- Today we are going to look at the origin, secrets, timeline, story, lore, mysteries and history of the Piranha Plant from the super mario series. This enemy has been seen in loads of pipes and even outside of them fighting mario, luigi, and toad to help out bowser with kidnapping princess peach. We have seen them in games like super mario bros, super mario maker, super mario 3d world, super mario galaxy, super mario run and way more! But how did they change in terms of gameplay, use, design and story.

I always liked the Piranha Plant.
Perhaps my first real interest in a carnivorous plants started from the games and animation that I used to watch or in the comics that I used to read.
I do think that what they did with the piranha plant over the years, expanding it beyond the pipe, was great on nintendo's behalf

this video reminds me that Nintendo still hasn't added a number of things to super mario maker including:
•the ptoowey
•more skeleton enemies
•pokeys
•some tweaks to laqitue
•hidden passages (front layer semi-solid platforms instead of the usual back layer)
•SLOPES!!!
•split pipe segments
•triggers(seen in new smb2)
there are a lot more but I'll leave that to the message to Nintendo

I don't know why, but when you said that Pirrana Plants were fish plant hybrids, my mind blew up.

Titles: Super Mario World & Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World.
Info: Normal Piranhas are absent & replaced with a new variant: The Jumping Piranha.
Jumping Piranha: These have no stems & have helicopter blades as their leafs. They can be real annoying because they can surprise you & jump high into the air & hover back down! They're mostly found in pipes or bushes.
Upside-Down Piranha: A upward facing Piranha was supposed to appear, but failed to make it to the game. So in Vanilla Done Cave 3, they added a Upside-Down version.

Mario can't wake them up, so he has to walk slowly, crawl or sneak attack, because if he wakes them up, SURPRISE! They wake up & strike! The Fire Piranhas have returned after SMB3.

Weaknesses: Fireballs, Super Star & Koopa Shell.
