Homemade Lathe Cross Slider Screw And Bearing Has Improvements
New projects homemade lathes bed (second lathe)
Hello TH-camr, today I’m glad to share my new second homemade lathes.
I do happy to make a bigger size because my first lathe the size is a bit small, when milling a big plate of thick metal is not easy because the length is not enough space to milling than the plate metal I used is thin most are 10 mm thick.
So I decided to make a new lathe bigger than the previous lathe. Now there is enough experience to make a new lathe also.

@@mr.ranyhomemade2466 no I don't read books or have any you can get more info by looking at youtube videos than by reading we all remember things we see 80% more than by reading find some old transmissions to take apart for the gears.

I think you might be able to find a small needle roller bearing that would work well close to the thread

Thanks for your recommendation. I'm sorry I did make an effort a special bearing the same size as the thread but I never found I thought supper crazy finally I founded only one size is 12 mm.
So right now I need more tools for wearing my homemade lathe but stuck.
