Hey Josh from the Immersed Team. Glad I could visit your channel. I have experienced debilitating symptoms of latency. Thank you being the WebMD to my cyber symptoms.
Justus this debilitating latency sounds horrendous. We're beyond relieved that Josh's chicken scratch on a whiteboard healed your latency. It's the simple things in life...
To each to their own, but in response to some of the comments criticizing the style, I personally think it's appealing and engaging. Great video Immersed team
It would be nice to just use a usb-c connection to your laptop, like the macbook, to connect immersed to. For me, this would be the best option, given the Meta Quest 2.
We now have a USB-C connection option (in BETA). More details can be found here: immersed.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/15048207700621-USB-Wired-Mode-BETA-
Awesome host! Immersed is soo revolutionary. Keep up the good work! I would love to see objects implemented. Like being able to have sticky notes that you can type into and move around in your work space.
I love the idea of immersed it has so much potential to be just the most amazing work space. Imagine if they did something like that 3d model your working on in blender ya here it is life size next to you. Man I wish someone there would have ideas like that lol.
Good content, good humor, looking forward to become part of the community (when my Oculus Quest 2 arrives). Also, please add support for multiple virtual screens on Linux! Pretty please with sugar on top?
@@ImmersedXR I connect my PICO 4 to the hot spot(Immersed-WIFI) of surface pro 4. The Immersed in VR cannot be opened and display "authorization failed". Is this error related to the PC? Or any other setting step?

@@wsteelenyc virtual desktop is designed for one high-res, high-performance monitor. Immersed is designed for up to five mid range low latency monitors, that will work. Virtual desktop also has steamvr support, unlike immersed- it's unnecessary.
it can because i played minecraft java and splitgate with immersed but there can be some fps drops and a little bit of latency, but i haven’t used my headset in a while or optimized my network so my experience would probably be different if i plugged in an ethernet cable.
Anyone else when using Wi-Fi direct loses total internet connection in the headset? When using it, I can’t go to the public coworker rooms because says no connection…
I love this app but I still get much more latency than with virtual desktop, even with WiFi direct turned on. Wondering if an adapter would make it better but my machines is fairly knew with great specs
Can I use Immersed/Quest 3 with just a 2018 Intel MBP and the Edimax WIFI adapter? Like if you are in a flight or a very remote location with out internet and cellular connection? Just working with the computer. Thanks.

Hi immersed, i want to buy a pico 4 just for this app to work and have multiple screens but i have a shity router + internet connection, is it possible to connect the vr headset to pc using usb C connection ???
The lag on my M1 Max laptop is horrendous. I'm using a 5GHz new router in the same room. Latency jumps from 5ms to 50+ after about 3 minutes. Can't use wifi direct on Mac or wired directly to router. Really frustrating.
@@TylerHansenVideo Interesting. I'm running an M1 as well and don't have any issues. How far are you typically working from your router? Do you have a direct line of sight to it? Hey there! Creating a USB-C connection requires us getting access to an API and that is not something Meta currently offers to 3rd party developers. If you're on the go we recommend using Wi-Fi Direct w/ your iPhone hotspot!
Could they done wire connecting to VR headset to PC for 0 latency like I understand the Immersed VR is ment for work flow of connecting other people but most people would use it for personal things like gaming, watching streaming apps and ect using 2-5 monitor! This is pretty amazing concept if people don't want to buy gaming monitor or other monitor products that using VR great way to use multiple monitors out of oculus quest 2 or other VR headset.
The best way to achieve low latency is using Wi-Fi Direct www.immersed.com/wifi-direct. Using a cable to connect your computer and headset requires access to an API 3rd party developers do not have access to at this time.
