Match the Speed of the Target: Shotgun Wing Shooting & Duck Hunting

Think back to the best shot you've ever made. Chances are, it was one that snuck in and you didn't have time to think about it before you pulled the trigger of your shotgun. You shot that duck or goose subconsciously and your subconscious mind is a better shot than your conscious mind.
You don't want to see the shot you're taking on a duck, goose, or clay target, you want to feel it. Mount the shotgun, focus on the target, and feel the barrel matching the speed of the target before pulling the trigger. By looking at the target, you're giving your brain the information it needs to match the speed of it.

I really appreciate your instructional video's, I am an experienced shooter but I really enjoy your video's as they are excellent for the young first time wingshooter to the advanced wingshooter. I also would like to state I place my leg foot pointed towards the bird and I find this aids in my ability to track and push through or as I said last time come up behind the bird. Therefore I can better judge it's speed, as I push past the bird's neck then head I squeeze the trigger as I pass it's bill and keep swinging as if I never shot. The bird tumbles off the end of the barrel if all has gone to plan. But you are correct most often it's so fast and natural one has to think hard about how much lead did I put on that bird. Fowled Reality Duck and Goose Hunting , I will make a promise if I ever lucky enough to win a lottery. I honestly would aquire a vast tract of property. A place that can be maintained for wildlife and open it up to the youth hunters who may not be able to normally have a person in their life who can take them into the field. I really believe in giving back to a sport that has given me so many great memories. I will also invite, " Fowled Reality " along to give the youth some great advice.
