Draven, To my ear, this amp suits your tuning well, meshes well with the rest of the gear used in the recording. Right amount of low end , mids , treb and just enough presence to cut through without being too much. Sounds great !

I find it crazy that the null test worked this well. I mean because alone of the variancy in analog parts two same pedals from the same brand would likely have differences.

I had a Peavey 5150 Signature model back in the early 2000's that I eventually sold for a JSX. I always regretted selling the 5150, so about a year ago I sold the JSX for a 6505+ (5150 II). Now, I kinda miss the JSX lol.

Put a patch cable in the loop and set to unity gain. Gives the power section more girth and thump.

That mix was brutal

What scale solar and what gauge strings. on baritones I’m on the fence on a 26.5” scale 7 string. I’m not really about 7 & 8 strings. I just love the massive tone of low tuning through ultra high gain. I need someone like yourself to talk too about this stuff. Can we be friends ? Ha. Seriously.

Ugritone closes and GGD releases a "brutal" drum library like a week later lmao, sounds great can't knock them, will def get it for the giant ride.

QC n Kemper the best

Def the Neumans sounds better. The Adams sounds like it has a lot of holes on the midrange, sounds like a combfilter on it, which is technically pretty bad. or... maybe you aligned them bad so it sound out of phase?

I might be wrong but i think the indentation of the tweeter inhances the treble which is good for your reg home stereo but bad for a reference speaker. If it were me id just by a cheap one knob class d amp and bypass the amp on the speakers

Don't ever buy used loudspeakers, you don't wanna finish misplaced with the final mix. Namastè.

Adam Mix is tighter, in the low mids, BUT for me there is more energy transferred in the Neumann mix and I like it more! However I wish there would be a middle ground between the two. The Neumann mix could use just slightly more tame low mids and the Adam mix could sound more powerfull in that exact region. The new Adam A series sounds great by the way, I did not mix just listenened to them.

My ears prefer the Adam’s mix, but you’ve had them for far longer so it doesn’t come as a surprise

I prefer the Adam speaker mix, sounded a bit more scooped and a little clearer to my ears. The mix with the Neumanns still sounds good though.

Just got a Schecter C7 SLS Elite MultiScale. Didn't play much for years but this video convinced me to grab this pedal. Sounds amazing. Jeff Loomis is my idol. Feels good to be playing again..

The Grano and Terror are disgusting together.

It's so interesting. In a mix, to me, they all sound very similar. Alone I can hear a definite difference. I think it shows the importance of the mix.

It could be some external factors or the way of capture but here: none of both nailed it for me. QC sounded like it had less gain, less oomph (maybe also a lil lesss loud), Kemper had some weird phasy sound going on on some notes and shifted the treble and mids, lost a looot of body. I like the Kemper the least here.

Surprised that the Kemper sounds way closer to the real amp than the QC! You should also compare the Neural Dsp grano with the AmpHub Will Putney version with the real thing.

All 3 sound great in a mix And out the mix i just think the qc needs a twist of the treble knob, it always seems to be a bit darker

This pedal is insane, I have more then 70 overdrive/boost pedals, but this is a special one, Iit came with 2 extra backplates and 1 was signed personally by Jeff Loomis

seems like every pedal from them comes with the extra back plate. They have some sick art work for sure. great pedals!!!!
