Nice video. I want to see a video with some scientific comparisons on flippers and also kicking style. You could do it in a pool, band around your waist with a cord to a scale to measure force. a hanging type fruit scale on its side would work. Also a speed test comparison of fins would be interesting with multiple people testing multiple fins on bodyboards. Cheers

Sorry, paid no attention to your coaching. I was too busy mind-surfing the waves behind you. 😁
I kid! Great tips, look forward to putting these to use.

😂 Glad you found the advice useful (and you liked the waves in the background 😜)

I love the speed but must work on using the flex to get the best.

When I would lean forward and fins out of water, I notice the board would just start going sideways instead of forward down the line where I’m trying to go

You need to keep you inside leg engaged with the face of the wave. This acts as an extension of your rail and help you keep your line. Give it a try 🤙

Hey Rob...do we engage our core, tighten our stomach at any time during the ride?...thanks

Hey, it's Alex here. Good question.Although we may not consciously think about doing it, there will be a degree of tightening your core to allow all of your muscles to work in harmony. 👌

Thanks for the good gouge. Do quad channel designs add much speed compared to dual? Currently riding VS Dave Winchester model, dual stringer, surlyn mesh dual channel.
