Kristin Nelson and Ricky Nelson have had tragedies that many people must grieve through the stories of Mark Harmon, two prominent brothers who had a tumultuous relationship before Kristin's death.

I watched an interview that "Daze With Jordan The Lion" did with Gunnar, Rick and Kristen's son. Gunnar said that RIGHT BEFORE his father went on to sing on SNL, Kristen called and said she had JUST FILED FOR DIVORCE!!!! Now how EVIL IS THAT?!
Definitely evil. It happens when paernts pamper Kristin obviously too much and feels she is self-entitled. That is too bad Ricky married Kristin because too much connection with the Harmons didn't help Rickey but then they had a child on the way so naturally Ricky did the appropriate best and they got married.

I heard her own son say she was a narcissist and addict. Now I see why. I use to think Mark Harmon was the bad guy, but then I seen the truth. Sorry Mark Harmon. Her own son said she was the bad one and the night that Ricky was on Saturday Night Live she called him right before he was due on set to tell him she was filing for divorce. And Ricky had the twins. Not Christin so he was the one who should've getting child support.

Just watched a video of the Nelson twins and what they said does not resemble this at all. They loved their dad and were close to him. According to them their mother was the problem not their dad. You are putting out false information.

@@elizabethf2104 there multiple videos of the twins talking about their parents. It was eye opening. They learned to accept what they had. They did talk about their mom and and it was very sad. Kris was a willing participant in the drugs. They were hippies in their early days.

Not fair to tell a sad story from only one perspective when Rick is not here to defend himself and tell the story from his perspective. It takes two to tango. It takes two to overcome problems.

This happens in these types of marriages, where the spouse is rotting in jealousy, spending all the money, making blanket accusations, constant 'hose beast' attitude, playing mental games and using the children as wedges to hurt the man...oh, wait, that's almost every marriage. Ricky was a simple guy, he loved music and he could make some money doing it but the wife wasn't strong enough to hold the fort down and maintain a stable presence while he worked. If you're gonna to be pissy, controlling and hateful, don't expect the man to respond to ANY of that BS. Rather than apologize, she chose to act out further, double down on her pride and arrogant tendencies. Ricky was probably just confused about it all, he wasn't built to handle a drug addicted nut job.

Marky Harmon only wanted to do the best for Sammy Nelson. Krissy had a problem with drugs and alcohol. Gunny, Matty and Tracy will all attest to this. Ozzie and Harry liked Krissy, they probably had no clue about her troubles.

None of this came from Mark Harmon. It is weird with celebrities, if Rick had been the one with the drug problem and acted like Kris, there would be no blame on him still. We just do not know the deep internal stuff and that is the way Mark Harmon wants it.
Rick did have a drug problem. When he died they said it was because he was freebasing cocaine on the plane that caused an explosion.

The investigation and the pilots who lived thus crash differ with what gossip was spread by many ....remember there were full medical, FFA, ect . They spoke to those that was around Rick and band before taking off ect.

Everyone's remarks here are pathetic. Both Ricky and Kristen we're responsable for their own action. They both loved each other and hurt each other. People do things they later regresa when they feel hurt or restricted. Works both ways. They were 2 great people who were teying to stay afloat in the limelight. One of man's biggest problems is self-centeredness, and when you marry you must the other person's needs first. Neither one knew how to do that. Many walking wounded out there, they just don't make the front pages. Let's focus on supporting what's left of this amazing family and stop taking sides or giving any corn-field psycholgy.

If Rick had fathered a child, he would have taken that child in and loved him/her, that woman was just after his money. Unfortunately, at the end of his life, he didn't have much money. The divorce broke him financially.
