Thanks for this video! Semi-related question, as I believe you mentioned that clients are asking for water views such as the pond behind you shown in the video. When the houses are that close to a pond does it increase the cost of flood insurance? ( I personally am trying to avoid them, because I have seen videos about alligators living in them and also want to reduce contact with mosquitoes.)

Typically that kind of water doesn’t create the need for flood insurance. I have seen some homes like this where the very back of the yard is a flood zone. So if you were to build something like that and want to insure it, you would have to consider this.

There is like zero pros imo its not worth it at all. Whats the point of living in Tampa if you are gonna be way out there that defeats the purpose you might as well buy a house in the middle of Florida somewhere.

@@Twobarpsi Surburbia is hell. I lived in Brandon and I'm never doing it again. I'd rather be close to downtown or in st pete downtown.

@@dukedarkwolfe Suburbia is like jail. This is no way to live. We were meant to walk around everywhere and not have to get into that traffic hell and park somewhere everytime we want to do something. You will get better quality of life near the city.
