Do you think your multiple button assignments trick will work on other joysticks such as Velocity one flight stick?

I have the same velocity one as you are showing but I cant get the pc to recognise the quadrant is attached. It works partly if switching to input pc 1 or2 but loses function so I know it’s connected. No clue tried all day but pc mode won’t show quadrant in windows under joystick and so doesn’t when in ms2024. I can see yoke but that’s it. If you can help I’d be super grateful. Thanks

Thanks for your explainations dude! For the trim wheel: I had the same issue and it also doesnt work in the plane! It results in wired values and the plane goes nose down every time, so bad!

So in default planes the throttle, mix, and prop work fine. In third party planes however, I the throttle is working but the mix and prop isn’t. Any guesses as to what this could be?

how do you enable gps mode? You are on heading mode and then getting close to the flight plan but does not change from HDG to GPS, from where you activate GPS mode? In FS 2024 i mean.

What happens to the 2020 Marketplace items that you buy now? Do they automatically migrate to 2024?

These profiles do not show up on the device only the game. For xbox msfs 2024 it only shows default single engine or double engine no matter what I do in game and resets controls constantly. Anyone can help?? It's killing me

bro it took forever to get my old stuff from msfs2020 to 2024 and they didn’t get my bought scenery at all :/

I bought mine through Steam and my location is in C:\Users\"USER"(your Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community.

I have a Hotas 4 and buttons work OK but sliders just do not work Throttle, ailerons etc.

I think the reason why your config wasnt working, is under the controls menu, you have the SKYHAWK controls set to NONE. Prob needs to be set to your new config for them to work. You likely already figured this out. However - THANK YOU FOR THIS GUIDE!. Just got VelocityOne and was a mess trying to figure everything out, I think I am going to do as you did and start FRESH!

This procedure gives me a fckin headache, Why could Asobo not make joysticks plug and play for a £60 product is beyond me, I have an old Microsoft sidewinder FFB2 and i have given up trying to set it up, It boils my Pi$$, Back to MSFS 2020 i go untill Asobo patch this pile of garbage up! Rant over.

great video.......I have tried and followed every step on your video and others. For me none of them work...! as soon as I start the sim again it creates a whole other set of folders..Community...official2020...& official2024.....then it reverts back to c username/.............. and not Q:\Microsoft Flight simulator 2024.
