My biggest gripe is crazily underdeveloped PS Classics library. It shouldn't be that hard to look after the old classics. So much opportunity to sell your old library

Because a lot of people don’t play on PC especially nowadays. I’ve been tempted but I’m also not interested on dropping 2 grand on a PC that I will need to spend even more hundreds of dollars to upgrade every few years to keep up with current tech

Because I’m play plants vs zombies 2 on my ps4 and went to go play online I had to pay 80 Dollars a month and that was the least expensive option
Never mind is was 80 dallied ever year the cheapest one is 10 dollars a month my lísiate but it still sucks especially when I comes to older and for often game like this it’s very annoying that you can buy the game but can only get single player aspects of it gets really Lonly that you can’t play online with other people and playing single player in this does get boring after a while it just feels like a scam a game that was meant to be online multiplayer but if you don’t pay u will be stuck play singlet stuff and didn’t know until now

at least get your comment right if you wanna make a point.... first off all the extra tier is just 13 dollar not 14.99 like xbox and premium is just 16 dollar not 20 dollar like microsoft.
But and here is the kicker there both in a very very very very different situation... playstation is outselling the xbox 1 to 5 nor is playstation plus premium a selling point for playstation.
It's not there main thing... Xbox made gamepass more important then there consoles... Very very very important difference.. So on hand you have sony where playstation plus premium is add on that you can take if you so want to... But is doing perfectly fine without having to rely on it... On the other hand you have xbox that is not doing fine at all so it changed it's tactics to gamepass what also have seen a decrease in its users and is not hitting the targets that microsoft has set... If you then are gonna raise the price then your basicly in deep trouble... Because they have to increase price to keep up with the cost. But at the same time it's also losing subscribers and the consoles are also not doing great...
You see how it works??? 2 very very very different things....
It’s not 20 dollar a month, it 18 a month if your stupid enough to pay monthly instead of year option the price difference if you choose year option is 160 for premium compare to 240 for game pass ultimate so it actually 13.33 a month
Ya he is clearly a hardcore sony pony no matter how much he denies it. I was expecting this too which is sad. GP has waaay more to offer for the same dollar and I preger PS but GP is on my pc and xbox. Even if PSP is cheaper on the yearly price its still not worth it compared to GP for some of us

I had to cancel, too few releases and PC emulation is obviously much better. Jeanne d'Arc I was playing at 4K with HD texture pack and RetroAchievements, it looks way better than the PS5 version. Paying a premium for lazy infrequent Sony releases was disappointing, I regret subscribing to it for 2 years.

Yes, nothing better than playing on original device. I have three 'straight' Vitas with a good library of physical games, and a hacked one where I can play PS1 and so much more.
It is better but still not worth the extra money. The EXTRA tier is still preferable. Sony needs to step it up with the retro

How? They basically have similar choices. Playstation Premium is just Gamepass without day 1 releases but seeing as even XBOX isn't giving you day 1 releases anymore (on standard tier) and they don't have any games that are worth a Damm currently. Its basically the same.

I didn’t buy a ps5 to just play games I’ve already played or ones I was never interested in to begin with when they released. All games that are low budget and before the ps4 should be in a separate category entirely. I shouldn’t have to search through garbage like cats quest and Mr. Hibbi just for me to find a game that should be on the $500 console I purchased. If your game looks and plays like its should be on a ps3 and earlier you shouldn’t be in a list along side games made specifically for the ps5 that aren’t low budget copy paste trash. Meaning if you make an arcade game on the ps5 sorry going into the category with all the PS 1, 2 , 3, Atari, and etc. there is absolutely no reason why those 1000’s of titles should make up 99% of a store for a console sold every 8 years. We going to get to PlayStation 8 and you won’t even be able to find a ps8 game due to how many old games as well as cash grabs that make up the store. If you made a game like fall out shelter or bastion that should stay where it belongs on your phone like all the other mobile garbage.

I was excited when they added the original Resident Evil 1 hoping it would lead to more ps1 capcom games like OG Re2, OG RE3 and Dino Crisis being added but sadly that hasn't happened yet.
I find myself scrolling through the PS Extra catalog trying to find something I want to play, and finding nothing. The ones I liked I already played, and there weren't many of them: Ghost of Tsushima, Returnal, Ratchet & Clank, and a few others. Everything else is just weird 16-bit indie games, huge flops like Gotham Knights or Thief, boring ass narrative games like Man of Medan, and Ubisoft crap. I know gaming, like any media, is a matter of personal taste, but come on. Plus, most of the monthly games are crap, too. I don't care about some stupid simulator game or Lego game. Once in a while we get some gems, but they are few and far between. So, the most I'll subscribe to now is Essential just for the cloud storage. I tried Premium once for the cloud streaming, but even with my 250gbps internet, it still sucks. One of these days I'm just going to switch to PC gaming. Seems to be the better route overall.
After all, Ps Now was cheaper compared to Premium. This plus service should be developed in such a way that if wish, can only take Premium or Extra without Essential

Only doing premium teir so I can game stream. I ought to just upgrade from a 1 tb ssd to a 2. Rarely ever play the games but game streaming is keeping me from needing to upgrade ssd. Plus even if I do buy a new ssd I'll still need essential to play online and that's going to cost more for both then just renewing premium. Blah idk

No, a lot of games are on (stream) only. I have a good internet (up to 800 mbps) but because the upload is around 10 mbps I keep getting a message that says there was a problem in my connection. Since download is limited to some retro games its not worth it + the backlog of games arent that good
Correction - PS+ Premium is not $20 a month. It is $18 if you pay monthly or $13.34 if you pay annually.

I love PlayStation premium I subscribe for a few months try a few games when I am done with my subscription I buy the games I liked the best or add them to my wishlist and wait for a sale.

Answer is yes. Seriously it's pointless. Extra and essential are fine. If Sony ads day 1 games to Premium yeah no it would kill them. 😂 What Sony should do is actually put their live service games on Premium, plus Crunchyroll premium, Beta/tournament access, Competitions challenges/Rewards And promotions for Apple+/D+/ any app which wants get more viewers by having little discount for their services. Also GTA+ or EA Play membership discounts. Also they need have a Vita Emulator now on Premium, and also PS3 Emulator which can let u download games but we all know problem by now which absolutely sucks but hay PC community is trying their best on PS3 emulator. So at Moment Premium isn't worth it because most classic game are available buy Sept og Resident Evil which sucks to see being locked to premium.

I think it’s pretty good, I love playing Legend of Dragoon, Sly 1, and Daxter again. However, it’s not enough to getting it for the average gamer. We need a lot more classic games and hopefully someday PS3 games.
