This just started going off 5 hours into my first international flight and it's a total of 9 hours and I'm like hell naw, not today😭. That didn't work cause my auto throttle was already on 0 so what I did is turned off auto throttle, pulled it back to slow down, then turned auto throttle back on

Thanks for making this video. Using the Garmin in the 172 can be cumbersome but once you get the hang of it flying can be more rewarding and immersive.

I have 150 speed in 2024 and it looks terrible. Some good buildings but ruined by a few smaller buildings and trees around it that look like a PS1 game that crashed

NAV mode does work with VLOC. You need to set your CDI properly for that.

Why not just use “Addons Linker”, it does the same thing and also you pick and choose what’s loaded in the sim at startup.

If you are here, because u bought the Flashlight Color Mod with multiple flashlight colors: U can use just 1 color in the same time so first go to the content manager...choose the flashlight mod...now u can see the colors...choose 1 color that u wanna use and delete the others. Now u have 1 color and if u will use ur plane, just click alt+L and voila. ✈️

I did get the issue with the hat 1 left and right not going to previous and next views.

Thanks for this. It really helps. im having an issue where im trying to program right pov2 to look left, right, up and down. Using the velocityone flight, it shows (POV2 in Training freelook). Im trying to select cockpit right, left, up and down, but when I assign pressing POV2, the button results show joystick numbers, instead of Joystick POV2, like your video. I know I sound like an idiot, but Im expecting Joystick POV 2. Am I making sense? lol

I given up going back to microsofts fligthsimulator 2020 isn´t there a written manual for microsoft flightsimulator ?

Perhaps you can help me. When VNAV is armed and I set my altitude using the alt knob before I reach my top of descent, the "TOD" marker on the ND moves. For example, if I'm cruising 10,000ft and my next target altitude is 5,000ft the TOD marker seems correct. But as soon as I turn the alt knob down to 5,000 the TOD marker moves further away toward the waypoint that I need to cross at 5,000ft. In other words, the plane won't start descending until I'm at the waypoint with the crossing restriction. So I'm still at 10,000ft when I should be at 5,000. What am I doing wrong?

The issue with the IFR ATC clearance not appearing seems to have been fixed. Although it does not appear when I initially programmed the flight plan, it appeared once I had completed pushback and the correct destination was filed. Great tutorial, thanks man!

Jumped into a VIP Private Charter mission last night after the update. My joystick ailerons, elevators and autopilot button were not working, nearly crashed after take off, but managed to slow the sim rate right down while I set the autopilot and climb rate manually, then went into controller settings to find that Microsoft had added some extra assignments to the joystick functions which needed to be removed. After that, I completed the mission, but because I had veered off course at the start, I got a low score for not following airline procedures, ending up with a B. Still picked up a tidy 310,000 credits though.

I cant enable lots of the aircraft that should have been in the Premium deluxe package, Like the C-172 Steam Gauge. Is this a bug as for now? Thanks for great video! :)

Are you playing on Steam? Had any trouble with it recognizing your Joystick/Throttle?

Airbus engines just shut off for me all prop planes are good and I don’t have the same key binds

From the Patch Notes No major Issues will be Fixed until the next Patch in 2025 unfortunately I've Gone back to FS2020 and I'll wait until 2026 before returning to FS 2024 Hopefully it's Fixed them

Hello. Thank yu for your very detailed video. I followd you step by step. But im having a very strange problem. After im done with every step i go back to the plane and nothing works?? Then i go to settings and see it is on KEYBOARD, not anymore on velocity?? So i put it back on velocity go back to the plane and again....its on keyboard??? What am i doing wrong here?

Wow, much improved! System spec is 13900KF, 4080, 64GB of 6000mhz CL-30 RAM, and running 4K. I just finished a night flight over London and I was getting a super smooth 115 FPS (frame gen) and there were zero stutters. I will report though that I was using 36GB of ram! This is with nothing running in the background. Still bugs between the EFB and the in plane Garmin, but if you do everyting from the Garmin, it seems to be working well. Still some individual AC function issues, but the sim itself is running really well!
