Thanks. I needed a run down on how to set my 60D up for shooting video. I've had it for years and I'm just now going to explore the video mode with it. Got an awesome trip coming up and I don't want to be switching from DSLR to a Handycam and back again within seconds.

Can I record with it without an external mic
There is no wifi in my canon 60d then I can't transfer photo in my phn..then what should I have to do to transfer photo in my phn..can you explain that on video..
Is there a way to get Soft Focus for video?
I saw the option for post, but not for shooting live, because I end up using blur and Remove digital Grain on AE, but Soft Focus would help for a Film look
Also, is there a hack for getting 16 fps on 60D? I use Posterize Time and CC Force Motion Blur otherwise
Also, how do I get Focus Peaking, i need those outlines because sometimes we dont have time to zoom in and set focus, especially while in a moving car

Hi, I just poppep up menu and my 60D doesn't seem to have the first two tabs on the menu for video settings. Any idea on how I could bring that up? thanks!
I would try changing the mode dial your camera is set to. Depending on the mode dial, you'll get different options on the menu screen. Hope this helps!

Reel Filmmaking ...I bought mine new when they came out and it’s depressing to see them on eBay for about $200 bucks. Still works perfect and did the new firmware update so it cool except big dslrs are not good for traveling or street shooting in people faces. Bought a Ricoh gr 3 and am waiting for new Fuji X-T4 specs when it’s announced hopefully March. Cheers🤜🏼🤛🏼

I'm the confused guy like you were discribing yourself but this video has got me started. Note that NTSC is not "anywhere else" like you said but mainly the Americas. Pal is much more widely used. learn.corel.com/blog/ntsc-vs-pal-what-are-they-and-which-to-use/
I am in Australia and bought my camera second hand and following your video found the PO had it set to NTSC when it should have been PAL. Not sure how much dfference it would make.
Hmm, just a run through of the menu, no reason why you have chosen you're settings and you are set to large jpeg not RAW.
Why is my video still so grainy? Does the quality has anything to do with the SD Card?
It could be the SD card if it's really low quality. I would check your ISO settings first, that tends to be the biggest reason for grainy footage.
