Add these methods to your weekly hair care routine and your hair will thank you. Enjoy! And have a blessed day.

African American women are much more clever with hair product applications. A tipped bottle, eye dropper or even a syringe makes a carrier/essential oil infusion so much easier to apply on the scalp. I've learned quite a lot from watching African American hair care tutorials that help my hair. BTW: I'm white with curly, easy to frizz, low porous hair so indirect heat is my hair's best friend but I have to be careful with product build up and wash more frequently with Candu "Free" shampoo esp since I entered the menopause phase of my life & my hair needs more TLC. I really appreciate the help!

I also used a bonnet dryer on warm for about 45 minutes. My hair is super moisturized!! I also do the LCO method since my hair is low porosity.

I’m just curious if maybe I have some already that may work. I know this would give it the BEST juicy look like yours is hehe but maybe I have a deep conditioner already and if you are just using that kind because it’s your preference than it may save me some money if able to use a kind I have. Okay so I just did my big chop 😬 so I just want to know do you do anything between your weekly hot oil treatments to keep your hair moisturized because my hair is so dry it’s scary

I'm going to try this, my mositure cycle is like every two days and my crown is always really dry. I never thought to add deep conditioner to my hot oil treatment.

If that works for you then that’s great & I think I’ll have totry this at home soon but deep conditioners are specifically for clean hair to help solve problems like dry hair, breakage, frizz, damage and things like that so the oil is somewhat stopping the deep conditioner from penetrating the hair shaft.

Question: the conditioner you applied after the hot oil, was it deep-in or leave-in?

you can put a plastic cap and allow the heat from your body to heat your hair :)

My wash day routine is the same as MissTranae below. Every Sunday I wash, hot oil treatment (cover hair with cap for 10 ...sometimes 15 minutes), deep condition with ors hair mayonnaise (,cover hair with a cap...10 to 15 minutes), leave in conditioner, then air dry. I never use heat.
I moisturize with jbco and blue magic hair grease every morning before work.
Great video. Did you big chop or transition? Do you get very much negative feedback wearing your natural hair?
I've actually had a couple of long time Male friends tell me that they don't like natural hair.
But I'm still wearing it with confidence. It's been 12 weeks since I let my barber shave my hair off and I now have a tea that I've dyed ginger blonde.
We have to love our hair....our natural hair.
Love the way you take care of yours. With care.
Can't pass up an opportunity to plug while on here so go to barnes&noble.com and check out my work under Tonya Young #readabook

I did a big chop years before this video.
I didn’t get much negativity when I transition to my natural texture and even if I did I don’t think I would care like you said we have to love our hair it’s God-given♥️
