i love how they unpretentious and embarrased they are, and when the director comes out he says "icelanders actually sight sigur ros as the sound of their country" and the interviewer goes "wow" like saying "those little guys who were blushing 'n scared of my standard questions are a major band??" the fact that they didnt have to speak greatly about themselves but everyone else do its the right way to blow the hole media away. im glad of loving this band
I love the fact that they are so anti-media. To me, they are even more interesting now. It's easily understandable that they don't want to be part of the mainstream music. Let's just hope they stay the way they are, we need more people like this!
im egyptian and Sigur rós are the best discover ive done in my entire life, but while seeing this a question lit my mind..am i a bit Icelandic inside? lol i do not love conversations or intense social gatherings and whatever..in some way i keep it up all so minimal. yes or no..then bye. they are really some good guys, sad to hear Kjarri is going to leave btw :(
well its easy for us as outsiders to judge... if we care to try and understand well come up with the fact that their just musicians and that their not much into that whole being stars and shit since their icelandic and not from the states or the "cultural surroundings" so their just like icelandic people: simple, kind and unpretentious. But ok, ure right they dont have a charisma for the tv spots and shit. I love em so much still and ur comment doesnt change things a bit

These guys are so precious that a nice reporter like this young lady can't even ask them straight forward unassuming questions without being treated as if she's on a lower plain. The "dark unapproachable artist" routine is so old and tiring. We already have an Icelandic mythology, we don't need the one these twits have concocted about themselves in their heads.
These guys are completely up themselves. If there not interested in interacting with others then why don't they get together on a Sunday in one of there garages and do there thing there. Why does anybody support this band? They obviously don't care about others.
