Really great tip 👍and you'd never guess about the guaranteed boot leek being the rear light unit gaskets till someone tells you which will save you money as its a simple diy job.

i watched it and im defniitly gonna try this with my mgf, just something i was wondering is: does it actually work?

It depends what the cause is to be honest. I think they always leak a bit, but it certainly helped mine leak less

what size tubing did you fit please? Also is the part on the door fixable just by aligning windows? Thanks!

I fitted tubing with an internal diameter of 3mm, although I’ve heard people using larger tubing with an internal diameter of 5mm

For me it worked, but I know it doesn’t work for everyone. If it doesn’t work, check the window alignment and the window cheaters next 👍

Never use PVC. Surgical tubing only PVC turns into hard plastic in the winter and it cuts up the factory seal.

I used 3mm (internal diameter) tubing, but I know others who have used 5mm
