 in your favor sometimes your cards or luck just brick.

But have you played it cuz when your deck bricks hard in the last few plays it can be just like that. Pretty sure that was my point when I said the second part
It feels so good to see this completed. It was in-character, hilarious, and action-packed. My eyes were glued to the screen, waiting to see who would win. It was an excellent duel.
I was so happy that Yugi won, i would of been so mad if people think rick would of beaten the God with the heart of the cards. I mean i love rick and he could beaten anyone else in this but just not my boy yugi
I love that the original cards Rick has are actually fairly balanced. The duels pacing felt just right, the characters behave about how I would expect, this is just an amazing and fun video all around!

@Jessica T if meeseeks box was a real card, it would 100% be played in every deck, it's literally better pot of greed, generic draw cards are already the best cards ever made, with pot of gree being the best example, meeseeks box let's you draw MORE than the best and most overpowered draw effect, AND it has other abilities, although people would only ever use the draw or the bottom effect to return ANY spell or trap from your graveyard to your hand, so double monster reborn, double change of heart, double harpies feather duster, double raigeki, ect. And it doesn't even have to end there, you can return raigeki from your grave to your hand EVERY turn, and that's STILL weaker than drawing 3, absolutely busted but it does sound like tons of fun

I was honestly expecting crap but THIS feels like when you've actually read a crossover fanfiction. This is really good, especially the dialogue because it feels on point with their character.

At least on this fan animation, the guy who made this knows how they say and act similar to how they did in their respective shows. And some of the voice lines are just hilarious. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this! I am a big Rick and Morty fan and I know barely anything about Yu Gi Oh! and this was excellent! Part of the reason I don't watch Yu Gi Oh! is because I'm worried I won't understand it or get bored but this had neither of those problems! Rick not knowing what the Millennium Puzzle does is why it didn't end in a draw. He didn't figure out from the first three coin flips that the puzzle is deciding the outcome of luck-based effects for Atem. Because of that, he went for the safer option of rolling the dice to gain attack points instead of the 3 card draw because he figured the odds of winning on that turn were higher than getting the cards needed from 3 draws, but that was the worst decision to make if you know that the Puzzle makes it so you win all luck-based effects.
Yami's a Cheater Not Only Does He Use the Mellinium-Puzzle to Get the Cards He - Want/Need - s But He Also Uses it to Cheat Others Out of Victories By Messing with His Opponents Game as Well & He's Supposed to Be a Role-Model (Leave it to Fate Yeah Right)
I love how Yugi and Rick sound like they are voiced by Dan Green and Justin Roiland. It's kind of funny how Yugi insults Rick for being a drunk. And it's also in character of Rick to use his science to get the Winged Dragon of Ra and a Sharingan. Rick's deck is a callback to previous Rick and Morty episodes. I like how Yugi wins the duel rather than make Rick for the sake of showing his genius. And I love how, even in defeat, Rick has a contingency in case that he loses.
@@embrikchloraker8186 well... to be fair. it wasn't >COMPLETELY< fairly. There were still shenanigans, namely by giving Pharoh the Seal of Orichalcos and tricking him to activate it. Then of course, plot shenanigans kicked in, because Atem's darkness took over due to the magic of the orichalcos so Atem got cocky and sorta became the villain for a bit, hence his plot armor didn't work ^^; buuut, it was ~mostly~ fairly.

I waited for the complete version for weeks we finally get it what an incredible recreation of yugioh it's amazing and needs more attention great video and clips you released
The full parts in one episode is amazing as it flowed as if it was a original airing of the original series. This is heavily well done and I enjoyed it from it's beginning to this final section. I can not wait to see what will come next from the channel in the future.
Can we all appreciate the fact that Dan Green’s voice was SO expressive during the show’s run, that even the AI makes him sound completely REAL. What a talented man. He truly beat the system.
The ultimate duel nobody knew they needed until now, finally watching it in this whole entirety is a whole different feeling, and I am here for it 😭😭😭😭 OMG you gotta develop ricks deck even further!! If you plan on doin another one of these, I'd love to see Rick duel Kaiba. It'd be cool to see their "super smart guy" personalities bounce off each other
I love that in-universe, people just aren't allowed to check the effects of opponent's cards. I guess its kinda like an automated simulator in the sense the duel disk won't allow cheating but it goes to show the phrase "Yu-Gi-Oh! players can't read" is actually just canon.

