For the springs you can use vice grips to compress them then use zip ties to hold it down , once you have it partially screwed in you can cut the zip ties
@@Tech-28 ok, good. I am going to try and weld the middle section. I didn't apply any silicone/copper gasket stuff to the gaskets that came with the kit. Might change the 02 sensors if the welding doesn't fix problem. Any thoughts?
@@stephentyner3333 definitely weld it, exhaust clamps suck at sealing two pipes, once I welded it the leak was gone, I don’t know about your oxygen sensor
Don’t know if I’d be happier dealing with the aftermarket part over the oem part….I’d end up cursing at the aftermarket part for not properly aligning with other parts, but holy f**k Toyota wants too much for the their oem part 🤯Awesome video By the way it looks like you forgot the insulation plates that go above the pipe.
@@stephencook7337 thanks, I hope you enjoyed the video. The heat shields rotted off and we’re gone. Yeah the OEM pipe is of much much higher quality tho, better stainless steel and obviously the fitment is going to be perfect but for the cost of this one how can I complain lol
Hope you are well. You already have 15.2K Subs and your channel videos are excellent but unfortunately, your videos are not reaching the right people who really find in search about your content niche. They do not reach your videos in search results when they search for them. That's why your video's views and reach are very low. So I have some plans for your channel. Can I share?
No, these videos don't grow fast. They gain traction over time. No one cares about how to change a Cat on a Toyota till their car breaks and they have to do it.
@@Tech-28 How can you say people do not care and find it. When people find it they can not find your video on top. Can someone remove front catalytic converter next to flag, and weld flag on second catalytic and re use old pipe, then buying new parts?
I just bought same exact kit for 180 usd and free shipping pretty good deal compared to oem
@@timpelletier1995 nice!
Doing my research for my neighbors Toyota Corolla .... thanks

What a great video. Will that whole catalytic converter system you got fit ok on a 2007 Toyota Matrix? Is it the same size and design for both cars?
No, its different.
I just put this same catalytic converter on my car. How is it holding up? Did welding the middle section fix the leak? Thanks
It's good, yes

Ty. I thought the 1.8 Corolla only had 1 cat
Did the same, but the engine light on after driving for 10 miles.
