The dealer checking with the magnifying glass, then using a beer to rack the shotgun instead of just pointing it at himself because he should know it's a blank and then racking two out of four live rounds with beers just to shoot himself with a third live round is really peak comedy.
the atmosphere is so intriguing to me. I've been to a couple shady warehouse music shows and to imagine someone upstairs is getting repeatedly murdered while you're downstairs dancing, is pretty creepy. maybe that's just me and my overactive imagination!
I think the magnifying glass pairs well with the inverter. You get to see what the shell is so you can change it with the inverter. But yeah it seems they did up the difficulty on double or nothing in this version. Great playthrough!
20:50 Damn, didn’t know Manly and John collabed years ago. Gab and John were already my favorite crossover but this Marvel Universe thing goes deeper huh
Only a couple games they colabed together and they were coop horror games. Manly often said in his videos he doesn't like doing (or posting) coop horror games because the horror is "removed" and it's just a bunch of joking and horsing around. Which is why you very rarely see him in colabs and it depends on the game. He often times doesn't record those moments. I think the last coop horror game he played with friends was that "Find the demon cultist amongst your friends" game and he didn't make a video on that. He just shows up as a guest in others' videos.
John marching to the mini fridge to grab a coke zero like it's a performance enhancing drug 😂 honestly who needs cigs to regain life when you have vanilla coke zero 😤 (also i feel like the inverters spawn a little too frequently. it would be great if u could discard or decide to switch items, or even have an item that let's you 'lock' an inventory space to carry over to the next round? it would be good to not have so many things to brick up ur inventory spaces that they start to feel like an annoyance)
Hey John, love the game and the fact you came back to the updated version. And the viewer salt just shows that the playthrough is engaging, so you’re definitely doing something right :) Everyone seems *super* engaged here.
i still watch you play ethan must die or 21 when i do chores! re7 is what brought me to your channel, it was an incredible time- i hope more people get back to the re7 dlc thro buckshot!
Apparently, on the last round, the dealer has complete information on if the round is live or blank. Anytime before that, for example if there is two rounds in the chamber or more, there is a 50/50 chance on the dealer just shooting himself
tbh the Inscryption comparison just seems stylistic; I don't think this has much else in common with it at this point, unless there's a lot of depth that no one's found yet.
I won't lie I was one of those people in the itchio video yelling at the screen. I think leaving a shitty comment over a video game is just pointless though, but I'm leaving a comment this time because holy shit at the end you were really starting to make awesome plays, I was rooting for you! Great vid
One of my favourite things is whenever there's a beat that just slaps, you do an enthused "Ooh!" and jam out. Feed Me Jimmy, and now this club music--we're here for it.
RE4 is the most repayable imo (also my favorite), but RE7 has the best dlc ngl. Wish RE4 got more content updates though, feel like they could get more out of it
I don't think you're miscounting. That first time, I was also thinking that seventh shell was not accurate per the burner phone. The next time, I'm thinking that the inverter threw you off. If it changes a shell from live to blank, I assume that changes the overall count, too (now 1 more blank in total).
This game is so much fun to watch, thank you for uploading it! Also so happy to hear you talk about the RE7 DLC in general. It made me sad to see people complaining about all of it, like there's really something in there for everyone, how can you not enjoy any of it?? The amount of content is incredible.
"You know what? I'm Bucko now. That sucks." LMAO At a certain point, the dealer handcuffing John and making him watch him use up all his items and then shoot himself in the face feels like he's holding John hostage for his slapstick comedy show.
I happened to see this game on steam a little while back and the first thing I thought was that it was right up your alley !! Glad I was right because I was dying to see you play it.
35:52 John you miscounted because you failed to take into account you inverted one of the rounds. You turned the live round into a blank, so there were 2 more blanks in the gun.
I was going "No no no John no" when the second "Double or nothing?" popped up haha It's so stressful when the stakes get higher 😂 But great job on that victory!
Hey, just to point out that when you know its a blank, instead of drinking the beer to eject the round you could have just shot yourself and save the beer for later. I dont know why, but I love to watch this game. Please upload more of it!
