Have tried all these things. Photogrammetry doesn't work at all for me unless I do a manual cache of specific areas. My internet is consistently testing at 100Mbs and they say you need 50 for ideal photogrammetry performance. Was thinking of getting a VR headset and buying 2024 but not if PG doesn't work.
This does Not resolve or explain why photogrammetry has a deformed melted look to it. I like many others are experiencing this problem. Which has has been a bug/ issue since August 2020.. Many threads on the official FS forum about this. One post in particular from a person who creates 3d photogrammetry modeling. Person went onto to say its most likely Asobo/Microsoft server to host port latency lag and the AI rendering engine not rendering the photogrammetry correctly due to the latency.. For example my location is Australia, nearest server to port is SE Asia. What a joke that stingy Microsrudge does not have dedicated servers for Oceania.. Also Jorg and Co from Asobo continue to avoid this issue along with the big performance degradation which occurs from 5 to 6hrs into a flight where FPS drop to single digits.. Almost 3000 comments and posts. Which is affecting many users. Once again Jorg and Co from Asobo.. Do not even mention that during latest Q&A. Clearly those dickheads from Asobo broke something within core code when SU7 was released causing a memory leak. I've said for so long. All these sim updates and changing core code constantly breaks things.. There should only be no more than two sim updates per year. That way Asobo has plenty of time to beta test and make work right the first time..
hi Gann I understand your frustration completely but please watch the wording you are using. Only recommendation I can make is keep making Asobo aware using the forum but also raising support cases
@@Highintheflightsimsky I use manual cache in several of the larger cities I frequent....and using the medium setting. Doesn't take much space. I have the same problem on Xbox, my scenery looks worse than FSX. The ground texrures simply aren‘t loading. I‘ve considered uninstalling all the world updates, but i don‘t want to break anything else.
The issue that I have (and my friend that I fly with) is that the photogrammetry only loads in when we get quite close to the area that we fly in, and as soon as we fly away just a little bit, it's lost again, and needs to reload when we fly back. Quite annoying actually.
its wierd when the one world trade center buildings and towers were so blocky and like triangles they looked like theyre melted from fire and next my problemb is the same as this one so i hope it works since my msfs is still opening ill try fix it now. thanks for the tips.
The problem is not my conection it's their servers (me I'm in France). The game updates are slow as hell and the loading of the photogrammetry texture is incredibly slow. I've got a +300Mb internet conection, it shouldn't take a minute to load the texture of a building when I'm flying with the drone ingame and looking at a city. And for the life of me, I can't find anything that fixes this issue !

The issue I'm experiencing is that airport terminals and in some cases even the textures of the runways and taxiways are not loading on arrival, none of the solutions on this video have corrected the issue, I'd appreaciate if someone knows a go around this
@@Highintheflightsimsky Hi, well I'm from Costa Rica so I fly a lot around central america, but this has happened to me also in LAX, IAD and JFK, the common things seems to be flights longer than 2 hours or so, either way it looks like the sim losses connection to the Internet and/or the servers but doesn't notify me as it should so I can manually recycle the connection on settings.
Bro I'm sitting right now and can't fly, that's why I came across your video, by the way thanks for the video, I'll try your advice with the cache. I'm really tired of dealing with this 500mb/s wired connection and I still get this weak connection notification. But there is one caveat, I fly in a very high resolution, all the sliders are at maximum, only scaling by 100 to my resolution of 5120x1440, the rest is very high 200 and 400 are very high settings, maybe that's why the Internet is gradually crashing. Your advice about turning off the connection or turning off the bing maps takes about 10-15 minutes after pressing the apply-save button, yes yes that's how much, I think this is all because of the 4k textures, and what do you think happens after that? It's just an empty world ahaha damn everything is so complicated but the surface of the earth looks fantastic I'll try to enable the cache now I hope it helps me
@@Highintheflightsimsky hello, no, it didn’t help, I even removed the router and turned on the internet wire directly, there is no difference, I think the problem is in the bing servers, I have a couple of uninstalled updates in the file manager, I tried to update, 0kb speed. when downloading to the airfield, I see that the speed reaches 25mb / s, especially if it is a high-quality addon, so the Internet can quite afford it, given that games on steam are downloaded at a speed of 65-80mb / s and this is via wi-fi, to be honest I didn't see the difference between wire or wifi, I'm now writing this message from my imac, I did a speedtest and it gives out 490mb/s in the same way as if I connected the wire. Therefore, I think the problem is in the servers, this problem appeared yesterday around lunchtime, I flew in the morning and everything was fine, but then this message began to pop up. I tried to fly in Washington, it's the same there, I tried turning the bing maps on and off, literally 5 seconds is normal and then the whole earth is gone, I see that there is no Internet loading when I'm flying, usually I always have it displayed on the side of the screen

If we did get a sim with MSFS scenery and Xplane 12 trees environment and lights that would be nice.
maybe wait for MSFS 2024?
You need a very powerful PC for this stuff.
Otherwise, fly slowly, and round and round a few times, while it renders.
Otherwise turn it off.
Correct the specs mentioned in the docs is a guideline but doesn't take into account a lot of other factors
