60 minute DANCE workout | At home workout | No talking, no jumping, no equipment | Low Impact

  • Get ready to sweat today! Today's workout is our 60 minute dance workout. We'll start with a 5 minute warm-up then do various exercises until we get to our cool-down. To make it easier to follow, I purposely did a different exercise interspersed with walking or a step touch to come back to each time. We'll finish with a cool-down and stretching. Please have a water bottle close by!
    The total step count for this workout is 7055 steps. During the workout, please keep in mind the steps are averaged out throughout the whole workout. You'll notice the steps don't seem accurate at times since the computer system averages the steps and doesn't know exactly how many steps I am doing but the final count is correct.
    The breakdown of each day:
    Day 1: Intervals: 1 minute fast and 1 minute slow x 7
    Day 2: 25 minute cardio and strength workout
    Day 3: Intervals: 2.0 minutes fast and 1.5 minutes slow intervals x 4
    Day 4: Stretching
    Day 5: 60 minute workout
    Day 6: 20 minute heart pumping strength workout
    Day 7: 20 minute workout

    I just finished this work out for the first time. It really got my heart pumping. I have to modify moves because if I lifted my legs as high as you do my husband would be calling my son who has his own ambulance service. I also skip the water breaks as I have a weak, small prolapsed bladder. I drink it afterwards. You don't know how much I appreciate being able to do your videos at home and they are free as I live on social security. You truly are a gift from GOD....bless you Jules

Modifying the exercises is perfect...I am sure most people who do the workout have to modify some of the exercises. So many of us have different injuries and restrictions. You're doing great if you can do this workout...this is a long one so congratulations on finishing it! 💗

    I love this workout so, so much. I was diagnosed with a heart condition a year ago (scary at 47!) and have been working on maintaining a healthy lifestyle since. At first it was hard finding low impact workouts that I could make myself stick to, but your's have been amazing for me because they're fun, uplifting and make me feel proud of myself at the end. I've lost 42 kilos now and gotten fit dancing with you in my living room. Thank you so much, you've helped me more than you can know xx

    OMG what a FANTASTIC workout!!!!     Oh my word. Have done this workout 4 times now, and I gotta say, this is the best cardio I have ever done! And I used to do Fonda. She doesn’t hold a candle to you, and I’m serious! This workout kicked my behind! You cover everything and all the sweat makes it worth it.     We usually try to do an outdoor activity when my husband has a day off. There is 100% humidity and rain forecast for later so we pulled up this workout. Always great to start the day with your heart pumping and a good sweat! Love finding older workouts that are new to us☺️👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻

      Congratulations on finishing 4 weeks of series 3, Stacy!!! I'm so glad to read that you are feeling the difference. For series 4, as I mentioned there are only 2 videos for day 1 and 3. Ideally, choose any of my strength workouts for day 2 & 5. For day 4 & 7, choose any 30 minute cardio workout (or all-in-one). For day 6, try to choose a longer cardio workout (45 min upwards). I hope that helps!

    I started this workout planning to complete 30 minutes at least. Proud to say I completed the whole workout. The written words of encouragement, along with the 30 second intervals were really helpful, and the time seemed to fly by. I also like the no talking, as I can turn the sound down and listen to my own music. Thank you!

    I am still in my first week of series 3, but want to share how much I enjoy your workouts. I was determined to complete the series and did this 60 minutes workout late in the evening. If not for the motivational messages, I would not have completed the full hour. As for all of your workouts, I appreciate that most are done in a manageable amount of time and don’t require a lot of space. I am seeing definition in my arms so that’s exciting and I can tell that my legs are stronger.

      @@chefg828 Hi! I'm not quite sure I understand. Are you asking if you can do the interval workouts with the strength workouts? If so, yes, absolutely. When it comes to the all-in-ones (when we do strength training), you can still do those with the strength workouts as long as you're giving any sore muscles time to recover. For example, if you do an all-in-one a day after a hard leg strengthening day, you might want to skip the squats or lunges in the all-in-one workout (especially if you feel soreness). I hope that helps!

      @@chefg828 That sounds like a great plan. If you start back with Series 1 of the interval training PLUS the strength workouts, you'll have yourself a great full-body program. That's ideal, actually. A lot of people won't take the time to do both, but if you have the time and motivation, then by all means, go for it! You'll definitely see results with the combination.

Just so you know, I create gentle, beginner and intermediate level workouts (both seated and standing) so not all of the workouts will suit your level, but hopefully you'll enjoy certain ones. If you liked this one, the intermediate level is likely best for you. You can find the workouts categorized in the playlists. I hope you enjoy more of them as you try them out.     Love this workout. I'm 66 and Type 1 diabetic. Love all your workouts. Really love the longer ones. I like the no talking but when we are stretching can you tell us when to change especially when we are bent over stretching. Thanks

      Hi! This one is an older one and I didn't use a bell at the time. I now use a bell during no-talking videos to let people know when to change positions. I'm always learning when it comes to editing and improving:)

    Love it! I’m trying to be easier on my knees & this is a great one for that. I appreciate the standing part too- my elbo’s messed up & I can’t do push-ups right now.

    I will try this. Because i cant do jumping because of my leg & back problem... my dr told me to walk one hour which is impossible 😂 thanks a lot for sharing

      This is one of my more challenging workouts. If this was too hard, you can find my gentle and beginner playlists on my channel. For the recommended hour, you can break up the hour and do 2-3 shorter workouts in a day. That is also super beneficial and more doable.
