Fishing Windang Flats (Wollongong) with Soft Plastics, Hard Body Cranks and Surface Lures

Took the family out to Wollongong, and while at it tried and flicked some soft plastics, hard body shimmers, Surface lures targeting Whitings, Flatheads, and Bream. No Luck this day.
Whiting were feeding, Bream were sitting under the bridge in the current but not biting.

may I surest mullet,
little secret here to go to a creek like fairy creek and lay a trap with bread in it to catch some mullet to use as bait works every time.

lake is one of the few estuaries that can still be smoked by the pro netters, its a rough spot for a fish 90% of the time

Nope, not a single bite, however, fish were there and I can see them whiting and bream under the bridge where I was chucking the live shrimp, but with no luck
