- Stocking up on food has always been a part of me. Also, I like to consider myself a kitchenista and love organized kitchens and pantries. I have been inspired by many pantries to arrive at this and I hope mine inspires someone also.

Midaasi you for opening up your pantry! I am engaged to a Ghanaian man and I've always cooked African dishes as my daughter is Nigerian, but there is a HUGE difference between Ghanaian cooking and Nigerian cooking. I've been learning how to make his favorite dishes 💚💛❤

I'm in hospital for 11 days now. Your videos are blessing me so much. I am looking forward to trying your jollof and your shrimp rice when I get out. Your family is beautiful and so is your spirit. My family is rom the eastern shoreline and food is a big part of our culture. Many African Americans from that region have ancestry in Ghana and Nigeria and I have been wanting to incorporate African dishes into my repertoire for quite sometime but I didnt know where to begin. I'm also looking forward to making your soft bread with the nutmeg. I luv when your son scoots by on his bike, it tickles me so. I find it so hard using most kitchen equipment just because I grew up not using most so I tend to use my hands or do them manually😂🤦♀️. I always boil rice in a pot even though I have a rice boiler, just hard for me don't know why. But sis I love your setup 😊😘😘
I am the opposite. I love my appliances. I do a lot considering everything and so if there is any machine that can make things easier and faster for me, I am getting it... that is if I can afford🤣🤣❤️❤️
It is important to have knowledge of how to do things without fancy appliances. Knowledge of some basic skills is necessary.
@@phylliskumi4355 I totally agree and trust me I had all the necessary training from my mum. Give it a grinding pot or grinding stone and I will show you that I had real home science lessons. That being said, I have a super busy life and I live in a modern world and love my space and privacy. Even if I could pay for a live in help, i wouldn’t because I want to enjoy my space without having to think about who else is in my house. And for that reason, I will always get any appliance that will make my life easier, provided I can afford it. When I visit the village, I do just fine👌🏾👌🏾
@@KwankyewaasKitchen Yes Kwakyewaa, I understand completely. I should have been clearer. I just made that comment just to tell the sista that appliances are great and I still use the few I have(no counterspace, boo), just that knowing that things like rice, I like rice better.

found in many homes here in USA.
That's my lady speaks well and all other jobs too. So well organized indeed just like me anyone can come and feel at home without me I know. My grandmother thought me so.
I wish I had a walk in pantry. I have all the stuff you do, but spread out all over, and one small closet pantry thank goodness. I want everything displayed, well lit and at mostly eye level like yours. But I have things in boxes on the floor! I also save bottles and jars for my own products.
