If you have to serve time, they will let you take yourself to jail so you can go home and prepare things for your absence first too. Just don't get violent.

@ethancolbourne5908 What are you talking about? Alcohol primarily affects GABA, which is a similar mechanism to benzodiazepines and both are known to decrease inhibitions. That’s not the ONLY effect of alcohol, but it is one of the primary ones. It also affects NMDA receptors and has dopaminergic effects, albeit indirectly. Maybe you should find some sources on neurotransmitters and alcohol pharmacology…
