So this is just basically an exciter right? Like what dimebag used. iv been using the stock reaper exciter

its a pre amp , the input knob controls saturation and then the rest is just an eq
I don't think I've used an exciter before but I'm pretty sure those are basically compression but instead of pulling the source down it pushes it up
