I've just done this on my MG TF but just realised I didn't remove the buts before fitting the new gaskets. I just pushed the gasket over the nuts. Do you think I should do it again or will it be ok?

Try Kmaps or SAWS, they’re the most recommended for TFs and Fs. I seem to recall there is a cut off date for Fs before which they can’t remap them, can’t remember what year that is though. Kmaps or SAWS will know

What do you use to clean the metal at around 8:30? The boot of my TF has the same leakage problem so I'm thinking about replacing the seals.