Rick's so good at this game, he managed to not only predict most of Atem's moves and control Ra, but also force Atem to cheat via his puzzle to force a favorable dice roll. Him having Izanagi seems a bit TOO powerful though, given he has a full jar of sharingan eyes.

@Jessica T if meeseeks box was a real card, it would 100% be played in every deck, it's literally better pot of greed, generic draw cards are already the best cards ever made, with pot of gree being the best example, meeseeks box let's you draw MORE than the best and most overpowered draw effect, AND it has other abilities, although people would only ever use the draw or the bottom effect to return ANY spell or trap from your graveyard to your hand, so double monster reborn, double change of heart, double harpies feather duster, double raigeki, ect. And it doesn't even have to end there, you can return raigeki from your grave to your hand EVERY turn, and that's STILL weaker than drawing 3, absolutely busted but it does sound like tons of fun

What I'm trying to say is that the level of quality(at least on the writing and character aspect) is pretty much on par with what you could get with any good crossover fanfics out there. It isn't some shitpost that some would associate to any of those fan animation that uses some known and popular characters like in SFM and/or GMod animations for example. At least on this fan animation, the guy who made this knows how they say and act similar to how they did in their respective shows. And some of the voice lines are just hilarious.

Bro this was honestly amazing. Didn't know what to expect but kept my attention the whole way through. You got down their personalities so well too, dialog was practically perfect.
Even their voices are SO spot on, I could probably fool my friend into thinking this actually happened on TV

Rick not knowing what the Millennium Puzzle does is why it didn't end in a draw. He didn't figure out from the first three coin flips that the puzzle is deciding the outcome of luck-based effects for Atem. Because of that, he went for the safer option of rolling the dice to gain attack points instead of the 3 card draw because he figured the odds of winning on that turn were higher than getting the cards needed from 3 draws, but that was the worst decision to make if you know that the Puzzle makes it so you win all luck-based effects.

I love how Yugi and Rick sound like they are voiced by Dan Green and Justin Roiland. It's kind of funny how Yugi insults Rick for being a drunk. And it's also in character of Rick to use his science to get the Winged Dragon of Ra and a Sharingan. Rick's deck is a callback to previous Rick and Morty episodes.
I like how Yugi wins the duel rather than make Rick for the sake of showing his genius. And I love how, even in defeat, Rick has a contingency in case that he loses.

@@embrikchloraker8186 well... to be fair. it wasn't >COMPLETELY< fairly. There were still shenanigans, namely by giving Pharoh the Seal of Orichalcos and tricking him to activate it. Then of course, plot shenanigans kicked in, because Atem's darkness took over due to the magic of the orichalcos so Atem got cocky and sorta became the villain for a bit, hence his plot armor didn't work ^^;
buuut, it was ~mostly~ fairly.

The full parts in one episode is amazing as it flowed as if it was a original airing of the original series. This is heavily well done and I enjoyed it from it's beginning to this final section. I can not wait to see what will come next from the channel in the future.

Quite broken even with only 4000 LP, although Rick's deck is a little janky and Atem had his anime effects and Pot of Greed. Still, a very entertaining duel.

I love that in-universe, people just aren't allowed to check the effects of opponent's cards. I guess its kinda like an automated simulator in the sense the duel disk won't allow cheating but it goes to show the phrase "Yu-Gi-Oh! players can't read" is actually just canon.

Rick's so good at this game, he managed to not only predict most of Atem's moves and control Ra, but also force Atem to cheat via his puzzle to force a favorable dice roll. Him having Izanagi seems a bit TOO powerful though, given he has a full jar of sharingan eyes.