I wonder if there's something neat if you choose your name as God, with the mysterious waiver that is eventually pulled out with the signed name 'God'.
Nah its just supposed to be edgy cause the dealer even managed to beat god omggggg brooou It just doesnt let you use that name. Its just lame and whatever
I love the instant drop in John's face when he's in gloat mode and then the round was a blank xD Also I don't actually remember the RE7 DLCs too much, perhaps I might revisit your RE7 playlist and the DLCs as well :o (Though I guess technically not a revisit of yours since I watched RE7 from Pewdiepie and Markiplier before I discovered you years later)
It’s best to use the inverter well to keep skipping when it’s a live round. So probably use it with the magnifying glass as when you feel like you don’t know the chances are. I think that increases your chances of hitting him more and gives yourself more confirmed success!
I haven't played the game, but is racking the shotgun with the beer the same as just shooting yourself if you know in advance that the round is a blank? Fun video to watch cheers :)
It's not exactly the same. Sometimes you should use the Beer to free up an item slot if you're close to a round change, for example. Also, you get style points IMO!
@@JohnTwolfe I thought you lose style points, doesn't it count against the endgame score? If I'm wrong on that my apologies, but I thought that's how it worked.
The dealer checking with the magnifying glass, then using a beer to rack the shotgun instead of just pointing it at himself because he should know it's a blank and then racking two out of four live rounds with beers just to shoot himself with a third live round is really peak comedy.
I thought that too then the player did the same thing and I lost all faith
"my name is Shot, Buck Shot"
Then he proceeds to shoot himself in the face
"Im feeling lucky." *shoots himself in the face. Looks at the camera in disappointment*
That was too funny 😂😂😂
the useless inverters on the table and he couldn't put the gun down lmao truly a comedy moment
The dealer shooting himself in the face is never not funny 😂
True, I cross my fingers every time he aims at himself
And now every time he takes expired medicine and he falls over, also makes me laugh every time lol
When John makes the grumpy straight face and then looks into the camera 😭😭
That's why I love his drawn avatar so much. It's like they captured that exact very moment - the quintessential John.
Crazy how games like this are just so much more enthralling than most AAA games.
Resident Evil: huh
the atmosphere is so intriguing to me. I've been to a couple shady warehouse music shows and to imagine someone upstairs is getting repeatedly murdered while you're downstairs dancing, is pretty creepy. maybe that's just me and my overactive imagination!
I think I liked the music better in the Itchio version though! EDIT: Actually it seems to be in Double or Nothing on the Steam version!
Resident Evil 7 21 DLC is still the GOAT to me when it comes to this type of gamble game genre.
for REAL. John’s upload of it is one of his videos I come back to the most, it’s so intense
So happy John decided to upload this. Stocks have gone up.
The atmosphere in this game is so good. I love the scene at the club.
I think the magnifying glass pairs well with the inverter. You get to see what the shell is so you can change it with the inverter. But yeah it seems they did up the difficulty on double or nothing in this version. Great playthrough!
I love how aggressive all the player’s animations are in this game lol

I feel like Mr. Kravin and John would be great together
@@Michele1ELL They've played games together before!! I cant remember which one though! 😭

That was some comedic timing with the "I'm feeling lucky" and then BAM, a shot to your face hahaha

coke zero is absolutely a performance enhancing drug. after I got one I started excelling, that's no coincidence!
10 minutes in and I was already pleading with John to use the cigarettes
Haha 😂 dad brain
@WanderBrook no? He recently became a dad, John's always been like this.
I absolutely love your long unedited videos. I just cannot watch these other insanely overly edited TH-cam videos anymore.
That DJ track in the background is *chef’s kiss* 😮💨👌
There is an hour long version on YT.

I think every single time John said "I'm feeling lucky" he got completely unlucky, hahahaha.
glad you revisited this, it's like watching someone play marvel snap, with all the suspense and anticipation

Wow, John. Your gameplay is so much better in this playthrough!
The streets still want the full inscryption playthrough and Kaycee's mod run!

Can you invert the final shell into a live round even if it's blank? Hmmm

I'm not here to say you made a mistake. I feel like the dev is trying to make me do math and I won't stand for it. 😅
